Although my previous 3 star review of this place, i still think its a decent place to come so from time to time I would still come but it is just not a 5 star boba shop overall including services. And trust me, i have been to hundreds if not thousands of boba shop including international. This time around, I went there to order a popcorn milk tea as usual without ice. First they came out having ice in there...fine little mistakes , no biggie. I told them about it and the server apologized and took it in for people inside to change it. Good service right there. Now when it came back out, the cup is wet and i saw a chuck of ice was gone...AND milk tea ( not sure if the wetness if the cup is water or milk tea ) but regardless #1 they didnt even give an effort to clean or wipe down the cup for me after taking out the ice #2 they obviously didnt refill any milk tea back #3 the main reason for me not having ice was i dont want my milk tea to be water down by ice overtime and it was there with ice for a few minutes, im sure it watered down some so they didnt even bother to fill back the missing tea. Come on torotea, your shop is already overhype in the beginning but you cannot even do some common sense basic service now?
Had to make my 1000th review count, so naturally I chose Torotea, the place that keeps my tea addiction thriving. I usually hit their San Marino spot, but this location still delivered the goods. The shop's a bit small inside, but service was nice. Grabbed my ride-or-die Koan-Im Oolong Latte and paired it with a donut from my favorite donut shop like I was assembling the perfect duo for a late night snack. The tea was lightly sweetened perfectly to my liking, smooth, and clearly crafted by someone who respects tea leaves more than I respect my sleep schedule. The cloud top was basically dalgona candy foam and felt like a bonus dessert after finishing the drink. Even with a lot of people waiing, service moved fast, in & out in about 7 mins. Quality tea, speedy service, and enough creamy foam happiness to make a milestone review feel deserved!! Highly recommend!!! Now for some poetry that's inspired my 1000th review: Warm glazed memories sift through my reverie. A pink box opened in the summer of 24. Days were bleak and hollow like a bakery shelf at closing. I saw the saddest eyes, soft as powdered sugar falling. Sweet like a dalgona cloud top koan-im oolong latte, but carrying a quiet ache no frosting could hide. That summer you saved me, like the first bite of something new when you thought you'd forgotten what butterflies felt like. The season changed and you suddenly disappeared.... just an empty pink box on the counter. Only crumbs remain now, where your strawberry-glazed humor used to melt into every moment like sugar on warm dough. My heart split like a jelly donut. Still, I'm grateful as the world is as it should be. I pass by the donut shop on 66 and smile. People think it's just about donuts. But once.... a long time ago, one saved my life. Děkuju, na shledanou, měj se via.
High quality tea shop near the DB post office. Located in a shopping center with good parking available. Inside you'll find a nice seating/waiting area with a kind of South western decor - kind of like Sedona AZ. Server is very friendly and welcoming. The drinks here seem to be better quality than other places. The drinks have a good tea flavor as the base. We had the Dalgona Cloud Top Kian-im Oolong Latte and the Ember Milktea with barley Jelly. Both were very good, with the Dalgona being more on the sweeter side. The drinks here high quality and creative.
It's been a while since I've been here. Decided to make a pit stop on a Friday afternoon since it was traffic. It's just as I remembered it. It has such a chill and modern vibe. You can find there menu on a projected screen facing the wall where you order (which can be hard to see once you walk in). There is also a menu up against the walk where the self ordering kiosks are (but doesn't seem to be working). I ordered the popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi and tried the jasmine matcha latte. The popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi was just as I remembered it. It was delicious. Nice and toasty, just like popcorn. You get that milk tea taste as well. And the brown sugar tapiochi balances the toasty flavor you get from the popcorn. The jasmine matcha latte tasted like straight up matcha. Didn't really get any taste if the jasmine. But I guess that's cos matcha is such a strong flavor. I wish they had an option for light ice cos it seemed like the drinks were full of ice. The guy who took my order was nice. Received great service from him. He was very friendly. As well as knowledgeable about the menu when I asked for drink recommendations.
4.5 stars : I understand why I've been hearing about Torotea more lately. They do have different flavors with unique additions. Tried the Ember tea with Barley "boba." It really reminds me of grass jelly, but with a lighter taste - very nice. Also tried the Dalgona tea with the cloud (Himalayan salt) and that one edged out the other as the favorite for me. You can tell they're using good quality ingredients. Came on Sunday afternoon and there was no line, although plenty of people came in and out - popular place! It seems like it's more of a "to-go" place since there are no tables. But there is a "bench" along the walls for people to sit as they wait for their orders. My go-to place is closer to home, but these flavors are unique and worth trying out. I need to try the popcorn tea - apparently that's a popular one.
