After the previous review I left, I was contacted by Jerrell the customer service manager. After telling him about my experience he apologized and said he would help me find the car I wanted for a fair price. He kept his word, however while working on the financing details I found exactly what I was looking for at a dealership in Loma Linda California. Definitely worth the drive. If I could I would give no stars. I went into Towbin after being contacted by their internet team. The salesman was ok to work with but every time I said I would have to think about it or come back they kept pushing me. After telling them what I would need in order for me to make a decision at that moment (because I was being pressured by both the salesman and the sales manager) they agreed and told me we had a deal. Before we even got started I was up front about my less then perfect credit, but they kept saying they had already pulled it and it wouldn't be a problem financing me. I went through all the trouble to have an updated insurance card faxed to them in order to take the car home that day, only to be told I couldn't take the car home until I provided a pay stub. I provided the pay stub that night and emailed the finance guy in the morning. He did not reply till after 5pm saying he received it and was working on my loan. It's been two days and multiple hard inquiries on my credit later and I still don't have the car and haven't heard from Luis Escobar. He won't return my contact attempts. Towbin pressured me into making a decision to buy a car that day, only to take me on an emotional roller coaster ride. I got very excited about the car, told my friends and family, and now, look and feel like a loser/sucker. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THESE PEOPLE TELL YOU!!! I was trying to buy a used Toyota Camry since my mum works for Toyota Corporate and Toyota's are the only cars my family drives. I'll be sure to never stray from a Toyota or Lexus dealership again and I'll be sure my mum tells everyone about my experience with Towbin and Luis Escobar. read more

So last year I bought a used car from prestige dodge , got a good deal on the car but hosed on the interest rate . After paying so much in interest I decided I wanted a new car with a lower rate. Prestige being so far ( I live in Henderson) I decided to look up tobin and see what they had to offer. They had some good deal on challengers and chargers so I called and spoke to Brenda she said come in and she would take care of me. I told her I wanted the 1.9 % financing she said no problem . She asked where I wanted to be on my payment I told her my ideal monthly payment . She came back with a quote for $200 more then what we talked about said they were only offering me $10,200 for my car (it blue booked for 16,300) I felt insulted by the offer why even bring me something like that just tell me you cant do it. After telling her it was to much she said let me see what I can do , she came back with $408 said she lowed my interest rate , wasn't I supposed to be getting 1.9% in the first place ? Come to find out they tried to give me 5% in the first place . She repeatably tell me what a good deal the car was ( witch it was ) and how they are the cheapest in town . I asked them to lower the price witch they said they couldn't do ( of course they can) so I left . I called back a couple days later and asked if they could do anything for me on the price they were offering me for my car they said they couldn't . Long story short I went to Chapman dodge and they not only offered to pay off my car but gave it to me for below invoice. I had such a good experience I not only bought a new Charger I also went and bought my wife a new Journey a few days later. So Tobin lost out on the sale of two new cars. Tobin refused to work with me or help and I would have to say go elsewhere for your car shopping. read more

