I've been to this place about 4 years ago, and had the best duck, it was awesome, today is Mother's Day and I had crab cake eggs Benedict and it was delicious, the mimosas were delicious and the spicy Margaritas were delicious too!! Definitely worth the money read more

Radici is losing its shine these days. A once creative and ever changing menu is now repetitive and boring. Oysters were served with out being cut from the shell, though they took them back and served us another new dozen immediately properly prepared. Short Rib Beef Wellington was a complete miss. I was expecting a well cooked and braised fall-apart short rib inside a puff pastry but instead I got a medium cooked brick. Any decent chef knows you don't serve short rib medium- come on guys! Flavor was nice but why not just use a petite filet? Taste was decent but the beef was near inedible. Wife had the Lobster Francaise over spaghetti. Lobster tail was cooked to perfection but the spaghetti was gummy and flat with almost no "lemon caper butter" as described. Oh well. Food is served quickly but not rushed and the bartender/server was awesome. Also, they're still playing background music on a garage sale sound bar. Uggh.... I had such high hopes for this place. The scallops were excellent. However, duck - which was a bit overcooked in my opinion-came with a few drops of sauce. We had to ask for more. Nothing had the flavor I would expect for a 4.5 star restaurant. read more

It's been four years since we first and last dined at Radici Kitchen. Blame it on the pandemic. We've always been a fan of Chef Brian Bowden and have followed him since his Ginger Man days. While he was not working in the kitchen the evening we were there, he and Carly have trained the staff well enough to allow them to have a day off knowing that there would be no diminution in the superb preparation of the food or in the service. Radici Kitchen has obviously built a good following as evidenced by it already being almost 90% filled when we arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation on a Monday. We were promptly seated and provided with menus. A large blackboard at one end of the bar displayed the specials for the evening. Along with a bottle of Saratoga Water ($8) I ordered a pint of Northway Oatbituary ($8) oatmeal stout. A very nice stout! Our only disappointment of the evening was that the bar did not have a selection of mocktails among their Seasonal Cocktail List for my wife to choose from. They did, however, develop an impromptu variation of a ginger ale with bitters ($4) to satisfy our request. My wife started with a small plate order of Baby Beets ($15) - red and purple heirloom beets resting on a bed of goat cheese mouse, with pickled onion, avocado, marcona almonds, and wildflower honey. Even I thought this was a tasty dish. I started with Toasted Bao Buns ($18). While the buns were not the same texture as I've had at some Asian restaurants, they were still light in texture, fresh, and filled with a tasty combination of prosciutto San Daniele, fig mostarda, burrata, and aged balsamic. Delicious, especially loved the fig mostarda. For her main course, my wife ordered another small plate from the evening's specials, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake ($24). Normally she shies away from crab cake because there is so little crab in the preparation. This was truly an exception being all crabmeat on a bed of spicy tomato remoulade and topped with shoestring potatoes. Very satisfying. I, too, went to the evening's specials for my main course, Pan Seared Duck Breast ($32) with green beans, soubise, root vegetable puree, and a cherry demi. The duck was perfectly prepared to a medium-rare and retained its flavor, tenderness, and moisture. I was amazed at how colorful the plating looked with the demi, the puree, and the soubise each adding brightness in addition to unique flavors. The cherry flavor was intense without being cloyingly sweet. This will be my standard for future duck dishes I order. Leaving room for dessert, I was able to try the Limoncello Ricotta Cheesecake ($10). So light, creamy, and flavorful, the touch of a strawberry sauce adds to the enjoyment. We were also served a very tasty Amuse with cinnamon and clove at the end of our meal. I can't overlook the service provided to us by Liz C. She truly made us feel welcomed and saw that all our needs were met. We're looking forward to planning more frequent visits. read more

Radici offers a delightful dining experience with exceptional service and a charming ambiance. The cocktail selection is noteworthy, providing a flavorful start to the evening. Loved the sweet holiday themed adult beverage that I don't recall the name of, While main courses generally satisfy, the swordfish and short rib beef Wellington both surprisingly leaned towards the dry side. The fried oyster appetizer stood out as my personal favorite, and though the Vietnamese wings were good, I would have preferred them crispier. Burrata dip was plentiful and decadent. A sweet ending with the ricotta donuts was a winning choice for dessert. I'll definitely try Radici again. read more