The Tapiochi toppings are really good!! I really enjoy the bite it gives. I got the black tea tapiochi and it was a subtle flavor but the texture was super nice. The location has a few seating options and the worker at the cashier was really nice. It's in a plaza so there are parking options.
One of my current absolute favorites. Normally Milk Teas at my age aren't my go-to, but I'll always make the exception for Torotea. My favorite drink so far is the Koan-Im Oolong Milk Tea (Less Sweet & Regular Ice) w/Brown Sugar Tapioca Mochi. Just the right amount of floral notes & roasted flavor without being too sweet & the brown sugar mochi texture has all the best part about grass jelly & boba all in one. Regular Ice is also just enough ice so that your drink stays refreshingly cold & I actually end up with no leftover ice normally. Parking isn't too bad, vibe is super relaxed, sort of spa vibe with relaxed lighting. Whenever I'm somewhat close, I always drop by for a quick boba! I'm excited for the OC locations later this year/next!
A Unique Experience, But Not Quite Worth the Return This place has been around for a while, but I never visited because the signage outside gives absolutely no indication that it's a bubble tea shop. I only stopped in after a friend's recommendation. Walking in, the music is blasting at a level that's honestly hard on your ears. That said, the interior decor is quite distinctive and has a cozy, comfortable vibe. One thing that surprised me -- and not in a good way -- is that they still use manual ordering instead of the screen-based ordering systems most modern boba shops have adopted. It feels a bit behind the times. Now, the drink itself: the first sip is genuinely impressive. The milk flavor is rich and pronounced, the jelly pieces inside are delicious, and there's a creamy top layer that adds a lovely aroma. It's not overly sweet either, which I appreciated -- for many Asian customers, the sweetness level felt just right. However, the downsides are hard to ignore. There is no customization -- you cannot request less ice or adjust your sugar level, which is pretty standard at most boba shops today. The cup is tiny, roughly the size of a Starbucks short, yet costs over $7. To make matters worse, about half the cup is ice and the rest is mostly milk. After that amazing first sip, the drink starts to feel heavy and cloying. Another frustration: the cream clings to the sides of the cup, making it nearly impossible to enjoy fully. I actually had to pour a separate cup of milk at home just to rinse out the remaining cream -- which felt wasteful. There are also no photos on the menu, so you have no idea what you're ordering before it arrives. Overall, the value just doesn't hold up compared to other options -- like the boba shop inside H Mart, where you can customize your drink and actually see what you're getting. I likely won't be coming back.
I had heard about Torotea a while ago on TikTok but i knew that it could get pretty packed so i hadn't had the chance to check it out. But last night while in the area i saw they were open late and decided to check it out . Even at 10 pm there was still a huge crowd outside and in. Inside there isn't much seating and it's pretty small but it has a really clean and chic vibe. They had free sample of oolong tea to try and it was really tasty and refreshing. I decided to order the Popcorn milk tea which is their most popular and i was pleasantly surprised. It did smell like butter and had a hint of buttery taste but overall it was really light and refreshing. It also had tapioca squares which were really good. Overall one of the best milk teas I've had and i will be going back for sure.
My family and I have been here multiple times so this review is long overdue. We visited after Soccer practice on a Monday around 7pm yelp live wait under 5 mins so I didn't check in actually pulled up no wait party of 5. We personally love the Osmanthus tea perfectly sweet with ice add the osmanthus jelly or passion fruit jelly either you can't go wrong! Love how this tea is caffeine free! Popcorn milk tea is also yummy you will certainly enjoy! My niece got the Crème brulee and she enjoyed that she said it was creamy thick and delicious! Employees are super nice and welcoming! Love the vibe inside! Highly recommend Torotea! It will not disappoint friends! Price is on higher side but worth it!
Talk about aesthetics Did this just secure a spot in my top faves? Yes... yes it did. As a night shifter, late-night cravings are REAL -- so finding a spot that's actually open late? Elite behavior. Sometimes I need my matcha at 8pm and I'm not apologizing for it Tried their Matcha Einspänner and it was a total hit & creamy, bold, and exactly what I needed. I was recommended to try this place by a couple of my friends so I came around opening! There was already a couple people waiting but the service was pretty fast! Theres no tables and very minimal seating inside. Parking lot outside is free, but small lot! I got the cassia milk to w brown sugar tapiochi with 25% sweet and it was p good! I enjoyed the texture and flavor of the drink overall, but I still found it to be really sweet. Overall it tasted more like a dessert and not super tea forward. It was still really delicious and I would come back when im looking for something sweet!

