I know it was a Thursday right before 'season' but this was disappointing. It was surprisingly clean, but smelled like a smoky bar and urinal cake. The place was absolutely empty at 7pm. Our waitress was very sweet and tried to help us get a drink order in, but they had just changed their menus- the drink I had was awful, something I would have made in college. It was in a little plastic cup and was $10. No. The chef came out to tell us the specials, again he was very sweet and trying very hard. Unfortunately the execution of the food was bad. I had the fish tacos and they were odd- skinny rectangular tortillas that you couldn't pick up- dry over cooked fish- salad greens- an actual tasty sauce- and roasted red pepper which just muddled it up. It ended up being a $15 side salad with a plate of decent fries. The waitress joked and said sorry, usually everyone was drunk when they came in. I had a yelp coupon that they refused and said was a scam. I'm sure if you were looking to just drink it would e fine but not what we were looking for. read more

A pleasant surprise had outdoor seating and big sign ac inside so due to being so hot we tried it for lunch inside. Cool stage with guitars on wall and good local decorations for inside. Staff super friendly to my kids and had q really good lunch. Daughter liked the pizza and my burger really good. This bar was at the end of the main drag of Weirs Beach where Laconia Bike week is held. It was a little crazy when we went in but we found an open table and waited for a server - eventually we got taken care of. The server was nice an friendly we each ordered beers and burgers. We also had a side of fired pickles which were pretty good. Over all - kinda what you would expect form a busy bar during Bike Week. read more

This is for the PIZZA review only... We went here in the summer and I thought the Pizza was good to average... nothing outstanding... I think we paid $16 for a large pizza (which is pretty pricey but this is Weir's Beach). Today we had a small pizza for $10 as we needed something to hold us over why we went on the 2 hour train ride... it was a good size but very doughy, less sauce, and less cheese... it was mediocre... and seemed to take longer than expected... I stopped by during a small rush of folks. The walk up window was training a new employee, which was fine. I felt bad for her because the employee who was supposed to be training her was doing an awful job. I ordered a turkey club with onion rings, and I waited with my friend for our food. We figured service would be a little slow because it was so busy. Little did we know. It took almost half an hour for my friend to get just a basket of chicken fingers. I waited almost 45 minutes before I went back up to the window. The cook hadn't even made my order. The reason? Because I had asked for rye bread and they didn't have any left. Therefore, it makes so much sense just to ignore the order altogether. The employee then somewhat apologetically told me they'd get it right out. Five minutes later I got my food. Unfortunately they thought tortilla chips equal onion rings. No explanation, no apologies. Seriously do not come to this restaurant. Their food is nothing special, and the service alone is horrendous. I guess when you're one of just a few restaurants on the beach you can afford to have awful service and still somehow stay in business. read more

Went last night to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Before hand, we messaged the restaurant asking for the specials tonight, they replied stating that Thursdays are their beer and drink specials. We arrived for the drink specials alone and their specials board stated $5 Wells Drinks, and in the bathroom there was a calendar presenting "Thirsty Thursdays" but our waitress refused to give us that deal. My family and I went to Tower Hill for pizza, salad, and onion rings. We were initially disappointed because the salad had dried out brown cucumber and old tomato on it. The onion rings were good, which kind of made up for the salad.... until the pizza came. The pizza was extremely doughy and 50% of each slice was crust. On one of the pizzas they FORGOT TO PUT CHEESE ON IT! How do you forget cheese?! It had the toppings on it that we wanted but they forgot the cheese... so they took it back and came back out 5 minutes later with the same pizza with maybe 10 shreds of cheese on it... needless to say we will never return. read more

This may be one of the worst overall dining experiences we've ever had. After seating ourselves (there was no host/hostess), we waited over 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. The place was virtually empty, so it's not like she had other tables to cover. After placing our order for two simple appetizers, it took 45 minutes to get our food. Again, the restaurant was virtually empty. The food was highly disappointing. The chicken fingers were clearly from frozen, and were stringy and tough. The cheese fries were soggy and the cheese sauce was flavorless. After dropping our food off, we never saw our server again. Long after we were done eating, we had to hunt her down to ask for our check so we could pay and leave. She replied, "oh, you want your check?" This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. Stay away. Stay far away. read more

Having waited over 30 minutes, grandma asked the waitress to check on the order, " I guess I can do that" the waitress replied. Then the rest of our meals came out one at a time. Our bill came to $79. I left $90 and walked out, the waitress disappeared, and came back stating that only $70 was left another member of our party, took the cash and put it his card leaving a tip on top. Now she's got a tip she didn't deserve and an extra $20! Never Go Here! The bar tender kept her bottle opener between her waistband and her ass! I visited this establishment with my friends on the Fourth of July and have never been more disgusted by the staff in my life. I will tell my story completely truthfully. I smoked a disposable nicotine device in this bar and without warning was physically dragged out of the bar. I had no idea it was not allowed and assumed if it was an issue I would be told it's not allowed. But out of nowhere after taking one hit of a disposable I had a woman grab me by the shoulders and throw me out of the bar with no explanation. After apologizing and telling them I would give them the disposable so I could back in I was yelled at and hit by the same woman who dragged me out. She is an unsafe human to have as a bar bouncer and treated me 10x worse than a human should be treated. I know everyone in the staff knows who this is and she should be removed. She is the pinnacle of white trash who wants to assert their dominance over the few people she can at her bar regardless of what they have done. read more

I got nachos with grilled chicken on it, one of the most pathetic examples of nachos I have ever seen, chips were mostly burnt and rubber chicken cubes were charred and gross. This falls into the latter... Went here with my buddy and 2 kids and there was only one other couple in the bar / eating area where we were. Server finally came over, after ordering apps we were ready to put our regular meals in, but 10-15 minutes later she still hadn't returned. We agreed as a table to eat lunch somewhere else. Finally when the apps came, there was only 2 we ordered, one of them was completely wrong. We ordered mild wings, not buffalo / hot and she repeated my order twice to me when she took it, and it was still wrong. The food itself, overcooked probably frozen a bit too long wings.
