I saw this restaurant featured on a YouTube video. So we decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we came by. There is plenty of street parking and a few stalls directly in front of the restaurant. I ordered the pork adobo and it was delicious! It came with two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and some corn. The Adobo was cooked to perfection. The flavors were well balanced, and not salty. Another hidden gem for breakfast and lunch . This place being around for decades I remember when I was working at the airport in the mid 90's this place was the go to place back in the day . Stopped by here for lunch on a Friday. I usually go to Joe's Grill Express but I've been passing Jets for years so I thought that I should try this spot. Parking can be challenging but the dining area is spacious. I saw the specials menu and thought that the prices here was pretty reasonable until I ordered my lunch. I ordered a hamburger steak and beef stew mix plate. The owner was raving about his home made food and gave recommendations. My plate came out to over $18 which surprised me, mainly because I don't eat out or order out very often so I am not used to the higher prices nowadays. Took my lunch home and it was just OK. My biggest disappointment was the beef stew, which was recommended. For one thing I had 5 pieces of potato and only one piece of meat. The spaghetti salad lacked flavor as did the stew gravy. Ordered pancakes this morning for my daughter and she spit it out. I tasted it and it tastes like vinegar or if they used spoiled ingredients? Idk how that's possible with pancakes so idk if you guys threw something that wasn't supposed to be in there on accident or on purpose. Great local spot in the airport area for breakfast and lunch for a very reasonable price. We decided to come here for breakfast. I ordered smokies with eggs over hard and rice. I was shocked to get 8 smokies as most places would only give 5-6. And to top things off, the price was only $8.50. What a great price! Many other patrons were either waiting to order or had already ordered. There was a constant line when we were there. There is one employee taking orders and I noticed two other ones cooking in the back. The restaurant itself isn't really big but had a good amount of tables for dine in. Parking is available directly in front or street parking is also available. It was a first time for my friend and I and one friend was the one who had suggested it. I cant be certain though...Jets is situated on koapaka street.. if you are headed ewa bound its on your left just look for their bright yellow sign (pic Inside seemed clean and cool with aircondion and a few tvs... There were a few tables and chairs spaced comfortably apart. They have a decent menu with mostly breakfast and lunch ... plate lunch fare (Pic of menu) I went with their "fly rice" $11.00... Decent amounts of nicely seasoned rice with fish cake.. green onions very tasty but I suspect some bacon grease...a but oily with a good shoyu flavor... It also came with 2 eggs and choice of meats like bacon.. portugese sausage.. spam .. luncheon meat and possibly ( not sure) vienna sausage... The staff wasnt friendly or hostile just there to do their job...Not sure if there was a public restroom .... Anyways not a bad choice to get some reasonable decent grub read more

Ate here for the first time with my family. We ordered the B+G Moco, Bacon+Portuguese Sausage breakfast special with "Fly" rice, and grilled cheese sandwich. The fried rice was yummy and packed with some meats and fish cake. Everything else we had are typical breakfast items, but they were cooked to perfection for us. Our grilled cheese sandwich, bacon, and portuguese sausage were super crispy and the eggs were cooked the way we ordered it. The food overall is cheap for the amount of food they give and the quality of the breakfast food. There are tables and seats available and a really small parking lot in front other than street parking. We came on a Saturday morning so they only served breakfast. We are staying at the Pacific Marina Inn nearby and walked to Jets for breakfast. We're vegetarian so none of the set meals would work for us, but they made us eggs and toast no problem. If you're in the airport area, this is the place to go for some great grinds! I was just introduced to Jets about a month ago by my coworker since our unit is by the airport and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! I always order the Portuguese sausage, bacon, and eggs with a fried rice instead of white rice. Although it may be a bit pricey for a takeout breakfast(~12), the amount you get in the plate could easily feed two people.I'm a bigger guy so I'm able to eat the whole plate but when I'm done IM STUFFED! This spot is a local favorite. We ended up here because they are conveniently by the airport and they were the only