Popcorn tea is the best!!! Omg, I am obsessed with this place. Each jelly tastes so good and I really would like to try everything on the menu if I lived closer. The only downside is that the price is a little high for the amount you get. However, I always still buy when I am in town because it is addicting. Heads up, the line can be very long wait, especially on weekends. I suggest to buy via app much in advance, atleast a half hour. Parking can be limited. Not great for date as it is usually crowded, but great to bring to a date for an outstanding and unique flavor drink. read more
When my friend and I got there, parking and ordering was easy, however when we were leaving, the lot was very busy and the line went out the door. It seems like you have to find the right time to go if you want to avoid the rush. I was curious about the craze about the popcorn milk tea. I thought it was good, but not amazing. I think I enjoyed the tea they were sampling more, which I believe was the Uva. Now that I've had it, I don't think I feel the need to return. It's a little pricey for what it is as well. It was cutely decorated inside, but hard to find a place to sit or stand. We had to wait a little until we could sit and enjoy our tea. read more
Last time I went here, I honestly don't remember what i ordered- but it wasn't life changing lol (something like a milk tea) But I gave Torotea a few more chances with different drinks and boy I'm so glad I did! The crème brûlée drink is soo yummmmy!!! The picture is from the chino hills location- Drinks are consistent no matter where you go! However I had to dock a point since this location is waitlist based (I think I waited 30mins) and chino hills location got my drink out very fast~ read more

