What a great place for dinner in the lake! We ate outside on the beautiful stone deck overlooking the Lake with the Minnihaha passing by... Dinner was perfect, service prompt. We will come again!!!!

Excellent dining on Lake George 4 course pre fix valentines day menu. Everything was terrific as well as the service. Squash soup, filet mignon, chocolate lava cake, risotto appetizer was very good.

This used to be kid free elegant dinning. The owner passed away and son took over. Won't be returned

We were pleasantly surprised with both the high food quality and friendly, efficient service. Seated outside at a comfortable table we shared an excellent crab cake with our cocktails. The 'Lake George Punch', was very nice. Our server, Jack, was on his game & could give lessons on on unobtrusive high quality table service with a smile and some pleasant conversation. The pulled chicken tacos and crab stuffed haddock were both excellent! Flavor, texture, doneness all top notch. We were caught up in the details of sauces, rice, and wonderful harcort verts (can't just call them a side of green beans). Unexpected in a hotel restaurant in a touristy area. All in all, with the July evening breeze blowing off the lake, a slice of lake view, and the bustling fellow visitors putting on a show just for us.... It was a very nice experience.

However, food came out very slow. Nachos were good and we enjoyed most of our entrees. Someone else had the rib eye which we would absolutely not recommend. Upon further review, we all felt that the food was a bit salty, but worked in a pinch when we were hungry. Overall, just okay.

We had the "drunken lobster pasta" special and the Bali fried rice-I recommend going with the spicy version. We asked for it not too spicy but regretted it. For dessert we had the peach tart with fresh whipped cream...it was all so fresh and delicious. The service was incredible and the ambiance was nice. We sat in the dining room which was nice and quiet and that's what we needed. We will go back for the livelier bar side next time. It had plenty of tables both high top and regular seating. We decided to get out of Bolton Landing for dinner and we were very pleased we did!!

I was going to book the Log Jam but they only had a reservation at 7:45 and we would be in the area at 6:30. Luckily I found Lizzie Keays in nearby Warrensburg. I picked this place because the reviews looked promising, the website said there's live music and the menu looked good. When I walked in though, I panicked for a sec because the vibe isn't what my family is accustomed to. It's more of an old, small sleepy country town type of vibe. When our poutine appetizer arrived, my kids oooh'd and aaah'd and devoured it. Having had a ton of poutine in Canada, this one was completely different. It bad baby potatoes instead of fries and short ribs with a tasty sauce. The bread with seasoned butter was good too. So far, the food was surprisingly good. I started to relax a bit. Then our mains arrived. We each loved our food. I ordered the short ribs with pasta. The pasta had the perfect amount of roasted cherry tomato and cream, making the pasta really delicious. The short rib was tender and tasty but I do wish it had a bit of sauce. A couple of us ordered the pork ribeye and they both loved the dish. The pork was perfectly moist and tender. We also ordered the chicken parm with regular tomato sauce instead of the walnut sauce- it was also a hit. We also ordered the Black Forest chicken - it was delicious. For dessert, we ordered the hazelnut torte. It was moist and had the right amount of sweetness. Many of the dishes had walnuts in the sauce but I was happy they were able to make the chicken parm with a regular sauce instead of a walnut based sauce to accommodate severe allergies at our table. The entree prices were on the higher end but reasonable. The sides, dessert and drinks however, seemed a bit pricey. Overall, a good meal and it will be on our list of restaurants for the area. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to change the vibe of the restaurant to match the food. The vibe is more of an old grandma-y type of place and while the music was good, it was very country. The food and its beautiful presentation, on the other hand, is slick and modern.