ones opened early. I called my order in 15 minutes ahead so I could just grab and go. We ordered the fried rice omelette and b&b plate with no egg. Fried rice omelette was BOMB. There is Kamaboko in the fried rice and it was seasoned deliciously. I should've ordered it with a side order bacon though. B&B plate came with bacon, Portuguese sausage, corn beef hash, eggs, and fried rice. The fried rice tied it all together to make it so ono! Ambiance: This is an old school plate lunch place where you can buy the local newspaper for $1, snacks between 75 cents to $1.50. Value: The lechon kawali was $9.75. For the amount of lechon kawali that was on the plate, I thought it might be a little on the high side. Jets is located in the business district near the airport and has been a great place for me to grab breakfast before heading to work. Parking | They have a small parking area near the entrance. You're lucky if you find street parking in this area. Restaurant | They have a fairly large seating area with tables and chairs. Jets is the type of place you go strictly for the good-tasting, cheap food. There are no frills here...the restaurant isn't attractive at all. Their daily specials are written on their whiteboard on the left as you enter the restaurant. You can also view their specials on Instagram (@gotjets). Food | Jets serves some really good breakfast and lunch. My go to breakfast is their fried rice, eggs and bacon. Their fried rice is definitely a local treat as it comes with Kamaboko (fish cake). Their clubhouse sandwich has always been a lunch favorite of mine. Other things on the menu are shoyu pork and barbeque chicken. They have extras at their counter like candy bars and a condiment bar on next to the front counter. They have a double fridge where you can help yourself to drinks. A good variety of drinks are available from orange juice to Arizona Iced Tea to Powerade. Price | Jets prices are very reasonable for the food quality and the amount of food they give. Everything on their menu is priced pretty low even if it's not a special of the day. They accept cards for payment and require a $10 minimum to use a card. This is a "hole in the wall" establishment right in the middle of the industrial parts near the airport. It was a rough morning as we took the red eye into HNL, lil bit of turbulence, lack of sleep and hunger. Once we picked up our car rental, my husband remembered that his brother brought him to a restaurant in the area. My husband may forget a few things but he's a foodie and found this place in seconds! Because it was so early in the morning, we were first in line. My husband got the loco moco that also came with bacon and spam while I got the Denver omelette with rice (which is a must for me). The portion size was perfect and all so yummy. I ended up ordering the same meals to bring back to my parents for their breakfast. And service? Well, it's Hawaii so you know it was good. The hamburger steak plate were two tiny thin hamburger patties on a huge plate of rice. The hamburgers were tasty which is why I gave them two stars instead of one. But for $10 I could have gotten a much better more substantial lunch anywhere. The meat jun was not even tasty. It was paper thin beef with tons of batter that for some reason was very chewy. I felt as if she wanted me to turn around and walk out. I should have!! I ordered a mini BBQ chicken with toss salad. The chicken came with one and a half pieces and they didn't offer any dressing for the salad. When my food was done she handed me my food and turned around and dashed back into the kitchen. Love their Fly Rice with good crispy bacon and over easy eggs. Was turned on to this business from my co-workers as Jets is literally a quick 5 minute walk from our office. What I like about Jets is that every time I have gone (it has been quite a bit since my first review) the same employee is always working the front counter; I personally like this. Unsure who is working in the back but they know how to make a good breakfast entree. The Fly Rice (fried rice) has a good assortment of fish cake, onions, seasonings, and green onions. I could eat the rice by itself without the eggs or bacon but pop the over easy egg onto the rice and it just went from a 10 to a 20. Eggs have always been perfectly cooked and my oh my the BACON. I like bacon but I want good bacon and most places use cheap stuff to cut costs; NOT JETS!!! I would order extra bacon just to get more of the flavorful, crispy, long strips of pork heaven. Visited Jets a couple times for lunch and for me Jets is a breakfast only place. They have rotating lunch specials in addition to their plate lunches. However my stomach for some reason does not like any of their lunch menu I have ordered. Sadly I did burn myself out on the Fly Rice; but decided that instead of my normal Bento box breakfast I really wanted the bacon.