12/8/25 - I got the Popcorn Milktea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi ($7.60 before tax) since it is the drink they are most known for. The tea tasted like caramel popcorn and not in an overwhelmingly sugary way. What stood out to me most was the tapiochi! The tapiochi looked like your typical jelly topping but was firmer and had more chewiness. I also like how it was already cut into cubes, since other places will just put a chunk of jelly in the drink and I have to stab with my straw to break it up. Overall the flavor was good! In general I don't think boba should cost $8+ but it seems like prices will just keep going up and getting too expensive everywhere. There is no outdoor seating, very limited indoor seating, and no tables so it would not be a good place to study or do work. If its not too busy inside it can be a good place to just hang out/catch up with friends. read more
People come here to order their signature drink, popcorn milk tea, and so did I. It tasted very strange at first, yet very flavorful and enjoyable. I love the topping jelly. It tasted like no other jelly that I had tried at other boba stores. The prices are higher than other milk tea places, but the quality of the teas is much better. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for good milk tea. I think they successfully created a very unique drink that ties to their business. When I think of Torotea, I think of popcorn milk tea. read more

I absolutely love Torotea. Not only is the interior so unique and cozy but their drinks are amazing. I always add my name to the waitlist before I get there as it can be a 15-20 min wait at minimum. When you get there check in with the staff at the door close to your time, we went when we were 4th in line. They always have samples available and this time it was a bamboo jasmine oolong I believe. The drink was so good I ended up ordering it with their brown sugar jellies. My boyfriend is obsessed with the crème brulee drink. We went on Valentine's Day so they had a little strawberry on top. The cashier was very bubbly and outgoing and made the experience a good one as always. read more
Finally visited after eating dinner near by and their drinks met my expectations. Line was manageable on a Sunday night an hour before closing. When I first walked in, I thought I accidentally walked into a speakeasy. Toro's aesthetic is definitely hip with its chic seating and cozy cave like waiting area. Don't get me started on their menu that's projected onto the wall. Wowow their various tapioca mochi jellies are an absolute treat. Since it was my first visit, I had to get their infamous popcorn milk tea. They had samples of their fireee Manor milk tea and still thinking about that tea quality hours later. Popcorn milk tea tasted exactly how I thought it would -- caramelized, buttery notes with quality black tea and milk with each sip. A unique milk tea for sure. Their jade oolong was a miss for me sadly and why did I randomly taste a hint of banana?! People have compared this to Orobae (rest in peace).. but Toro has paved its own way into the SoCal milk tea scene and into my cold heart. read more

I've been disappointed by so many new boba places recently that Torotea pleasantly surprised me. It's not often that I would be willing to cheat on one of my regular spots but I would just to come here again. Torotea has their own unique rendition of boba called tapiochi. The Brown Sugar Tapiochi had a soft but subtle bite to it but I actually liked my friend's Black Tea Tapiochi more as it felt more unique! The drinks were tea forward which I prefer and weren't too sweet! (big praise coming from an Asian) The staff were really nice and offered us samples and stickers. The interior was super cool and I liked the aesthetic they were going for! I definitely want to come back and try some of their fruit teas :) pro tip: you can join ahead on their "waitlist" since it might get busy esp on the weekends read more
What a unique set of flavors! This isn't my first time at torotea, but it sure is my first time at the diamond bar location. When we first arrive, we were required to join a waitlist through yelp due to max capacity. After 5-10 mins, we were allowed in to order. We ordered 4 drinks, and to be honest, they did take a while for these drinks to come out, but some were super delicious there's not a lot of tables, and definitely not somewhere you'd wanna study at, but the aesthetics are really nice, especially for pictures. Here's my personal rating for each drinks: Jasmine oolong milk tea [5/10]: it was alright, there's nothing special I really like about this drink. Not too sweet, but not too bland either. There's definitely better jasmine out there. Matcha Einspanner [4/10]: I'm a little bias because I do have a bit of a sweet tooth. This matcha tasted ok, but like the jasmine, there's better matcha einspanner out there. Popcorn milk tea [7/10]: it definitely got me some time to get used to, but once you get to the tapiochi, it really elevates the flavors of this drink. Tastes like caramel popcorn Crème brûlée ice milk [8/10]: really creamy! Definitely my top out of all the drinks. Very sweet and very non-lactose intolerant friendly. Torotea is such a cute boba shop. The employees are all really nice and welcoming. It was my first time here so I asked for some suggestions I got the roasted barley tea and the mulberry oolong with Osmanthus Jelly. Both drinks were so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. One of the employees, Ian was very nice and had us taste our drinks before walking out to make sure we liked them. Definitely coming back here. read more

Torotea has become one of my go-to's for high quality tea and unique drink offerings! This location is pretty small with limited seating. Parking is not a problem though. The inside is warm, cozy and almost cave like. The service is always super friendly and they usually offer samples of new teas that they've dropped. My usual drink here is the Koan-Im Oolong Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapioca Mochi. Koan-Im 10/10 - A perfect drink in my eyes. As someone who loves oolong milk tea, I think torotea has the best one I've tried. It has a great balance of sweetness without compromising the roasted, tea flavor of the oolong. Other places skew one way, but this one is a great blend of both. The brown sugar tapioca mochi is also super addicting with bouncy chew and brown sugar sweetness. I highly recommend checking out Torotea! They've got high quality tea with unique flavors and offerings that are different from your typical boba shop. read more

