I made my reservation over the phone and a secretary charged $55 to hold the reservation. This cost…read moreis applied to any repairs made once the technician arrived. She would only give me a 3 hour window, but the technician called 30 min ahead and arrived on time after the call. The service vehicle and technician's card were actually for "Eco-Appliance Repair.com" which redirects to the website http://www.ecoappliancerepair.net It turned out the problem was that the unit was installed incorrectly. As there was no actual repair needed, he fixed the install and didn't charge beyond the reservation/arrival fee. He was organized, communicated clearly and acted in a professional manner. I give this business 4/5 stars because I think they could do better than a 3 hour window in a town as small as Lafayette and because there was no serious issue to put him to the test. I will probably call them again if I have another problem.

DON'T use these guys, as they subcontract the work and you have no way of knowing which company…read morewill actually show up to make the repair. The $59.99 "diagnostic" fee is supposed to be applied to the repair cost, but as the guy who just left my house describes it, it's a dispatch fee and the services are marked up by that amount to ensure that everyone in the chain gets paid. Although I'm happy with the work the repairman (who came up from the south Metro area) did, I'm angry that I was misled into paying $59.99 more for it to a middleman posing as a repair company. -_- Not cool. I was lied to, on the phone and on the paperwork.