went into towbin dodge of henderson with a positive mindset and left disgusted. we found a car on car guru that was located at this dealership. we drove by and saw it was there, we walk in and after 5-10 mins we were greeted by benny the "sales manager". benny sets us up with a sales rep and we sat down with AMBER from Lafayette Louisiana. she asks us what we are looking for and we tell her the exact car that we are interested in. "oh that car is sold" and begins asking what we are looking for in a car. well after a bit she agrees to see if she has the car we were interested in still. so she finds it and then wants us to fill out the credit check right away, BEFORE EVEN SEEING THE CAR. me and my significant other agreed that if this car was what it was, it was pretty much a deal so we sign the credit check papers but ask to check out the car and test drive it.. AMBER takes us on a test drive and we get back and we had 2nd thoughts about the car. the transmission had a grinding noise and the tires had tons of road noise. we go ahead and tell AMBER we are no longer interested in the car and are going to head out. AMBER then tells us that our credit was being check while on the test drive...so much for no commitment.. so i ask for the credit report and AMBER says sure one minute, then comes back to our table with the credit check paper asking for more info. at this point we are a little annoyed and confused, i ask for the paper to see it and AMBER did not want to give it to me, after telling her i needed to add info to it she still was trying to get the credit pulled even after telling her we ARE NOT interested in the car anymore. AMBER finally agrees to let me add info to the paper but sits down next to me and makes sure i am writing info. my son asks AMBER for the popcorn she had offered after the test drive but she refused to acknowledge him several times and continued to watch me like a hawk. i ask AMBER to speak with her sales manager benny and she said ok but did not want to leave the table without the credit check forum. after asking her 2 more times for the sales manager i hand the credit check forum to my significant other and tell amber that i will go and find benny myself since she dose not want to. AMBER then snatches the papers out of my wifes hands and says ill be right back. at this point im in disbelief as to what just happened... i grab the papers from her and say that we are done here, i want your manager now. benny finally comes over after asking 4 times for him and then he sends us another sales rep. benny asks us what we were looking for and we tell him what we wanted and he told us that they have exactly that in stock. we wait 15-20 mins and the car that shows up is dirty and gross looking, receipts and water bottles on the floor, it looked like it was one of the worker personal vehicles that they wanted to make a sale with.AND on top of that it was missing a very important key element that we specifically asked for. so after packing up the kids the sales manager tries to reduce the price of the car we test drove by "alot so i can get it off my lot" and offers to replace the tires and look into the transmission. we kindly refused the offer as we did not want anything to do with this dealership at ALL. another sales rep apologized for AMBERS action and said that everyone is having a bad day and they had 20+ walk ins but only one sale. run away from this place, i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. sales reps like AMBER are desperate for a sale and will screw you and your credit and not even care. we ended up at nissan down the street and happily financed a car threw them and enjoyed our entire experience there. Purchased a new truck but they kept messing up the paperwork. They don't know how to do leases apparently. Then they took their sweet time paying off the trade in (if it's even paid yet) so I was hit with late fees and my credit reported the lates so it effect me that way. I've left messages for the payoff dept and still have yet to receive any word. I still get calls everyday from my previous finance company like I'm some deadbeat that doesn't pay my dues. Never purchase or do anything with these guys in the future. Talk about working out the deal, I love this place one of the few places that you can hard ball the sales rep (sorry T) into a deal that you will love. Went in with a car owing money and a horrible rate, wanted it paid in full and a low rate well, walked out replacing my 99 with a new 10 and rate reduction of 20 percent. payment's only went up 100 and managed to knock off more than a few thousand off. I'm happy with the deal and the car I will be back for my challenger soon. read more

I bought a Dodge Dart from Towbin in September of 2014. It was in the shop by November of 2014 and has been there 13 times since. They have replaced the transmission, four or five transmission modules, an electronic body module, an electronic gear shift module and a stereo unit just to name a few. The car was in the shop for 33 days at once before it was a year old. Yet they claim it isnt a lemon. As does Chrysler. The only reason that i am giving Towbin one star is for Robert in the service department. Everyone else there that i have come into contact with is a snake that doesn't stand behind there product nor their customers. Be forwarned before spending your hard earned money with this company. You WILL lose out and be broke down in the end. read more

Very poor service department. Had a clicking issue behind the drivers side dash in my 2013 Dodge Caravan. It was still under warranty so I called my nearest Dodge dealer. Explained that it was our only vehicle and would need to wait for it. Was given an appointment for 9:40am on Friday 1/22 and was told they would work on it then. When I arrived at 9:30 am, no other customers were lined up, pulled right in then was rudely told by Abraham that I would need to leave it overnight and could not wait for it. I should have left right then. I wanted it fixed so I used their shuttle service and left it. Called back on Saturday at 1pm and was told they did not know what was wrong with it and they needed to keep it until Monday. They had not even looked at my vehicle, so why did they have me bring it in on Friday morning?????? I blew up at Jose, the person assigned to my case, said I needed to pick it up at 4pm since we had plans to go out that night and it would not be coming back. Also explained I had told the girl who made our appointment we needed our only vehicle back quickly and that their service sucked! They had not delivered as promised. About 30 minutes later Jose called back saying it would be fixed today or they would give me a loaner. 4pm Jose called and said it would be fixed and ready about 4:30 pm, we were just being dropped off at the dealer then. We waited from 4 pm to 5:15pm in their waiting room. Our van was visible in the repair bay and slowly made progress. We did get the van fixed the next day from when it was dropped off but only because I blew up at Jose. If left to their own service would not have looked at my van until Monday and possibly not even then. I was lied to and do not believe these guys at all. I will not be returning to purchase a new vehicle there or service again. This type of poor service is not acceptable. read more