I was in Socal for Halloween and after lunch, my friends and I wanted some boba. We were recommended to try this boba spot. Wow! The inside of this shop was so aesthetically pleasing to me. I loved it! The customer service was great too. The workers all seemed happy and offered us samples. I went with the Popcorn Milk Tea because where else am I going to find this?! I have never seen Popcorn Milk Tea anywhere! I thought it was pretty good and unique. All of my friends tried it and all of us had different reactions. Some thought it wasn't bad, some thought it was subtle and some thought it was too much and it wasn't for them. For me, I thought it was subtle and a unique flavor so I didn't mind it. I would totally come back if I was in the area. read more
We ordered Popcorn milktea and Osmanthus Citrus Refresher and both of them are worth to try. I really like the creamy taste of popcorn milktea - it does taste like popcorn! And the osmanthus citrus is much more than I expected. I love that they compliment the drinks with different types of tea jelly, and no boba (i'm not a boba person). Overally, definitely I will come back again for their drinks since it's different from other stores and it's not too sweet! Also, the store is quite small and you might have to wait for a long time since they have a long line (better to order online and pick up), but have to give a big shout out to the interior design! read more
Got lucky and went on a weekday when there wasn't a wait. I do love that there's an online waitlist option though so you don't have to go and physically stand in line if there happen to be a lot of otrher people trying to go at the same time. The online waitlist also has a pretty large radius which is nice. Pretty small shop but it feels very clean and there's very limited seating Creme brulee ice milk: 5/5 this is my fav drink there and is def sweeter than most of the other drinks. I like to mix the foam in fully before drinking but that's just personal preference read more

Yummy!!! I heard about this place from friends so I wanted to check it out. I was eating at a nearby restaurant and added myself to the waitlist from that place. This option is very convenient btw since I hear that wait times can be very long. This is in a busy strip mall but there was ample parking and it wasn't too difficult to park. The shop is very cute. Minimalistic vibe with neutral and muted tones. The server was friendly and informative. She answered all my questions about their drinks. We ended up getting an iced cassia and an iced popcorn milk tea with their special mochi jelly. I was told that their drinks are very tea forward. It was perfect. Nice and creamy and the mochi jelly was delicious. It's hard to pick a drink there because they don't really come with descriptions so I am curious to try more drinks and learn more about what they have to offer so I can check out others. Looking forward to coming back and trying more. read more
My cousin suggested this place. Never had to join a waitlist to order boba...lol. When we signed up, it was about a 30-40 min wait and it was near closing time around 9pm ish. You cant just walk in so we waited for a text to let us know it was "our turn." Walked in to order and took another 20min to get our drinks. So...this spot was "mid" as the SoCal people would say lol. Tried the Popcorn Milk Tea supposedly one of their best sellers but it wasn't my cup of tea. You could taste the buttery popcorn flavor but it didn't taste good as a milk tea imo. I will say the brown sugar tapiochi was good/unique (tapioca mochi) bc we don't have that topping option in our boba shops in NorCal but all and all, not worth the wait. read more

I love boba spots that focus on unique and high quality teas! So glad they're expanding and have a yelp waitlist you can check into online. Their mochi-like boba topping is really fun texture wise and has more chew than Sunright's mochi topping. Definitely one of my go to spots! read more
At the top of my list for fresh teas. I've visited both locations in So Ca. but this is their original location and closer to my residence. Located in a strip center where parking is complimentary. The servers here are welcoming and friendly. This location is modern and has ample seating if you feel like enjoying your beverage in house. Last visit here I tried the Calamasi Oolong Twist at 50% sweetness which was refreshing and tasty. I'll certainly return to Torotea at either location in Diamond Bar or San Marino. read more

