I went during the soft opening and they had a variety of cakes, savory bread, teas and coffee! I ordered the melon bread and mocha pastry pan bread to bring home and everyone loved it! Both of the bread was so good and tasty, it was gone in an instant. I'm definitely coming back when the business is in full swing! read more

Love this place because it is a great Asian bakery. Having moved here from CA, I am deprived of all the good bakeries like 85 degrees, Paris Baguette, Kee Wah, having at this here is good to me. We were driving around looking for something sweet to eat after a party and found this cute little bakery inside close a Boba place and an Asian supermarket. The prices here are good, and so are the sweets. We got here right at 8, when all the fresh breads made that day were half off. We got a doughnut and sweet potato bread and a cranberry cream bun-thing. The staff is very friendly, even after a long day's work. First of all, I am really huge fan of Asian Bakery (almost spend $80-$100 on breads and cakes whenever I go to either LA or Vegas). But I stop going both Paris Baguette and Tous les Jours once I found other bakery (85 degree) in LA. Anyway, when I visited this location at 10:30 am, almost nothing was ready. Only few pastries and cakes were out on the shelves. Asked one of the clerks why the racks are empty and she told me it is because it is before grand opening. After soft opening, everything would be ready every morning. I just got 6 korokkes, 2 red bean buns, and 2 milk bread and the total came out to be 23 dollars (if you are a Korean bakery lover, you should already know they are expensive especially on this fresh made breads). I am so glad that they opened in Mesa, AZ and no need to drive 6 hours to LA to buy them and drive back another 6 hours with dried breads. I know it is kinda hard for Korean business to grow in AZ since Korean community is small, but I hope they stay open FOREVER in AZ! read more

I really wanted to like this place and gave them a try numerous times but it's very hit or miss. Most of the time is a miss. Their cakes and sliced breads are really good but that's if you are lucky enough to get. I've been there all different hours in the morning but baked goods are rarely fully stocked and ready when they open. I don't even understand why they have open time at 7am. When I went early morning around 8am to get some of their sliced breads and none were ready. They told me that the bread is usually ready around 10:30am. So went back another day around 10:30am and still none ready. They told me that it's now ready at 11:30am. So then I returned another day at 11:30am and still none ready!!!!! They again told me that the bread will be ready at 12:30pm. It's like they constantly tell you different time depending on when you go and who you talk to. Their service is very inconsistent and product is never fully stocked. Very disappointed. read more

Over-charged with poor customer service. I came late when the pastries were buy-one-get-one free, which was a nice surprise. I bought two pastries that were $2.50 each and two that were $2.35 each. The total should be $4.85, right? Wrong, the cashier charged me $5.00. When I inquired her about it, she told me they charge for the more expensive items and discount the cheaper items. That makes no sense, yet she showed no sign of being apologetic. Seriously? It's not about the 15 cents, it's about the poor customer service. I've enjoyed much better service at other Tous Les Jours franchises, and unfortunately this one left a sour taste in my mouth. We will not be returning here. read more

This Parisian-style cafe is awesome! The assortments of different sweets will surely satisfy all sweet-teeth and bead-lovers alike. Cookies? Check. Donut-style twists? Check. Macarons? About 15 different flavors... fresh breads? double check. Cakes, fresh fruit tarts, so many tasty pastries, oh my! Seriously love this place & the menu isn't too pricey, either. Ranges from $2-4ea. for the pastries, which is nothing when comparing quality to quantity. Would recommend for the pastry experience. The place has gone downhill. I agree with reviewer Angel that the service was unwelcoming. I've been consistently having issues with this bakery that I've decided not to go back. During my recent two visits, my pastries were carelessly packed and squashed. I had inspected them before purchase and they were fine. When I got home and took them out, one pastry was squashed that it was almost flat and another had a huge thumb print in it. However, the final straw was during my final visit. I came 30 minutes after they opened and they didn't have anything, which was fine since I had to buy some groceries. After shopping, they still didn't have anything, so I waited since I could see the cashier hastily packing the breads and throwing them carelessly on the counter. She didn't greet me when I entered the bakery area or while I waited patiently. Then maybe 10 minutes later another customer comes in and gets greeted right away and helped. I was really angry at this point because I wanted to ask about the waiting time for specific pastries when she wasn't so busy. After she finished helping the second customer and checking her out, she went back to packing and ignored me again. I decided to stand at the cash register rather than the side like I was, and she still ignored me. I went near the kitchen and tried to directly get her attention and I was still ignored. After 30 to 40 minutes passed, another employee walked in and she immediately greeted her and started chatting with her. There was no way she didn't notice me standing in the bakery for 30 to 40 minutes. The second employee who walked in finally stopped chatting and helped me. When I finally was able to ask about certain pastries I wanted, she didn't even go to the kitchen and ask or see if they were ready and just said they weren't ready. I was so angry I just got what was available and a slice of ganache chocolate cake. But the worst of it was that she didn't bother washing her hands after entering the bakery and touched all my pastries with her unclean hands. The pastries were shoved in one small bag and everything was squashed again. The cake was dry and just not good. It was a waste of a 30 minute drive and ruined my only day off. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. The bread is always beautiful, tasty, and it has a level of quality I've rarely had with other places. I went there twice today. The first time to pick up a quick snack, not thinking that I'd fall in love. I went back later in the day and near everything that I saw earlier was gone. I took a gamble on the Thé and Milk bread. Took a few phone calls to coordinate but in the end they were able to help us customize two cream cakes ($34 each) with the inside cake pink/blue for our pregnancy gender reveal. My favorite bakery! Clean, polite, and the baked goods are always fresh and delicious. The curry croquettes are nearly always on my mind and the melon buns are delicately sweet clouds of joy. As someone who loves coffee, this place bummed me out. They have a cappuccino machine and chai but weren't sure how to make a dirty chai. I was also going to just settle for a chai latte (chai tea and milk) with a milk substitute. However, I was told there was no substitute for milk even though it was on the menu?
