However it's been decreasing in how much they fill it for the last two times. Five stars best tacos I've ever had , definitely love the names of the tacos very creative.

Ate here for the first time Sunday. It wasn't very busy but even so 15 minutes after checking out we still hadn't received our food. The table we sat at was wiped down from the prior customer but was left soaking wet. We used the brown paper towels to dry it off before we could sit down. One rather off-putting quirk is that many of the male employees were sporting long hairy beards. None had any protective covering while they marched out of the kitchen. I can see having a beard while out hunting or working on a car, but not around food for obvious reasons. The food arrived in 20 minutes and was flavorful though served with only tablespoon sized servings of salsa. We had to ask for more as it wasn't available as a side. Overall, a fair dining experience that was more fast food than restaurant quality though priced like a restaurant. read more

I was excited to see Torchy's open up close to me. I thought I would be here a lot since I live a hop, skip, and 2 jumps from here. Nah.. I've been maybe a handful of times since it opened. Don't go to this one. The one in the hospital district is much..much better than this one. The service is painfully slow here. 20 minutes for queso one time. One time I got my tacos first and then 15 minutes later came the queso. The queso doesn't even taste the same as the one over there., No surprise to me since this area sucks for food. Or maybe it's just me because I've been in one place for 7 years and my gypsy soul is itchin to move? I doubt it's me, but if I want Torchys.. I'll go to the hospital district. read more

Would have 5 stars if when you're picking up a Togo order made online you didnt have to wait in the ridiculous long line of people ordering food and they would actually use the Togo station they built. Only in the beginning did they use that station. Otherwise the food is awesome read more

This place has just gotten consistently worse over the last few months. They are always understaffed and never have enough tables. Today we had to wait 40 minutes for food. Service is non existent, they won't even bring our chips and queso until the whole meal is ready. read more

Although the food was good the safety in this restaurant is not a good thing. With masks being required in Tarrant County three women walked in with out masks and were served. I told them they were required and they kept walking to order. We were almost finished and left as quickly as we could. Not alrighty for your customers of any age let alone the two of us over 65 that are greater risk. I will not be back. Being a RN for 46 years makes me even more upset about this incident. read more

*UPDATE* Let me start by saying I love the food here, however, I was REALLY disappointed in the service today. I placed an order online this morning for two tacos. My order was as follows: A Migas on corn with no tortilla strips, and a Dirty Sanchez. When I got there to pick up my order I was checked out and told it would be just a couple minutes. So I sat, and I waited... Two orders were brought out within a couple minutes and placed on the table behind the register. One lady was given her order and left. I sat.. and waited.. while waiting I was asked by three different people if I had been helped. I told each of them "yes, just waiting on my order." No one asked me my name or checked the bag that was still sitting there. About five minutes after the last person spoke to me, the girl who had checked me out saw the bag sitting there, walked across the restaurant, looked at the bag and said "yep, here you go!" If not for her who knows how long I would have waited there. So that was super annoying. So I get home, open my food, and find my order was completely wrong. Again, I had ordered the Migas on corn with no tortilla strips, and had received a Migas on flour with tortilla strips. The Dirty Sanchez I ordered is suppose to come with carrots.. there were none! Awesome. I double checked my receipt and my order was correct there, so I don't know how that happened. I ate the food, I was not about to drive back over there and wait for them to remake it because that would have taken way longer than I was willing to wait at that point. My coworker had suggested to eat here and it was amazing! Today, was my cheat day and indeed I felt no remorse in indulging in this delicious food. I did a to-go order. Manager was kind of a child to a nice kid just talking to me for a brief minute (about my job since I had the logo on my shirt). Good kid, 30 second interaction and manager comes up and says, "hey, can I talk to you for a minute? Clean that window." Then walked off. I get it. Keep people working, and you gotta run a tight ship, but get the hell outta here with that mess. The window can wait, and truthfully, your people are what will keep me coming back. Tall red sexy booths surrounding around to 10 pretty chandeliers glam style bar. My chicken fajita taco was adorned with two soft, warm corn tortillas, fresh fixins that was mmm tasty. Ordered the queso, watch out, it's quite spicy, and retried beans. The beans were just, just, uh, really terrible, do not order, trust me on this, weird reddish color. I'll be honest I took a bite wondered, "What the hockey sticks did I put in my mouth?" I felt scared. I came by Torchy's on this past friday because I wanted chips and cheese and one taco. So that's what I got. The insided lay out is so nice, and the customer servie was really nice. When I walked in a nice girl took my order and suggested things to me which was nice. She wasn't annoyed even though I was a little indicisive. After she took my order, she gave me one of those waiting things, and I probably waited for like 10 minutes which doesn't bother me as long as I get my food fresh. A nice gentleman brought me my food and that was that. I appreciated my taco and chips and cheese. It was super good. I definitely recommend. read more