I've tried to come to Torotea a few times before, but every time, the waitlist was too long or it was closed for the night. The waitlist was like 30+ people long on a Sunday afternoon-- I was SHOCKED. We thought there would be an alternative in-person queue or something, but there isn't, so better to wait from the comfort of your own home (there is someone that stands outside and will not let you in until you are at the front of the waitlist). While inside, the experience was great!! The baristas are very knowledgeable about the drinks and are welcoming to any questions about the menu. They also have samples available before you order! They are known for their toppings, which are jellies/mochi that are made in-house. I thought the teas were nice and fragrant, tasting of great quality, and paired really nicely with the unique toppings! We tried the Popcorn Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi, Mulberry Oolong with Osmanthus Jelly, and the Bamboo Jade Oolong Milk Tea (that they were sampling) with the Barley Jelly. All drinks were great, and the Mulberry was also a really nice fruity drink! I thought they were all really great, but I felt like the drinks didn't justify the hour wait for a drink. read more
Finally got around to trying Torotea after hearing all the hype about it! I came on a Thursday afternoon and there were only 2 parties ahead in line - drinks were ready within 5-7 minutes after placing the order. It looks like there were two ordering pads on the side of the left wall upon walking in but they weren't not available when I went in. Only one cashier available to take your order otherwise. Limited seating available inside. Ordered the Popcorn Milk Tea with Tapiochi (Tapioca Mochi, $6.95), Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea ($6.25), and Jasmine Matcha Latte ($6.95). Though the popcorn milk tea was a speciality and all the rave, I wasn't a fan as it reminded me of the popcorn jelly bean flavor; unique but not for me. I enjoyed the jasmine matcha as its a but different than the standard Jasmine milk tea I usually order at other boba shops. The floral jasmine flavor is strong but not overpowering. Located in a small strip mall with a shared parking lot. I didn't have any issues finding parking on the weekday, but I could see it being tough on the weekends. read more

Torotea definitely lives up the hype and reputation that they receive. I was able to find time to go to this location after driving by it many many times. I would hear wait times could get crazy on busy days. However, I came by during quick work break during a weekday and it wasn't packed at all. I tried their Gardenia Oolong Tea at a past Yelp event and wanted to see what the storefront had to offer. The staff here welcomes you immediately and offers up samples to try. The zesty oolong was a delicious sample. The location is very chill and relaxing. There are few seating and tables. Also commentary water. The staff here was very knowledgeable and answered the questions I had about the to go bottles of Gardenia tea. Apparently, they sell them for $8, but have limited supply sometimes. I ordered the Blossom Black Tea and it was ready in few minutes. First sip was impressive! Great balance of flavors. The first amount of sweet and just enough caffeine from the black tea to give me a pick me up. I'd order that one again. Overall, the ambiance is a nice place to cooldown and have some tea to wind down. I'd definitely return to try another drink since the menu is expansive. Thanks, Torotea DB! read more

Toro Tea is a small bubble tea shop in the Diamond Bar area. We were heading to a wedding up north, so my wife found it on Yelp, and our friends who used to live in the area said it was really good, particularly their tea. I've had enough bubble tea to say that I couldn't really distinguish between good and great tease at this point. We ordered five of their drinks to try different options as you can't really add tapiochi to drinks that don't already come with it. We ordered ahead on the app (definitely do this) to save time, and the drinks were ready shortly after we arrived. There were already lots of people waiting inside and even more came as we were leaving. By the time we pulled out of the parking lot, there were people waiting outside as well! One sip of the tea and I agreed with my buddy's assessment. This IS next-level tea as the flavors were bold and really stood out. I'd ordered the Cassia tea not knowing what it was since it was one of the options with tapiochi, and it ended up not being a fav. My son took a sip and said it tasted "like beef jerky". :) Every other drink we ordered was really good! Could definitely see why there's a line here and why people wait for drinks. My eldest daugther and I were in the Diamond Bar area. First thought that came to my mind was let's get some Torotea. So happy to have come here for my 2nd visit. Yes, it's been almost one year since my 1st visit. Tip of the day, either get on their waitlist via Yelp or drive on over here and get on their waitlist via kiosk pad. I actually did not know about the former so we did the latter instead. Wait was not too long... maybe about 15-20 mins. We got 4 drinks... 1. Creme brulee ice milk + brown sugar tapiochi - Hands down one of my favorites! Thick layer of creme brulee. Smooth milk tea. Stir the creme brulee into the milk tea... you'll get the next level milk tea drink! So very good!! 2. Popcorn milk tea with black tea tapiochi - This is my daughter's favorite. She loves it! 3. Osmanthus refresher + osmanthus jelly - This one was surprisingly refreshing and delicious. I like this one a whole lot better than the Calamansi oolong twist. 4. Bamboo jade oolong milk tea + brown sugar tapiochi - This is their Diamond Bar local exclusive. It was decent. Not sure where the bamboo jade comes into play, but I can taste the oolong. Came here for the first time with a friend in an afternoon on a Saturday and didn't realize there's a waitlist on Yelp... we just heard of this place and decided to simply google map it. We didn't see a line outside but there was a staff outside. She was so nice and kind to let us in since it was just the two of us. We were thankful because we wouldn't have waited 20-30mins to order and wait for the drinks. It's not a big place and many were already inside waiting for their order. 4 hour wait for boba!?! Absolutely unbelievable. Drove up and lo and behold it was actually a 4 hour wait. Ended up ditching the line and coming back later at 10 PM on a Sunday and the wait time was 45 minutes. The teas are REALLY good - everything you'd want a good tea to be. Great balance of bitter and not too sweet letting the tea notes shine through. Fun and enticing flavor variety. I wish they sold boba. The jelly's were of good quality but didn't necessarily turn my head like how the tea did. Size was a little small... Would come here again because it was delicious but definitely not with the wait and a bit of a hassle to drive to diamond bar. read more

