I'm so glad I found this locally owned, lovely establishment. The food is nothing short of excellent. I had the enchiladas Blancas. The chicken Tinga was the best I've had ever anywhere and I eat chicken Tinga a lot!! This salsa is delicious and fresh... as are the chips. The service is quick attentive, but not overbearing. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. I can't wait to come back and try their seafood! So glad to know this local, family, fresh option is available. This is not your typically decorated Mexican restaurant, but the food is. It has more of an upscale look inside. No painted carved tables and chairs. It's also a quite large space. Outside there are beautiful plants on either side of their sign, along the front of the building, and just outside the door a very large pot filled with hibiscus. Lovely. The staff is very nice and was attentive throughout my visit. I was there for lunch. The chips and salsa were very nice. I had a chimichanga that was covered in luscious cheese dip. There were also refried beans and lettuce salad on the plate. It was all very tasty. If I'm in the area again I would give them another try. read more

Gave them another try and I liked what I ordered much better! We actually have been there several times now cause it's just up the road from us. We have taken family there as well. Everyone enjoys it, service has been great, always clean and it's well decorated, service is fast and food is delicious. I came here for the first time on Sunday and I had a wonderful time! Food prices were a little up there but I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and it was heavenly. The portion size was so big that I had to take some home. My husband ordered the taco salad instead of his usual ACP and he also said his was amazing. The drink menu was full of amazing, unique drinks that weren't expensive at all but I decided not to drink as I arrived around 12pm. Next time, though, I'll definitely be drinking! read more

8:06pm 07/01/2026 Takeout Order I came here to this place because it was recommended to me by multiple clients I had. After this first and last experience I would not return to this restaurant. Upon entering, I got stares and sized up by few employees (men) that wasn't even interested in helping me in the slightest,(sometimes I think it has something to do with being an African American male, I could be wrong). After a few short moments, I got greeted by a gentlemen that asked me if I was placing or picking up an order. He came back with my order and sent me on my way. Upon checking my order, I didn't receive any utensils or my drink (which was a milkshake). So I proceeded to look around to get assistance with my drink. I looked and attempt to ask two of the men for help but they just kept walking. Then a lady asked if I needed help with something and she proceeded to grab the same gentle who took my order. After bringing the milkshake in 2 minutes, I said thank you and left The minute I got home and opened my bag to get a better look of the food and started eating a little, I was highly disappointed, and pissed. Just from looking at it, how it was prep made me question the quality of the food. This tasted like the person who cooked this didn't put any effort or love into it, tasted as if they don't like cooking, just threw it on the plate and said "here, eat it" This meal was $32!! I was even considering leaving a tip, but was skeptical because I wanted to be sure the food and service was going to be great. The milkshake made this even worst! You can tell the person who made it just poured chocolate milk inside, add whip cream on top, a cherry, and crumbs of Oreo sitting on top of the whip cream. Not to mention, it was damn near warm. After doing some shopping at Tanger outlets for a few hours, my family and I were ready for dinner. I consulted with the Yelp app and found some options in the vicinity. We found Toros and decided to check it out. The staff were courteous but I wish our server would've been a bit more attentive. We waited some time just to get our drinks and had to wait a few more minutes to get a cold glass for my beer. There are numerous items to choose from. Their menu has quite a selection of dishes with different types of protein and side dishes too. I think the fried flounder w French fries was good, the tropical salmon was amazing and the quesabirrias were okay. Not a big fan of the consomé or the salsa for the chips. The place got packed right away but the restaurant is spacious. They also have a bar area in the patio, which they accommodated for a group of school grads. We have been Toros several times now, and they have always had terrific food and great service. Today was no exception. Brandon, our wait person, was on the ball, he was quick to answer every question, he accommodated our special requests, and was very attentive without being intrusive. Of course, the Mexican food here is absolutely delicious, and I have ordered many different dishes so far, from Chimichangas and Baja fish tacos, to fajitas. But, having loved the former Huey's Oyster Bar that was in this location, I'm glad that Toros has kept a few of their favorites in a section of the menu called, Huey's Corner. I ordered fried oysters today. Good fried oysters are hard to come by around here and these are among the best I've ever had. I also asked for a small side salad that wasn't on the menu, and they brought me a lovely salad plate. My partner ordered the flautas and asked for avocados to be added to the salad that came with them. The chicken in his flautas was beautifully flavored and the wrappings were very crisp like ones we've had in Mexico. We've loved everything we've gotten here, from the complimentary warm tortilla chips and salsa to the fantastic meals. Highly recommend. read more

Taco Loco was swimming in liquid. Hardly any lettuce. Asked for ranch since it is a salad and ranch is $2.50 extra. Waiter never filled drink until finished with meal. Music was blaring. They did have a good sanitation grade. It was $65 for 2 people. Just regular Mexican food. read more

I have been frequenting this establishment since it opened and usually the food was good but on my recent visit the food was not good. I ordered the T-bone steak prepared medium well done and it was very difficult to cut into let alone eat. Thankfully the manager not the waiter was able to not charge me for the steak.