I went into Torchy's tonight to see what all the hype is about and discovered it isn't about much. I placed my order in great detail and the cashier repeated it back to me. It was not a complicated order by any means. I get it to go because I know we will not be able to eat it all. The cashier said it would be about ten minutes before the food came and it was 32 minutes for the order to come. Once it arrived the order was incorrect from the very start. I was already impatient because I took so long for the food to arrive. Don't get me wrong if she had said 30 minutes then that would have been okay but I was expecting 10 not 30. I spoke with the manager about my order and he brought out an additional side of beans for the missing beans in my food. And he did being out the sauces that were not in the bag as ordered. The worst part is the food was bland and did not have any flavor. I ordered the grande burrito which was not GRANDE by any means. The portion sizes were extremely small 2oz to be exact according to the manager. The beans were bland and it literally tasted like the food had absolutely no seasoning what so ever. It was a complete waste of 9$. Needless to say we will not ever go back. It's sad because we wanted to enjoy Torchy's. We really did. read more

This new hipster taco and burrito joint was packed. I waiting in line for 20 minutes. I ordered a green chili pork taco and a pork burrito. Even though the burrito cost more than twice as much it had less meat than the taco. Surprising. The taco was okay. Not much to it. Just meat and a bit of garnish. It was double wrapped in a rudimentary corn tortilla. No toasting here. Definitely not street tacos, a bit dry and not very tasty. Plenty of meat though. The burrito was a total disaster. To call it a pork burrito is a misrepresentation. A better description would be "essence of pork" burrito. Not much meat here. The refried beans and rice dominated this bland concoction. I hated it. The salsas were nice. I do wish they had a salsa bar. Then and only then, the pork burrito would of had a fighting chance of meeting my taste requirements. I'm saying the food was bland. Maybe I'll be back for a taco or two in the future. I'll have to ask for some extra salsa to add some Mexican flavor and pizazz. By the way, I did ask the server for some extra salsa but she wasn't to be seen for the rest of my visit. Too bad for me. read more

This is one of my family's go-to restaurants for amazing food for a great price. My husband and kids love the trailer park tacos with the spicy ranch based sauce, but my favorite is the Baja shrimp taco with the chipotle ranch sauce. They're both awesome and make my taste buds sooooooo happy. We also love the chips and queso, which is undeniably the best queso of any restaurant in town. We also love the Maine Root brand sodas in the soda fountain; Mexicola is just so sooooo great and the root beer is my kids' favorite. I've had the Democrat taco before, and thought it was just okay (it may have been better with one of the ranch based sauces rather than the salsa it came with). I really like the dining atmosphere at this new location, and I like the parking setup better than the location on Rosedale. But I would say the service is a bit better at the Rosedale location. But both locations have the same great food. read more

Slow, incoherent service. First, when the server came by, she only brought one person's food, and took the tracking device. I was thinking she was going back for my order, but then I saw her up at the cashier talking to friends, or so it appeared. After 5 minutes or so, I went up to the cashier and politely asked if I could also get the food I paid for. The cashier asked me where I was sitting, took my receipt and disappeared into the kitchen. The other cashier said cashier #1 would bring me my food. When I got my food, it was pretty cold, like it had been sitting out somewhere. In fear of not getting any food back as I didn't have my receipt any longer, I ate the tacos. Cold tacos are okay, but not great. Also, the floors were pretty dirty with flotsam and detritus everywhere. The booth we sat in was wiped down, but the bench seats weren't. I didn't want to look under the table. They did have an employee with a broom and dustbin, but the broom looked like it had seen better days and was only partially effective. To their credit, the employee was diligent and persistent. I should have given him the tip.... I won't be going back to Torchy's. They lost a good paying (and tipping) customer last night. read more

I didn't know salt had an expiration date, but that's the only reason I can think of for how much was in the food. They had a load of salt & needed to use it up. Mr. Orange literally tasted like the salmon was crusted with salt before they put it on the grill. The chips must've had a pound of salt dumped in the bag. Had I been dining in, this garbage would've gone back. Instead it landed in my garbage. At least I won't have to worry about strays getting in to the trash when it goes to the curb. read more

Just had 2 tacos from Torchys on Hulen, that i picked up for a to go order. I am disappointed, because both tacos were cold, from a refrigerator. I guess I did not know that Torchy's tacos did this. I just assumed the were made to order and not premade and put in a fridge. The restaurant was very busy this day so I'll give that to them but me and my friends who are 18/19 years old order 3 tacos and waited over an hour and a half for them. People who ordered after us got their food first too. Our buzzer never went off and the only kind soul to save us was the janitor. THE JANITOR!!!! Like seriously ?! We were sitting there for soooo long that even he noticed and he personally brought our food to us and we got reimbursed with free taco cards but still that was ridiculous....
