It had chunks of green peppers which were grilled and you could tell they were fresh. Fresh grilled onions and chunks of tomatoes inside. It was loaded with cheese too. My eggs were done to perfection and I had the sourdough toast. Their sourdough toast is Home made style bread. I don't believe it's baked in the restaurant, but it was very good. Once again, very generous portions. The place is huge inside with plenty of elbow room. As for the price, their prices were average and in line with other places we've eaten breakfast in the area. The whole staff that is there greeted you at one point or the other. Very friendly staff. They are also open for lunch and dinner. When I went there today, I saw that sign and I asked the one gentleman who I believe might be the owner if that fee app applies to debit cards. He told me that the cash register/card swipe just does what it does which I know is BS. The lady walked up and asked me if there was an issue and I believe her to perhaps be his wife. I told the both of them that federally it's illegal to charge a percentage when it's a debit card. When I told her that she advised that there's ATM in the corner when I told her I'm not interested and I left. I'm not trying to create any sort of havoc for this family business. However, I don't appreciate as a longtime customer to be taken advantage of. If you look at the Attorney General of Illinois website it'll explain the charging the fee for a debit card is federally illegal. Until this restaurant changes its ways I'm not going there.
