Every single birthday or anytime I need to get a cake, I'm going to Tour Les Jours. Love their cakes, especially their original cloud cake which is just so good and it's consistent every time. I also like they provide you with a cake cutter and candles, just something extra that is nice they provide. If you need a cake, go here it will not disappoint. I also love their curry croquette, sometimes if it's been out too long you can tell it doesn't taste fresh. I still think the honey castella & souffle cheese are pretty subpar. * Cold brew is pretty solid - dark chocolate/caramel/nutty after tastes, the usual dark roast tasting notes. * Cloud cake is light, fluffy, and delicious - not too sweet either. The fruit on top were pretty fresh. * Taro Buttercream Bread - just enough taro flavored bread and taro buttercream. This is incredibly tasty and goes well with a cup of black coffee. * Macarons - I really liked the earl grey flavor, but overall, it was a bit stale. * Mocha bread - Forgot if this was the actual name, but this was yummy and filled with chocolate and coffee flavors! Very excited for this place to open! They have a few tables and sofa for people to sit, lovely enviornment. The collection of dessert/pastry is great too. I can not believe it has taken me this long to come to Tous Les Jours! Omg, this place is absolute heaven! Stopped in on a Sunday after having lunch at their Korean restaurant in the plaza across and great ending to our Sunday funday. Walking in, place was busy, but everything was pretty stocked. Was very clean and open, so didn't feel like I was shoulder to shoulder with everyone. Everything we had was delicious! I love the fluffy everything is and the cream so light and fresh! A MUST, is their taro bread... wow! AMAZING! I could eat one daily! Their cloud cake is very good and love their cinnamon twist donut. Oh and their cream milk bread... There is an endless variety of fresh pastery/drink options to choose from! I got an iced tiramisu latte with oat milk, and a taro cream bun. I was super happy with the latte, you can taste the rich coffee flavor in combination with the sweetness from the cocoa powder topping. I prefer my lattes a little strong, and this was perfect. I would recommend trying the taro bun if you like the natural flavor of taro. It is not too sweet, and the center is filled with a delicate taro cream. Loved that Tous Les Jours opened in Michigan! Beautiful cafe with a wide variety of baked goods to choose from (if you come early enough that is). Because of their popularity since opening, they run out of their baked goods very quickly so if you go toward the end of the day, you won't have much to pick from. Their taro buttercream bread is by far one of my favorites. Purple bread with a cream tucked between 2 pieces of bread. It's light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Some of their packaged goods such as the coffee cake and the cheesecake are also delicious! They go perfectly with a cup of coffee. They also have savory items such as kimchi croquettes or curry croquettes, all of which I also loved very much. These were definitely better to eat day of purchase. The cakes are beautiful, though the only one I have tried is the green tea cloud cake. Airy and not dense, it has a beautiful green tea flavor with light sweetness and fresh fruit. read more

This bakery is top notch and an amazing addition to Troys already burgeoning and best restaurant and dining scene. The bakery interior is classy and spacious with ample room for seating and catching up with friends. They have a very unique and cool selection of items here. I really like the milk bread and the cream cheese croissant and their oat milk cappuccinos are delicious. Even the spout of the cup is shaped in such a way to minimize leakage. This is a bakery that has thought of every detail which I appreciate! When you enter you have a tray you pick up, and after putting wax paper on it you use tongs to pick up bakery items which mostly are individually sealed which makes me feel better as we are still in a Covid era. They have a smaller selection of hot savory items and also an epic selection of cakes/ desserts and macarons. Sounds French but actually Korean. This bakery is our goto Asian bakery spot in the area as the bread is a perfect fusion of east and west. It's always fresh and very airy and light. Also got a great selection of cakes and French macaroons and coffees. Nice decor and place to study as well. Can get busy at certain times of the day but this morning was definitely real chill. I happened to drive by this place on my way to drop off a friend from out of town at their hotel nearby. I don't think I ever would have known about it otherwise. And it looked super charming from the outside, so I of course looked it up on Yelp. It had good reviews, and it looked abuzz, so I decided to drag my friend there to try it out. Well, we came back like five or six times since. It's such a cool spot. The ambience of the cafe is very inviting, the staff is super friendly, and all the selection of breads and pastries is extensive. I've liked everything I've tried, and at this point, that's mostly everything. The yuzu pastry is one of the highlights, certainly. The floral citrus quality of the yuzu filling is matched so perfectly by the flakiness of the pastry. It's by far my favorite among a lot of outstanding choices. I stopped by because I loveee dessert and wanted to check our this new bakery. I thought that it was French, but I guess it's French/Korean. They had sooo many cool items. I was in a hurry and didn't have much time to spend. I inquired about vegan items, but they did not have any. I think they should add this to the menu for people who are lactose intolerant. I was also disappointed that they didn't offer any sugar free syrups for coffee. I decided to try something and got the strawberry cloud cake. It was sooooo yummy and fluffy and light and just so good. I wish the strawberry was more fresh, but it was fine. This is not an authentic French patisserie... If an establishment that is claiming to be a French patisserie has a poster of Baby Shark on their front door that's red flag number one. I only went there because my traditional authentic French patisserie was closed on Monday. I gave this the benefit of the doubt because there was literally nowhere else to go. I ordered the Green Tea cloud cake slice and the Chocolate cloud cake slice along with the Rose and Earl Grey macarons for Anniversary desserts. The cloud cakes were very light and fluffy, but I honestly couldn't taste any flavor and they're extremely sweet. The chocolate cloud cake left a waxy film aftertaste... it really tasted like you're just eating sugar and whip cream. The macarons were decent. This review is for the Troy, Michigan location. It's located in a mini Plaza corner. There was an employee smoking to the side of a tree in the parking area and then there was a baby stroller in the parking area on the grass berm it was just sitting there. It looked very tacky and unkempt. They could really class it up for being in Troy Michigan and of course, trying to be trendy. So excited for this South Korean / French bakery to open up in Troy. I've been to many locations in New York and Chicago, so I am happy to have one closer to home. If you're in the Metro Detroit/ Southeast Michigan area, Tous Les Jour is never a bad idea!! The setup here is cute and the minutes seem to fly by as you're circling the fresh items on display and choosing what new thing (or old favorite ) to try. Whenever I go, I seem to have at least 5 things piled up on my tray. In terms of the pastries, I absolutely LOVE the red bean donut. You can get it covered in sugar or just plain. I really enjoy that the red bean paste itself is not too sweet. If you go early enough in the morning you might be able to get your items just as they're coming out of the oven. Some of the other items I tried this time were the spinach feta danish and the sweet potato cloud cake. The cloud cake is light and not too sweet. The spinach danish was lovely with a perfect balance of spinach: cheese ratio but it's better warmed up at home. We were so chuffed to hear that Tous Les Jours was opening a Troy, Mi location because we would travel around to grab some goodies- how lucky are we! The breads and desserts are well made and baked fresh everyday- staff keeps the shelves stocked up and clean looking because so many people flood through here, so be sure to either go early to mid afternoon to be sure to get your hands on some of the good stuff! Our personal favorite savory item is the Croque Monsieur that can be found in the warmer, our favorite bread is the milk bread, and we love their cake slices for sweets (cloud cake & chocolate cake are winners in our books)! Such a lovely space with beautifully made pastries-- no wonder this place is the talk of the town! I feel like I've stepped into a Korean drama upon entering the shop. It has the perfect background music playing for a K-drama experience. Haha! Though I will say there were 2 letdowns (1 was my fault) after this visit. 1. I arrived at 2pm and found out that their baked goods are freshly made twice a day (upon store opening and at 12pm).