There was a piece of mackerel in my restaurant week bouillabaise at Radici. I liked finding that strong-flavored fish because I enjoy contrasts, and the rest of my meal had been so harmonious. That is a trademark of Brian Bowden's cuisine as I recall it from earlier gigs in Saratoga: the presentation is beautiful, while the flavor profile is very approachable. Which makes Radici a good mainstream choice for fine dining. I didn't like any of the IPAs I was offered so ordered a house special cocktail, El Bluto I believe. It had tequila with something on top that was torched before serving, interesting and satisfying flavor. My 3-course restaurant menu ($45) included a baby beet salad and creme brûlée in addition to the bouillabaise; all were solid executions. As a single diner I was seated at the bar and studied the backlit liquor bottles against the mirror as I enjoyed my meal. The lighting is what makes Radici feel special; it's a very simple storefront space with exposed brick on one wall and could look very ordinary with bright overhead lighting. Service was steady and the pacing of dishes was good... really, no complaints! read more

Really enjoyed eating here! Natalie recommended the cider spritz and it did not disappoint! Tangy, refreshing-- delicious! Loved the beets too-- served with creamy goat cheese mousse, rich avocado and a sprinkling of Marcona almost and chives-- so satisfying! Have been to Radici a few times over the years for dinners and events as I have friends who live in the area and have always had pretty good experiences. In my most recent visit I got the shrimp scampi which was a special and was delicious with a brown butter style flavor that was unique. The carpaccio starter was also fantastic. The octopus starter unfortunately was so rubbery and rough that it was basically inedible, the beans and sauce it came with was delicious though so hopefully just poor preparation of the octopus itself. We were a bigger group this time so we were seated near the front where a heater was oscillating and directly hitting the people sat at the end of the table which was a bit of a nuisance, we were told that they could not change the angle of the heater which was just a bit of a bummer as the person in that seat was overheating, so if you are coming with a large group during colder months try to request a table towards the back! read more

I took my son here for his 16th birthday and the service was outstanding! He said it was one of the best meals he ever had ( filet mignon). I had the chicken parm which was also amazing! Overdone fish. Underdone pasta. Great bread and stellar oysters. Quality ingredients. Keen eyed bartender. Attentive wait staff. Long wait for entrees as it looked like the kitchen went on break right after we ordered our mains. Overcooked and tacky swordfish for $40 was puzzling. Second cook was halfway there. Sautéed spinach which I thought was to be asparagus was mishandled and left a dry mouth, and sad, cubed, unsalted potatoes were passed off as fingerlings. Bearnaise was pleasant and smothered some of the disappointment. It was plated like a meat and two sides, and severely lacked given the price and hype. Pomodoro was fresh. Gnocchi was underdone and floury. Waiter was great. Kitchen was flexible, but it would be a tough sell for me to entrust the them again with fish, pasta, or price wise. read more

Our first visit was a birthday celebration. The service, food and drinks were all notable. The drink special was a great start as a-blood orange martini. The lasagna special was the best I have ever had. It was light and every bite was savory. The homemade noodles added enough to the dish without overpowering it. PATHETIC is the only word to describe the $12 key lime pie. It is not a slice of pie but a mini tart about the size of a cookie. The Chef/Owner threw an insult laced hissy fit at our table. The word pathetic triggered him so much he came back to insult me again. " How much pie do you need?" The swordfish "oscar" was too small for $36. It was about the size of the fish in a fillet o' fish sandwich. read more

Took a friend here for her birthday. They sat people every few table apart to practice social distancing. The server was friendly and helpful with our questions. I end up getting the lamb chop special while my friend ordered the salmon. Wow wow! The menu is limited but everything is well prepared. Lamb chop was not gamy, medium rare as ordered and the sauce complemented the lam and the sides. Salmon outside is crispy and tender on the inside with parmasan risotto and tomato salad. All so good! End the night with lemoncello cheesecake. Light with the right sweetness... Highly recommend this place! read more

Up in the Lake George area for the week and saw a great review so decided to check out Radici So glad we did !!! We were party of 3 and they could t seat us at a table till 8 so we got reservations at the bar and had drinks and apps The fried oysters were the best I ever had !and the raw oysters were super fresh ..I'm still thinking about them I had ordered a special Martini with blood Orange again ...still thinking about that drink not sweet and generous pour ! They were very accommodating and moved us to a table after the appetizers I ordered the pork meatballs because when I see meatballs on a menu I think they must be awesome if they are a meal ! Disappointing would be kind. To me a $300 plus dinner for 2 in Glens Falls should be great not Ok. First, if the menu lists the wine vintage as 2019, the bottle they serve should not be 2021. Next, if you specifically discuss with your server that you want your $56 steak to be rare it should not be served medium. And if I wanted to have an expensive and special dinner with pre teen children acting out I'd do it with my own family not strangers. Not going back any time soon. read more