Came in here because my husband was very excited to own his first Dodge. We knew we would need to get a used car as that's what our budget allowed. The sales rep that helped us, can't remember his name but was Brazilian, helped us find a car we were looking for and let us know it's within our budget and would help get us approved. Test drove it and my husband fell in love with the car. Once everything was sent in to the bank for financing it came back denied. Well we let him know we are willing to go down a model or an older year to find something similar. He let us know the range we were approved for and will go find us a car and show us. Well the car they bring up is a Hyundai.... why on earth would they show us a Hyundai when we were looking for a Dodge. Frustrated we spoke to the floor manager, Jason, and he was on the right page with us and gave us options as to what vehicles were available. He found us a car within our approved range that had just come in to the lot and we were excited to get it. He helped us a great deal and I would give him 5 stars, however he was ending his shift and said he would let the two other guys finish helping us out. Once he left, the two guys came over and let us know that they would need an additional 3,000 down payment to take that car... I'm sorry what!? We already had a nice down payment on hand, plus a trade in, the floor sales manager helped find a car in our range and they STILL couldn't seal the sale!?!? How is that possible!!! They lost our business quick, those 2 guys did not listen as to what we were looking for, gave us an approved range with the downpaynent we had still wanted more money. What's more they didn't explain ANYTHING to us! Super frustrating. We went to another dealership that got us a similar car in that price range with the down payment we had and were able to get us ready and out in half the time. If looking for a used car, go to Carmax and stay away from these clowns. But thanks to Jason for being courteous, listening to what we were looking for AND explain things to us. My wife and I both purchased vehicles from this dealership back in the end of December and beginning of January. Signing paperwork for our vehicles was a mess. We went back to the dealer on 3 separate occasions because there was paperwork they forgot to give us to sign. We're both nurses so our time is very precious. My wife was promised a reverse camera in her car after the sale was made. It was their pitch to get us to purchase the vehicle because it would have been a deal breaker for her. I took off from work just to deliver the vehicle and wait for the installation to be done, just for them to have me come back a couple of hours later because they didn't have the part. Guess what? We're STILL waiting for it to be installed. To make matter worse is that I traded in my old vehicle to them and they have YET to pay it off! I got this vehicle at the end of December and it's now Valentines Day. Wells Fargo has been calling me daily to try and get me to make a payment. They've threatened me and now the payment is delinquent on both of our credit reports. I called to see what the issue was and the woman I talked to sent a check worth the amount of both our trade ins to my wife's ex financer ONLY. Why? I don't know. This is not okay! We plan on getting into a house very soon and have worked hard to clean up our credit only for this to happen. High hopes for this dealer crushed. By far the worst dealership service experience I have ever had. Kept getting the walk around on why car wasnt done.. it went from 1 day to 5 days. And the fact that the service writer freddie didnt even know what was being replaced telling me that the intake manifold was being replaced because it was cracked.. then finding out that they replaced the exhaust manifold and downpipe due to a crack. I had to call for updates. Not once did the service department call me and let me know it was going to take longer... and when I told the service writer to not wash my car they washed it anyways. When I got the vehicle back the front grille badge was missing and the handle for the seat back was missing and under the drivers seat. I had to call another service writer to get updates on my vehicle I feel like they were avoiding my calls. Definitely not going back to this sad excuse of service department. . read more

My husband visited this dealership 8/7/2020 where he inquired about a truck he saw online. He spoke with Emily and she continued to help him with the process and his interest in the truck. We are currently purchasing a house and my husband told her that we wouldn't close until Wednesday 8/12/2020 so if they could hold the truck until Friday 8/14/2020. She spoke with her manager and they agreed that he would leave a $1,000 deposit to hold the truck until then. Today is Wednesday 8/12/2020 and Emily texted my husband asking if he would be in today to pick up the truck. He responded no he would be in on Friday like previously discussed and she said "Gotcha..". She then texted him later in the day saying he had to come pick up his deposit that her manager said that they can't hold the truck for any longer. We went in not longer after receiving her text to pick up the deposit. I understand that they're sales people and they make money off the sale of the cars but my husband gave them $1,000 and his word and all he was asking is for a little time and their word because they did say they would hold the truck until Friday. When we went to pick up the deposit I asked Emily where I can make a review or who I can speak with about our awful experience there. She then said "well what are you trying to accomplish?". I am happy we won't be purchasing the $50,000 truck there and that we can give that money to a dealership and sales person that makes us feel more people. read more

