Sea bass, lobster ravioli and scallops all amazing, and delicious dessert. Also had a great summer bourbon drink. Waiter was amazing, and the owner checked in as well. It felt like the men were acknowledged and served, while the women were largely ignored. He also seemed more interested in drinking behind the bar and creating conflict with guests than providing good customer service. When we asked if he could put our happy hour drinks on one check so we could pay cash, he handled the request poorly instead of simply explaining the policy. After we ordered Clase Azul shots, his attitude noticeably changed--but only toward the two men in our group. The women still received little attention, which made the experience feel even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, one of the women in our group was given a noticeably smaller pour than everyone else. Great bartenders make everyone feel welcome and treat guests equally. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience with Jason, and it left a very negative impression. We won't be returning.

So while no Bobby Flay, I think they met their goal, hence the five stars. I had some excellent flank steak. Chips and salsa were really fresh and good, although it was more of a pico de gallo and so a little messy. We had the charbroiled jalapeños to start in. Those are pretty good. My daughter had the grilled chicken, Caesar, and enjoyed it. Overall, the atmosphere was a little fine dining, but still pretty chill. There was enough interesting Options on the menu that I would go back in the area.

We asked up front if they split the bill individually, they do not, but we were prepared with our own plan, so I encourage you to do the same. The Bullhouse was nice inside, a casual eatery with a Mexican leaning flare. Everything was enjoyable and everyone was happy with their drinks, appetizers and meals. They have a small vegan menu, which could be better, but our one friend was very happy to see that they had one at all. Service was smooth and the place had a nice energy. We were thankful for them taking good care of us and hosting our group. If you're in Chestertown it's an easy recommendation to make. Enjoy!

We sat outside which was fine if I had looked inside I may not have stayed. From the sign with tape on it to the black carpets, the wood paneling, mirrors and what may just be the darkest bathroom I have ever been in everything about the place is old, dated and depressing. Not dirty mind you, just sad looking. Surprisingly there wasn't dust piled up or anything else disgusting just really, really old. Service *** Our server started out rough as she seemed a bit overwhelmed but once she settled down everything was smooth. Food took a long time to arrive and came in waves. Food ***** This is what shocked me the most, everything was absolutely fantastic! Eggs, home fries, pancakes, bacon every dish was prepared like a 5 star restaurant and delicious. The care shown in the preparation was nothing short of remarkable! Value **** 6 adults and 6 kids $125 was very reasonable. Things can add up quickly though as your $4 omelette goes up $.85 with each topping. Overall **** A little generous with the stars but the food was terrific I might have knocked a star off if we had to sit inside. I worry that due to the seasonal nature of the business that upon a return trip that the same kitchen staff will not be there but for this visit they exceeded expectations.

No reservations, only walk-ins, but we were lucky to be seated by Byron who ensured our stay was pleasant. Located by Lake George in Sagamore resort, the setup is brilliant, whether you come here to eat, or just grab a drink! We got the New England Clam Chowder $16), Farmers Summer Salad ($22), and Blackened Fish Tacos ($23) to share. Food was fresh, and the salad was refreshing! Modello on tap went down easy with tacos for our table. Excellent service, perfect set-up, and welcoming staff makes it an easy choice for a quick snack or meal when visiting Lake George!

The poor service is factored into the score, but there's no reason to rehash every detail. We started with the mussels which were exceptional. The saucy broth they are served in is delicious. Unfortunately it's served with not nearly enough bread, and if you ask for more you will be charged (without being told). Our mains were a lobster roll and the steak salad. I am not a good judge of lobster, but it was "delicious." My steak salad did not arrive as ordered. The steak was overcooked (still tender, but certainly not medium-rare) and it was doused in dressing (which I had asked for on the side). The only reason to eat here is for the lake views. You are truly right on the lake. You're paying through the nose for that view because the food is just ok.
