My daily driver woudnt start the other day, so I had to call AAA to jump it. Turns out that it wasnt the battery - potentially the starter or fuel injection. I'm certainly not a car guy so none of that means anything to me. I went on yelp to look up local mechanics, and found Town Garage, so decided to bring my car over. Eddie and the other mechanic were pretty busy working on multiple cars by the time I got there around 9AM. I asked if he could check it out and passed along the info the AAA guy said. Within a few hours, I received a call form Eddie informing me of the diagnosis and the estimate. I signed off over the phone. In spite of being very busy, they were able to work on the fuel injection, inspect everything else same day and charge an incredibly competitive rate. Eddie is the best! Sometimes mechanics can be hard to trust, but Eddie is honest and fair and awesome to work with. I came in for broken headlights and he replaced the lights. He mentioned my brakes were bad (which I already knew) and my tires were bald (which I also knew) and got me a killer deal with the vendor next door for tires and got my brakes done as well for a reasonable price. This was a recommendation from my best friend and I too now highly recommend them! Unlike my dealership who will try to find something to charge me $500 on they just did what they're supposed to do which was an oil change and checked oils, fluids, and filters. And hardly had to pay as much as I do at my dealership. They are a trustworthy shop and will do the job without trying to add things just to up charge you. I pull up and the owner asked me what I wanted and I said I have an appointment to get my car serviced and he said he didn't have time for me. 20 minutes later, one of the mechanics came out of nowhere and said he wasn't feeling well and asked me if I could come back next week. I was buying a used Nissan Rogue and needed a full inspection to make sure that the car is ok. Eddie was very nice and professional, he made time to take my car in even though he was very busy and gave me a very reasonable price. When I came in for my appointment, Eddie finished everything in about 1 hour and was very honest about the condition of the car, he also gave me a detailed report and provided helpful advice regarding my Nissan. We always come here when we need our car checked or for an oil change. They are upright, honest people who won't try to upsell you with services, or say you need something that you don't have to urgently replace. It's about $40 for an oil change, so not the cheapest place around, but definitely the most convenient for us as they can usually get us in the day we need them.
