They messed up paperwork, charged me incorrectly, were misinformed, and kept saying it was done but the car had to go back in 2 more times before I was done. I called ahead of time to ensure they had the tires available, and scheduled installation for several days later. They were quite busy so I waited a bit longer than I would've expected however I had a very good experience. The manager was very helpful and they did great work on my car. Because it was a slow leak and not urgent, and I had plans that day, Josh found the tires I needed, and scheduled installation for a day that worked better for me. Before I left, he filled all the tires so I'd be good to go for the weekend. Despite being busy, their team was moving quickly for a Saturday. We've used the Tewksbury location a number of times over the years for new tires, rotation, and flat repair. They've been consistently courteous and great. Today, I had flat in my Tesla Model Y, a screw stuck in the tread. At the recommendation of an operator for Town Fair Tire covering the area, I went to a "less busy" location and got all sort of run-around (as in "you don't have an appt so you'll wait all day even if we can get to you"). Who schedules to get a flat? And I get it, a flat isn't exactly a new set of tires. So, I went to Tewksbury as I had originally intended. Courteous and straight-up talk about forecast wait time and potential issue specific to how Tesla uses a foam ring on the wheels to dampen noice. I took my pickup to get new tires this weekend and they lost both keys to my wheel locks . They lied about it saying it wasn't in my truck even though I left everything in my cup holder. the sugar on top was when they broke my automatic seat controls, not sure why my seat needed to be adjisted to change tires but my seat is pushed all the way back and it no longer works. Nobody beats Town Fair... Jared lived up to this slogan today for me big time. I got a brand new set of tires last week and my 18 year old hit a curb in the rain last night and blew out the tire. I was there at 8:00 sharp as Jared opened the door with a smile. I explained to him my situation and how I needed my car today as I travel for work and have 3 appointments all over MA. He assured me that even though there were appointments waiting for work to be done that he would do the best he can to get me out in an hour. I waited at the counter for 45 minutes to get my tire swapped, but the 3 guys at the counter seemed overwhelmed with whatever they were working on before they even spoke with me. I was the only customer in the store and there was no vehicles in the bays and I just needed to get one tire swapped over, but one of the guys at the counter was on the phone, and the other two were talking with each other about a problem they were having with another vehicle. when I finally stepped up and said some thing, he asked me if I had an appointment. I told him no, I did not have an appointment because I did not have plans to have a hole in my tire so I was hoping you could put the tire on for me and that really seem to throw a wrench in the mix because he wasn't prepared to work on a vehicle that did not have an appointment. As you can see from the photograph, there's not one vehicle in the shop so I don't know how they were unable to swap my tire over but I ended up leaving and going to Mavis tire down the road. read more

I ran over a nail leaving the gym and google mapped the nearest tire repair facility. I was about 3 miles from the Town Fair Tire on Old Main Street in Tewksbury, MA. They were very busy when I got there, so I thought that must be a good sign since it looks like people really trust this tire center. Everyone was very, very nice and explained why my tire couldn't be plugged and why it wasn't safe to do so. I have a Mercedes SmartCar with tires that needed to be ordered. Left my car overnight and came back as soon as they called and said it was ready. The car is running much smoother with the new tire and the alignment they did. Definitely recommend this store over any of their competitors. Everyone from start to finish was professional and friendly. I've purchased tires from other vendors in the past and the service doesn't even come close to the service I received here. I had to wait for my spouse to come and pay the bill because I was coming from the gym and didn't have my wallet on me. We're a same sex couple and these guys didn't bat an eye over it. Thank you! Tires can be a tricky thing, I was brought up being told that tire salesmen will always try to upsell you things you don't need. Well, I can say with confidence that this TFT location is the best. Specifically Tyler who seemingly works to keep the entire operation afloat. We literally watched him help us with a road-hazard replacement claim, answer the phone to give other location stock information, help a customer on the phone, finish up an interaction with another customer, and help his co-worker all at the same time. Never did I feel like he wasn't taking care of us, or was moving on to other customers. It's a true talent to be able to work this hard, and to keep your customers engaged. Tyler is an asset to this store and the TFT chain, and management would be smart to recognize and promote his performance. After hitting two potholes in the span of 45 days, our front right tire had to be replaced twice. TFT Road Hazard is worth the $5 a tire, and is a necessity up here in New England. Each time we went the team worked quickly to get the tire replaced, everything aligned, and out the door. Their time quotes were spot on, and the prices were reasonable with no pressure to upsell, or try and tack on crap that we don't need. All in all, this is a great location, quick to get to, nestled in a little notch between the highway and Walmart. Definitely give them your business, and be sure to ask for Tyler. (To be fair, I'm sure all the other team members do great work as well, just in contrast, our now unfortunately many interactions at TFT due to the potholes, have been made better each time by Tyler's attention to detail, professionalism and efficiency. I went there today because I had a flat tire and needed a replacement fast. I'm impressed because they understood I was on a tight budget and wasn't able to pay for an expensive one. They told me all my options but weren't pushy at all. They openly admitted to the cheapest option still being a pretty reliable choice. I'm glad they didn't try to scam me because it was obvious I didn't know much about cars or tires. I only waited about 20-30 minutes altogether, and my car was set to go! The only reason I took away 1 star was because the staff members were joking around with each other while I was trying to make my payment. I went here because I needed a tire repair. They charged me about $9 (I thought it says free flat repair). They said they were unable to repair it because it is close to the shoulder and that I needed a new tire and since my car is AWD, I will need to get all new 4 tires. One of the rep said my tire is a runflat when it's clearly not a runflat because I ordered these tires myself (makes me wonder how educated they are on tires). I told them I recently got these tires and one tire is fine. They called around to see if my tire was available anywhere else and found one that had it. I was going to go to another location, but I decided to get a second opinion. I visited this location 5 times last week for a simple TPMS warning light reset. It all started with one tire being low and they recommended that I replace all 4 sensors for about $189.00 which I did and they installed the wrong sensor the first time. The warning light was not reset and took it a total of 4 more times for the same issue and nothing was fixed! The staff at front counter are friendly and this is why I gave then 2 stars: they are helpful to some degree but you will soon find out that they are motivated to clean out your wallet by recommending work that may not be all necessary. In my case, they failed to fix a simple issue by getting the right sensors and my last visit was horrible. I overhead the "technician" say I don't want to work on that truck" and they asked me to park in the back and wait. I decided to leave after 8 Mins, nobody showed up. My previous experience involved a tire alignment, the technician came out and said that it is not 100% because he could not get to driver side bracket and that I should consult a local mechanic! They may have fancy store, catchy slogan but the service and the knowledge at this particular facility is very poor. I wanted to support a local business but they proved to me that they are not worthy of my business. I have 5 cars in the family and they will never be serviced at this Town Fair Tire location. read more