Sales person was a hard worker. CJ, her manager not so much. Let me explain. We went in last week, to see about trading in our vehicle, and they gave us an offer on the 2018 Journey, (the vehicle we were looking at). And the deals weren't exceptional giving everything is inflated. anyways, we ended up wanting to go with a truck, and also not very exceptional price. CJ wanted us to go with $776, monthly payments, keep in mind full coverage is $250, for a truck like that so $1,000 monthly ? for a $30k car? Math doesn't add up. Anyways so as we are negotiating CJ obviously became very uncomfortable with us or what have you, raised his tone of voice, looked down unto us, then FLAT OUT TURNED AROUND AND WALKED AWAY FROM US. Poor service. They also said the APR would be 8.99-12.99%, with it being around there my monthly payment should be coming back as $560-620. yet they're saying 776 is all they can do? i'll just go elsewhere. Thanks for wasting mine and my family's time. EDIT: spoke to my mom about what happened and she said before I walked up, he was dissing her on her ear rings and nails. So unprofessional. "People want nice things or they can go to walmart like you" - CJ (Manager at Towbin Dodge). Also let their GM know about it and they left me on read. Save the hassle. They gave me a much needed good experience with a car shop after I had a nightmare of an experience at another local car repair place that same week. I had to have my car in the shop for a few days and they were great with communication and giving me updates on my car. They also gave me a loaner car which made my life a lot easier. My car now runs great. The only down side was that when I brought my car in the lady on the phone wasn't clear that I was making an appointment to drop my car off, I made it for a service appointment but when I got there I was told my appointment was just to drop the car off and they won't get to it until tomorrow. I would have appreciated it if they were more direct about the situation over the phone. However that was the only problem I had. They apologized for the mix up and paid for me to get an uber ride home while they kept the car overnight. The next day they gave me a courtesy ride back to the shop to get the loaner. I am happy with this place and will return. read more

I bought Ford Focus from Towbin in May. Let me list the sh*t these guys pulled on me. 1 There was only one key without the entry buttons,no big deal i thought until i tried to one made and was told it would be $280. I was also told that the car did not have remote entry.That was a lie,you just needed the key with the buttons on it, that key would cost $380 2 the transmission was hesitant but I was told it was a double-clutching transmission.Another lie.I did some research on the vehicle and this transmission has troubles.So I called Towbin three days after the sale and they told me to take it to Ford myself.I told them BS I wanted them to get it fix and I needed a courtesy car while they fix the Focus. After much rambling they agreed but when I took the car down to the Towbin did not want to give me the courtesy car.They finally relented after I got extremely pissed. 3 The backup camera/radio station readout did not work and Towbin said nothing about until I ask the salesman why you couldn't see what station the radio was on. Then it was mentioned it may be broken,it was. Another lie and another trip to the Ford dealer Luckily I caught that one before signing the paperwork or I would been screwed on that. 4 there was film of something all over the car when I tried to wash it for the first time and found from auto detailer that Towbin had used a type WD-40 that hides scratches on black cars. Sure enough after the detailer clean the car of the WD40 ther were scratches all over it These guy are first class crooks and I would advise to stay away from this dealer read more

Not a fan of how my experience went down today and yesterday. I was pre approved online and talked to Tim (seems his name pops up a few times on yelp for same issue) he saw what my credit was and said he should be able to get me in the car I asked about with 1000 down and mid 300's per month. I am like ok! Next day I go see and they want 1500 down and 400 a month. I said I can't afford and didn't want to do my trade in. Then he said there was "wiggle" room in the months and price . He went back to the finance office and I told him I had to get back to work. They would call me later. I contacted them about 430 pm and now it's 1500 down and 400+ a month ( now the kicker I check online tonight and the dealer resale value was 3000 less that their asking price) I think I missed a bullet buy would have loved the car if it was for what we originally agreed. I was in the market for a 2021 Ram 1500 Limited with almost all the options. I couldn't find what I was looking for in my area, so I decided to look out-of-state. Saw that Towbin had two trucks with the options I wanted. They advertised one truck at $66,100 with an MSRP of $77,315 on cars.com. Looked like a pretty good deal, so I reach out through the website. Lloyd calls me and tells me he will email me a quote. In his email, he says the truck was sold. I ask about the other truck with an MSRP of $77,885. Florencio, the other internet salesman, gave me a quote for $76,135, which was just subtracting the incentives. When I said no, they gave a "FINAL" quote of $74,885. They said that was because I wanted 0% financing. I asked what if I paid cash and the quote dropped to $73,135, still over $7k higher than what they advertised the "sold" truck for. As of this review (4/24/21), the "sold" truck is still advertised. Research the Ram forums and you will find honest dealerships that won't bait and switch. I found a dealership that gave me almost $11k off MSRP. This dealership even arranged to transport my truck to my state. Towbin left that up to me. Maybe the in-person experience is better, but as an out-of-state buyer, I cannot recommend this dealership. If their goal is to have the cheapest prices in the world, they're failing miserably. read more

She was extremely informative, helpful, and made the experience very painless, even - dare I say - pleasant. She seemed more like a friend than someone trying to sell me a car, which made it an even easier decision to purchase a car from her.