Went here with the grandkids. I'm not a big boba drinker, but I let my granddaughters talk me into going one Sunday afternoon. There was a considerable line, so we checked in and came back an hour later, since we live close by. One granddaughter had the macha, one had the crème brûlée, and I had the popcorn milk tea. We all tasted each others teas, and I have to say the crème brûlée was my favorite. Popcorn was next, and Macha my least favorite. All of them were good tho This is not really a place you wanna sit down and hang out in, in my opinion. Seating is limited, so in my mind it's more of a "to go" establishment. Service is quick and the employees are helpful if you know nothing about tea, like me. They will help you choose something to your liking. I kept hearing about this boba shop online and finally tried it with my friends! The location is in a small shopping plaza and it's a fairly small shop but you can see the aesthetics from the type of chairs they have to the minimal decorations. There was a bit of a lime but it went by so quickly and the staff was very friendly! I opted to try the popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi and my boyfriend tried the ember milk tea with barely jelly. Absolutely loved the popcorn milk tea! It has a nuanced flavor that really suits the tapiochi. The tapiochi is their "boba" I suppose, which was very fresh and light and could have it all day. The ember milk tea was okay to me, I found there was just one base flavor and it was too sweet without any adjustments. Keep in mind the drinks are a bit pricey, but I do believe they are worth it! read more

AMAZING TEA FLAVORS AND TOPPINGS! The flavors are very original! I'd say go for any of their specialty drinks and you won't be disappointed! The popcorn drink wasn't too overly popcorn flavor but instead was rich and sweet. I honestly thought it would taste artificial but it was anything but that! It had strong brown sugar flavor from the topping and tea flavor with richness! Would highly recommend! read more

Honestly, idk why i haven't reviewed torotea because I'm here every single weekend lol I think i was on a matcha craze when i stumbled upon the location on yelp. I've tried practically everything on the menu but their black teas since I'm more of a milk tea girl. I'm not a huge boba fan, so the jelly just hits different! It's not super sweet and it doesn't upset my stomach (hot girls have sensitive stomachs obviously lol) but man everything here is so good. Their cream tops are top tier, i usually get the Himalayan salt cloud top or their creme brûlée top. I will say the Bamboo milk tea is my favorite with them and so is their osmanthus refresher if you can't handle caffeine well like me. I don't think their matcha gets the craze it deserved because honestly it's top tier! All the jelly's are good so any option you get will be good. The location is small, so i highly recommend you order online if you're not trying to wait. Sometimes they have yelp check in as well so it helps. I will say the inside decorations have a very nice aesthetic feel to it, but this place gets super packed so come on a day you have time ! They are opening a chino hills location soon to help with the congestion they have here. Hope this place comes over to the rancho area soon so i get to save myself a drive. Overall is a 11/10 for me other boba places don't hit the same anymore :) read more