Arrived for my appointment only to have to answer all the same questions again that I already answered twice. They said it would take 90-120 minutes. It's a 45 minute job and there were no other vehicles being services. All bays were open - and I had an appointment. Told them I had an appointment that I would miss if not done sooner than 90 minutes. I had a flat tire in the parking lot at work, and called AAA to tow my truck to Town Fair Tire in Tewksbury. It was getting late, and I really needed to get a new tire that day. Fortunately, AAA arrived very quickly, and got my truck there quickly, but time was very short. Michael at the front desk helped me, and did every thing he could to get my tire changed that day, preventing many complications that would have occurred if I had to leave it overnight. I've gone to this town fair tire location a few times now, and they are always very friendly and the wait is never terrible for a walk in without an appointment- the longest I've ever sat there waiting for my car to be ready is about 2 hours, and that's without an appointment. Are you thinking to get a wheel alignment at Town Fair Tewksbury - MA? - DON'T GO!!!! My tip for you, don't go there. They will mess up with your previous bad alignment and make It WORST, this is a second time that happened with me and finally I got the paper to prove it. On April 13th, 2019, I've replaced my two front tires at the Store in Nashua. On the Measurement paper said that rear camber and toe was frozen. Today, May 1st, 2019 I went to a mechanic that I know in Tewksbury to unfrozen the bolts. After the job done at the shop, I drove down to the store in Tewksbury, after 40 minutes waiting, they said: There is no way to align your rear tires because both rear camber/toe are maxed out. All the measurements were in red color, before they touched on my tires. See numbers below: (Left rear camber/toe = -1.2º & -0.04º); (Right rear camber/toe = -1.3º & -0.24º); (Total toe = -0.28º & Thrust angle = 0.10º). THEIR "MECHANINC" MADE IT WORST AND SAID, YOU ARE OKAY. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. (Left rear camber/toe = -2.1º & -0.51º); (Right rear camber/toe = -2.5º & -0.56º); (Total toe = -1.07º & Thrust angle = 0.03º). My conclusion is, do not trust them. They don't want to do their job and they will lie to you as they did with me. I had to go call my manager to ask a day off, because they ruined my day. I went back to the store in Nashua and they fixed it, all the colors are green and the measurements all set. read more

I made an appointment to get two tires changed. Over the phone they told me it would take 30 minutes to an hour to change. So i made the appointment. I get there to confirm the tires being put on because its a work van so they need to have a certain rating for the weight of the truck. Luckily the guy helping me pointed out that they listed the wrong kind of tires that were going to be put on so he corrected the mistake and listed the right kind I needed so this is why this review gets a star. The negative part of the review is I go there and they told me it would be an hour to two hours to put the tires on because of walk ins. How come walk ins are a priority over the ones who actually made the appointments. So an hour goes by I hear nothing, two hours later I call. They said it would be another 25 minutes. 45 minutes go by I call and they said it was just coming out. I arrive they are still working on it. I wait another 15 minutes, they pull the truck out. A bit late on this review but this location did a snow tire change over on a Lexus for me this past spring. During the change they told me they broke one of the TPS devices and put in an aftermarket one in its place. The TPS light worked fine but the car also has the ability to read the tire pressure in each of the 4 wheels and this was not working. Went back to TFT and they reset the system and told me to drive for a while and see if this solved the problem. It did not. Called the Lexus dealer and they told me that aftermarket TPS will not work and will stop all tires from reading out. Lexus wanted ~$200 to put an OEM one in. Long story short I dealt the manager at TFT and they purchased and installed an OEM one for me at their cost. Problem solved. read more
