Tortas are pretty good here but the service is soooo bad. We asked for drinks and it was busy and waited 20 minutes just to order. We never got our drinks until they finally served our food. Came here for the refreshments. They have a huge selection of fruit juices from horchata, strawberry, tamarind, watermelon, cantaloupe, and more. I recommend the horchata or strawberry drinks. The strawberry is on a sweeter side than the horchata, but you can request to make it less sweet. I had ordered the large strawberry and it was delicious. read more

In a very good way. The place is bright, clean and open with lots of seating. They have menus in both Spanish and English. They also have fresh juices. So how was the name sake? My torta was delicious. The bread was especially yummy. I opted for marinated pork and avocado. I asked for beans as well and they happily added them. The veggies on top, tomato and lettuce, were crisp and fresh. I wish I had asked for cheese too then it would have been perfect. Their tortas come with house made potato chips, these were just meh. Some were crisp and some were not. I would of much rather had fresh made tortilla chips and salsa. They had pickled carrots, onions and jalapenos which were perfect! Nice and spicy and added just the right kick to my sandwich. I also ordered an Horchata and it was delicious, a little bit sweet but still good. It looks like they do quite a bit of business from just their juices alone and there were many to choose from I would go back just to try a few more. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. The place look clean and the ambiance was family friendly. We order to go, but would definitely go back and eat there. We order some carne asada sopes. Even though we had to eat them on the road, I have to tell you, they were hot and crunchy from outside and soft from the inside. There were two side salsas that made all the flavors blend together. Delicious Horchata and Tortas. Probably the best horchata i've ever had. We came here near closing time last night. A lot of cheesy decorations around the store. It's a pretty big spot. You can see the line of agua fresca's where they make in house. They had a large menu of different Tortas to order. Tortas are pretty much a Mexican sandwich. We went with the Fontana which came with asada, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado on a toasted bun. The horchata here is the stand out item. It's delicious! A strong cinnamon taste. This place is a great alternative to the boring sandwich shops on Harbor Blvd. A spicy torta sandwich was a great call and this is a great little find. The suggestions from the previous reviewers made my ordering easy. I started with the lemon aguas fresca and it was perfect. A carne asada soft taco was next. The beef was very flavorful and the tangy sauce, onions, cilantro and tortilla were all first rate. I can't remember the name of the torta but it had pork leg, chorizo and cheese. Very good combination and SUPER filling. I think they have great bread for the torta. Fontina - Carne Asada with guacamole and oaxaca cheese. My absolute favorite thing about TORTAS SINALOA (other than the pastor and shrimp tacos) is the piña water! Words cannot even begin to describe how fresh and sweetly delicious the waters are. I always try to stop by to pick one up when I'm in the area! Haven't tried the Tortas yet, but definitely planning to on my next time in. I did see that the Tortas are served with fresh cut potato chips. What a cool idea!! The place is cute and super clean inside. This is probably one of my favorite places in Santa Ana, the service is great and the food is delicious. I usually get the torta called "Insurgentes" which is so good and it comes with chips. The drink is separate, if you want an Horchata it does cost $6.50. I come here at least once a month because I crave it so much, luckily it's less than 3 minutes from my house. I used to love coming here, prices still reasonable, food was just ok, tortilla was still amazing. The food took a bit to get out maybe about 20 or more minutes and there were a total of 4 tables, that I'm ok with. What I am not ok is that our server took our waters and we didn't see her until the food arrived, then I couldn't eat my torta because although it was cut in half, the breaded steak wasn't cut, so I took 2 bites and when we saw our server again it was to bring the check we asked for to go boxes. I understand the service industry but don't expect a good tip which is 30 percent or more if you didn't provide good service. We were there for 1 hour and wanted lemons, salsa, extra tortilla, we wanted to order a bag of chips, and a torta to go but we really didn't have a chance because our server was within view but didn't approach our table.
