This was my first experience at this restaurant, along with my wife. Our server, Faith, was wonderful. She seemed rather knowledgeable concerning the menu, was very friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere of the place was pleasant, not overbearing. The food was absolutely incredible!! It was so good, I ended up having not one, but 2 salads. I started out with the Sonoma Steak salad, and finished off with a Zuni salad. Our appetizers were the deviled eggs and an order of wings. We liked the idea that the wings were not breaded as in most restaurants, as we are both on diets. And since the service was so good, as was the food, we will definitely be returning. We even took a second order of wings to take home! We spoke to the manageress, Brittany, who was visiting each table ... a trait not found in many area restaurants. We shared our thoughts regarding our visit, and appreciated her checking on our table along with all the others. This is a quality restaurant. We love this place. Of the neighborhood area restaurants, food quality here is above the rest. And they just recently added pizza, which is in line with the same standard of greatness. The ambience is great as well, nice, different music, and more upscale than surrounding offerings. Service always been superb. Would give 5+, excepting a problem with some sort of gnat or small flies, noticed most often in area to back and left as you enter. It's not prevalent, but does occasionally pose a problem. Such good food and great service! We went for lunch in the middle of the week so it wasn't that busy, it was slow and our waiter was very attentive. This place is very, very similar to The Tavern in Fort Worth, which was one of my favorite places when I lived closer to the Clearfork area. This is a little bit of a different ambiance: fairly modern, but still very trendy and hipster. I loved the fireplace accents and clear panels looking into the kitchen! I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos, which I routinely ordered at The Tavern because of how delicious it is. It did not disappoint: the slaw is amazing and has a bit of heat and tang to it, which really makes it a perfect compliment to the Mahi Mahi. I only wish I had gotten a bit more Mahi, as the portion was a bit small. While I did order a small glass of wine because I was driving, I definitely took note of the cocktail menu, which had some pretty impressive selections! Of note, the menu itself has some very similar dishes to The Tavern, but there are others that were different, especially the starter list. Overall, really enjoyed stopping here for drinks and dinner with a friend. On a Saturday night, this was the perfect vibe for a girl's night! I didn't initially leave a review for this place when we went beachside I didn't want to leave a review as bad as I was feeling when we left this place. But even after a month later I still have a sour taste in my mouth about it. A friend and I came here to try a new place. This is the location in Alliance Town Center. We were seated immediately, good start? Yup. After being seated it took maybe 10 minutes to have a waiter show up. He takes my drink order and leaves without even acknowledging my friend, we were stunned. She actually got up chased him down and placed her order. We waited 30 mores minutes for him to return...nothing. We wave our arms and flag him down, takes another drink order and takes another 30 minutes. After that he passed our table a number of times without even glancing our way. Mind you this place was not busy and he was passing us to wait on another table numerous times. No, we were not rude and were as friendly as can be, I do not believe there is a place for rudeness anytime. Our husbands were meeting us there, we called and said we will head to BJs the service is awful here. Took about 20 minutes to get our check even after waving him down. We visited again tonight. We started with the deviled eggs.They are spicy and very good. I had the Japanese miso salmon salad. It is excellent! I love the way the salmon is set off with the spicy noodles and herbs. My husband had the redfish with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was excellent. We also had cocktails-a margarita and a pomegranate martini. Both are good choices. The margarita is one of the best around the area-not too sweet. read more

This place was exceptional!!! I had the pork chop which was great (ask for a side of Miso Glaze!) My bride has the fish and chips, and wow they were great. I don't even like fish and chips and the taste I had was exceptional, the tartar sauce was outstanding, I even put some on my pork chops it was so good. We visited Towne Grill for the first time this evening. We will definitely be back! The food and service were outstanding. We had a burger, fries, deviled eggs, queso and topped it off with banana cream pie. All were outstanding! We especially enjoyed and appreciated the service. Wife and were out and about and noticed this place recently opened so we stopped in. So glad we did. This place has nice ambiance and decor. Pretty nice local joint! We really enjoyed our food as well. I had a Prime Rib French dip, which is probably one of, if not the best I have ever tried. The meat was so tender and seasoned very well. The poppy seed roll was very fresh. Wife had the fish and chips and noted how fresh the fish tasted. Service was prompt and they followed up to make sure everything was okay without being a nuisance. We just enjoyed another delicious meal at the Towne Grill in Alliance Heritage Center in Fort Worth TX. The food is always delicious. Today my wife tried the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. She doesn't like spicy food and was concerned about the "spicy slaw" on the sandwich. Our waiter Vinnie, took the time to explain how the "spicy slaw" was offset by the apples and mayo on the sandwich to create a very pleasing complimentary taste. He offered to have the slaw put on the side so my wife could sample it. Vinnie was correct, the spicy slaw, apples and mayo to have a very pleasing flavor palette. We have always enjoyed the Towne Grill because the staff is prompt and was knowledgeable everything on the menu. The food is great.
