Their in store selection is also smaller which leads to this being a generally poor shopping experience when I can get a wider variety of products to choose from and far more enthusiastic team members on the floor to help me out. read more

This is my fav Torrid location!!!! The girls working are always so sweet, helpful and not rushing customers. While this store tends to be "smaller" than some other stores, they can always order items for you free or charge. I like this location because to me, it's a bit more "hidden" since it's in the Saratoga strip mall. It isn't a stand alone store like Coleman for example. I just bought some super cute wide leg flowy pants from here! The sizes are as small as 00 (size 10). I had to return a few work tops and never have issues: they can look up your account with your phone number. One of my items was about a month past the return policy (oops! Was on my car and I forgot). They let me grab something else and use store credit for the item I was out of policy on. Love them! read more

I entered the store being greeted by someone from the registers and to my surprise, she WASN'T WEARING A MASK! I did a double-take to make sure and she didn't have one on (pictured). I looked and the other employee was wearing theirs. Additionally, they had a repair man in the backroom area that occasionally came out to talk to them and she STILL didn't put it on! The only reason I know her name is because she was on the phone and introducing herself. ONLY did she put a mask on when I was on her third of the store! I tend to shop at the Coleman location but today I happened to be near the Saratoga area and decided to pay my bill. To my surprise, my favorite Torrid gal was working!!! Torrid is MY store. Income in at least 6-7 times a year! This location has a great selection and the customer service is excellent. Clothes from sizes 10-30. All modern and up to date. Not like a lot of plus size stores that sell older styles. They have everything from lingerie to work-out gear, and casual, professional and club wear. They also have a decent selection of shoes, sandals and boots. All made for plus size women. Their sandals are soooo comfortable with nice, cushioned soles that feel great when you walk. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for plus size clothing. read more

I enjoy this location because I feel like it's larger than the other stores and it also helps that the people that work there are all really great at what they do. I went in about a week ago and found some pants I loved to go along with the business wear deal they have going on, I couldn't find any that were my size so they ordered them to the store and made sure I still got the buy 2 get 1 deal. I went to pick up the pants today and Madison and Emma were working, they were there last time I came in as well. Always super helpful, they even helped me pick a top to go with the pants I was picking up. They definitely add to the reason I like to shop at this location. I don't even live in this state but find myself in the area from time to time and always have a successful shopping trip at this particular location. The rest of the mall is underwhelming but I make the trip for this Torrid. It's super clean and well laid out, and the ladies working here are always so nice. I'm always able to find what I'm looking for (and more ) and they're always willing to let me compare the sales/coups to save the most money. The fitting rooms are clean and spacious. They have fans which is a blessing I never previously considered and, let's face it, trying on a mountain of clothes can be a sweaty process. The lighting is also dreamy for sending cute selfies to your friends of all the outfits you're buying. Love! read more

This review is long overdue. As a plus size person, it has become quite difficult to find nice options for clothing. The Lane Bryant closed and Nordstrom removed their plus size section. Dress Barn and Avenue closed. I was thrilled to find Torrid several years ago. This store is a pleasure to shop in. They are always friendly, clean, and organized. You can take your time to shop around, and the dressing rooms are always clean. They even have fans on during the summer if you are hot. By far, the most special part of this store is the employee named Jessica. Everyone there has been kind and helpful, but Jessica goes above and beyond. She is a fashion goddess. I came in trying to figure out what to pair with a dress. Jessica put me in a dressing room and ran back and forth getting me options. Never in my life have I had someone with that kind of skill put me in clothes that make me feel terrific. She took me out of my comfort zone which was so needed. I tend to dress too conservatively. She's fantastic with color, fit, style, and body positivity. I'm almost afraid to post this review because I know this is such a wonderful thing that the store will now be super crowded. Thank you for having a store that includes all bodies. And thank you Jessica for giving me such confidence. BTW, this woman doesn't even work on commission. The store itself is very nice and not high traffic like a lot of other locations. One of the more experienced staff was friendly and helpful, and I have a feeling that other members are new/young, so they are still getting their confidence or bearings. Every time I come in I am greeted by very kind and helpful associates. Makes me feel comfortable. Always love Torrid's selections and offerings (albeit a bit pricey, not this store's fault of course). This store has a great layout, section, and comfortable changing room area. But on 9/26 I came in simply to browse and ended up getting to have conversation with associate Jessica. She was very friendly and informative. Eventually we got into conversation about bras, ended up getting me properly fitted, and I walked away with 2 brand new bras (also some of those combined discounts are awesome!). My life wearing bras has drastically changed, all thanks to Jessica taking the time to fit me. She even helped adjust my bra in the fitting room, gave me different options, and walked me through the sizes. The whole time I felt so comfortable and helped, not as simply a sale, but feeling like she truly cared about helping me. I love the feel of this store, soon as you walk in you feel pretty! Lol this place is great! I love the styles they have, but their sizing doesn't always work out for me.. I wish their 00 size would run just a bit smaller. Their jewelry and accessories are a must have, and although their clothes are pricier than most other plus size clothes I would buy, it is definitely worth it, style wise and quality you get what you pay for. Holly approached me when I was shopping for my girlfriend. I gave her some examples of the style my girlfriend was into, and not only did was she able to give me a plethora of good choices to choose from, but she was even able to quickly procure the correct sizes for everything. It is difficult for me to find knee high boots that fit my calves. I read on an online forum that torrid sold wide calf boots. I was excited to shop because they have some cute clothing and I didn't realize that I could also fit into their clothing even though I'm not a plus size. I decided to give them a try and ordered a pair of knee high boots and a pair of leggings. Little did I know, I was making a HUGE MISTAKE. I placed my order on the 12th and received an email three days later. I thought it would be to advise me that my order had shipped. It wasn't. It was to tell me that they removed an item from my order. No explanation as to why and still no refund in my account to this day. I assumed this was why my order was taking so long. I waited 2 additional days (now 5 days since my order was placed) and the order was still processing. I emailed to inquire about the delay. I received an auto generated email stating that I would get a personal response. Instead, I received an email that they generated a shipping label for my order that will be shipping from TN. No explanation or apology for the delay, just an arbitrary tracking code for a shipment that still hasn't shipped a week after the order was placed. I've placed orders outside the country that haven't taken this long to arrive yet alone ship. Called the customer service number and the rep I spoke with was more diplomatic about the situation than the manager. I was told that my order still has 3 days to arrive and offered a $10 reward for my inconvenience after going back and forth with the supervisor. My shipment is still waiting to leave the facility a week after ordering. Shopping with Torrid has been a terrible experience and I would never recommend them to anyone I know based on my first order. read more