Made reservation on a busy weekend, early dinner. Walked in and was attended too, which went down hill. Ordered drinks from host, turned server and disapeared behind bar. He was great but did not communicate with anyone we had not put in our entrées. We waited over an hour before we spoke up to share we didn't have a server take our order. We asked how long the entrées would be to decide if we wanted to stay, he made a rude comment "whenever they come out of the kitchen"... My first time there was for a private party. You would have thought we were in New York City at a high-end restaurant. The service staff was fabulous. Always there when you needed them but never over bearing. The hors d'oeuvres were fabulous especially the lobster roll and the little Chinese box with chopsticks! We had a four course dinner served to us after those great hors d'oeuvres! The whole evening was a great event! So excited to have such a beautiful and upscale restaurant right here in Glens Falls. We've gotten take-out from Radici many times but had not eaten in the restaurant. Silly mistake. It is so good, we can't wait to go back. The interior has been upgraded since the days of Tellulah. Less noisy and very comfortable. Welcomed by Michealina, we were seated immediately. Quick service on opening drinks and placed our appetizer orders. Caesar salad and fried oysters with an spicy apple slaw. Delicious and different. Entrees were grilled halibut and Gnocchi Bolognese. Plate-licking delicious!! Sat outside on a gorgeous early summer evening and had an amazing meal. Blossom appetizer stuffed with cheese was terrific, as was the octopus. We had specials - the surf and turf risotto for my friend and I had the alaskan halibut with puréed corn, asparagus and chanterelles...what set it apart was the pickled rhubarb that came with it - offered some sour tang to the richness of the corn and the creaminess of the fish. Heavenly. For dessert we shared salted caramel / espresso pudding dish. I really wished I'd gotten one all to myself! Terrific meal, amazing service and relaxed, no-rush atmosphere. Just had a delicious dining experience at Radici. We started out by sharing the Baby Beet small plate. Red and golden beets, goat cheese mousse (soooo good!), avocado (perfectly ripe), marcona almonds and honey. It was to die for! I would go back just to have that again. The short rib papardelle was outstanding. The pasta was sooooo good. You can definitely tell it was not from a box. My husband loved the rigatoni pomodoro which had a centerpiece of burrata to dig in to while you ate the pasta. We were also treated to an amuse bouche of a tiny tart shell filled with herbed ricotta and a mini tasting of chocolate mousse with a strawberry sauce after the meal. Also had an afogato with vanilla gelato and a ladyfinger. Quite tasty! We had not been here in a long time but I think this will become one of our fave places to go! read more

This was my first time eating at Radici. It was me and a friend. We arrived on time for a 6:45 resavation.we were seated immediately and given a drink menu. After sitting 20 minutes and no water or being asked if we would like a drink I went over to a waitress and when I told her she apologized and came right over. Everything was perfect after that,great service,great food. Started out with the grilled scallops and tempura squash blossoms with goat cheese. Scallops were cooked perfect as were the squash blossoms, someone asked me how the squash blossoms tasted, I don't know the goat cheese was over powering but tasty. Main course was chicken sorrentino. Very good a big flat chicken cutlet with eggplant parmesan on top. The sauce and Sunday gravy was amazing. I would have given five stars if we didn't have such a long wait after being seated. I would definitely go back and I have already recommended it to friends. read more

I am sympathetic to the staffing shortages restaurants are facing, so my wife and I completely understood a long wait between my appetizer (buttermilk oysters, which were very good, topped with marinated radish and fish roe. And my wife's salmon entree with bok choy and shoestring potatoes was very good, although the ginger-lime butter was pretty indistinguishable from teriyaki sauce. But my spaghetti carbonara was a disappointment, with a sauce that never thickened at all and just pooled like thin soup at the bottom of the bowel, and guanciale which seemed like bacon bits. The dish had no flavor whatsoever, and then I added a little salt in desperation, and it tasted like, well, salt. The place was doing a brisk take-pout business, the bar was full and so were the tables. Good for them; not so good for me. read more
