This is a place ran by a middle age Korean dude and his staff. I originally found this place when I called several places quoting for brakes. These guys are great. I had my brake done a year ago. I took my car there today because the brake sensor was telling me that my brake pad was wearing down. Anyhow, I went there and the dude spent about 1.5 hours with me on the car. And......... no charge! It was not only for me, there was a customer before me that was not charged for the service, and another customer while I was there that had a simple refill for his coolant and was not charged. Go there not because they are cheaper, but if you use their service, they will provide extra quick services for you. I thought these guys only do brakes. Today I found out they do oil changes as well. I will take all my oil changing to these guys as well. read more

AN HONEST & AFFORDABLE MECHANIC (as rare as pink unicorns)... I have searched endlessly (well, I guess not "endlessly" lol) for a good, TRUSTWORTHY auto mechanic. I have found that in Town Garage". I have been to the other mechanics in this complex and had bad experiences in each. But I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The owner, for me, can be difficult to understand and on the phone he gets distracted a lot (just be patient, that's all). BUT he has ALWAYS been honest, and he ALWAYS goes the extra-mile to make sure that my vehicles are taken care of. He has even looked at my car (before a long trip) for no money, just to make sure that it was worthy of the trip. The bottom line is: If you're looking for someone to rub your belly, hold you close and tell you that everything is going to be alright, go somewhere else. The owner is very straightforward, honest, and considerate. I take my old VW bug in once a year and have them take a look at everything, and it comes out sturdy and tuned up. No BS, no small talk, no smooth maneuvering. Just great service. I went for an oil change on Saturday and every place in the places was booked up. Eddie was able to take me in as a walk-in and topped off all fluids and checked brakes, tire alignment in under 40 min so I don't have to come back again. I took my car to a basic shop, thinking I only needed an alignment, but the mechanic there said I may need more work and to take my car to an auto shop. I didn't have a regular shop, so I asked if it was him, where would he go, and if any in this area (there are several auto shops at this location). He said I should take it to Town Garage and ask for Young, that he's pretty good. I figured his suggestion should be pretty decent. I'm really glad that mechanic referred me to Young and Town Garage! I walked over, and shortly after I explained my issue, Young put my car on the lift, took the wheel off, examined it and was able to give me an estimate and completion date, which they finished the morning the parts arrived! They even found a nail in my tire and patched it up and rotated the wheels without charge! I really appreciate Young, how he was so helpful and honest, especially since I'm a girl. I grew up helping my 2 older brothers when they used to fix their cars, so I know a tad about cars. It always frustrates me when I take my car to a shop and the mechanic tells me I need to repair this or that when I know it's not necessary, or when they are not detailed about the service, just because they think I wouldn't notice. This place is amazing. Great service! My car suddenly didn't start and the "check charging system" light came on. I was in a panic mode. Didn't know what to do...is this because I didn't drive my car often enough? I called the place I used to go to. I could only make an appointment 1 week after. So I called another place that had good reviews. They said it will cost me 70 something dollars to just have a look and I may need to leave my car with them for the weekend... Someone from an online community recommended Town Garage. I called, Eddie (I think) answered and said to bring my car in rightaway and that he will take a look at my battery. Luckly I was able to start my car after few tries and I went to this place. Eddie checked my car for a few minutes and said, "You're okay. Brought my car in to have a hose replaced in the air intake system because my car failed it's smog check. They called me and told me they did not have the part. Was told that I could go to O'Reillys store and see if they have the part. Who asks a customer to go get their own part? I was then told that the store could probably install the part for me and if not, then I could bring the part to Town Garage and they could install it for me. I drove to O'Reilly's and they told me they did not have the part. Drove back to Town Garage and I told them that they did not have the part and with the failed smog check, I was told by the technician at the smog check station that there was no number on the air intake system because it was an after market. So I explained that to Eddie at Town Garage and told him to go ahead and replace the whole air intake system since I didn't want to have to deal with the whole smog check again in a couple of years. He said he needed to order the parts and to bring the car back in the morning and he would replace the whole system. I bring the car in the next day. To make a long story short, Eddie told my husband that he didn't need a new air intake system because it cost too much money so ended up not getting it and as far as replacing the hose that we intended to get fixed in the first place, he just turned it upside down so you couldn't see the crack/tear.
