Gorgeous, modern, sleek Town Grill is perfectly curated inside and out. I started with the Armenta's margarita and it is a fresh margarita that anyone would enjoy. At $10 the price point for bar items seemed fair. We skipped an extensive appetizer and had side house salads, usually dull food items, but not when you add Bacon Vinaigrette! The dressing is superb. For main meals, I took a specialty item of the Short Rib at $28, the meat was tender and moist, but the sauce on top was terrible. Way too much of whatever mustard-like combo it was; I scraped it off best I could and ate the meat. I recommended the staff check the sauce, as I doubt that was an intended flavor. I wasn't expecting anything else out of that conversation. Still, the manager came by promptly to investigate further, and I imagine the sauce was rectified, or it is a putrid sauce that my table agreed was yucky. The New York strip was another perfectly cooked meat entree and we left satiated. Service is terrific, the seating is comfortable, the plating is pretty, and almost everything is delicious. Recommend employee/manager training when a customer doesn't like something. I'm a more accessible customer in that I don't send food back and always pay my bill, but I want any establishment to fix issues for the next time. When a manager responds to a customer's request to QC something, and the response is "What's wrong with it?" that is accusatory or argumentative when the answer doesn't matter. If a person doesn't like it- they don't, and a "thank you for letting me know, I will look into it right away "would have sufficed. Not my everyday restaurant but certainly a good dining option when you want something special. read more

I decided to give town grill another shot, looks like they turned the corner on service. The waiter was super attentive at the front door. Everyone greeted me and I was promptly seated at my table. The drinks were amazing. I haven't had a better Moscow Mule in years. I love their trout. It was super moist and flavorful. I have mine edited to add mashed potatoes because I really like those again super flavorful.. the winner of the night is dessert you have to ask for their secret menu because they have desserts that aren't listed that are probably better than the ones that are listed. I would go for the brown sugar butter cake. It is listed, but it was probably 10 times better than everything else especially with the ice cream on top.. This isn't to say the Keylime pie is bad. It just wasn't as good as the brown sugar cake that wasn't listed on the menu all in all damn good night, especially with TV in the bar. read more

First time in... Just had a really nice dinner here, we really enjoyed the Salmon and the New York Strip. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the portions were generous for a fair price. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. It does seem as though they took a lot of ideas from another small restaurant chain, but we like that. Service was very good and attentive, although I would describe our server as a bit "awkward". He was young and probably new, but we really appreciated his effort. This location used to be Hooligans before it sadly closed many years ago. Tried this new place and inside looks like what I remember it and the bar which sat at. The selections for food have a nice variety without going overboard and not too small like the former restaurant. Hands down the best dinner I've had in YEARS!!!! The restaurant atmosphere gives tons of fine dining vibes but with a casual feel to it. Our server was quick, friendly and had great recommendations. When I say the service is top notch here I mean it. Management seemed to really be on top of things and we literally couldn't finish half our drinks without a refill. The food....Oh My Goodness....so so good! We started with the deviled eggs and they were delicious. I ordered the grilled meatloaf which was recommended by our server as well as several friends and my husband had a burger. I had no idea meatloaf could be elevated to this level but it was seriously the best meatloaf I've ever had. Service from MacKenzie was flawless, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing and the food was very special. I had the grilled meatloaf and this was 10/10. The char and sweetness mixed with the mushroom sauce gave the perfect umami bite. My wife had the sautéed spinach, which I tasted and it was the best I've had and the loaded baked potato soup (rich and creamy). We will be back often! read more

What a good experience.The food was served in timely manner and plenty hot.The Idaho trout was topped off with pecans, herbs, and lemon with creamy Cole slaw as side. Man that was good, the pecans blended perfectly with the trout and the lemon refreshed every bite. The Zuni Chicken salad Entree was plenty for Diana and looked marvelous. We both agreed the cast iron skillet Cornbread stole the show so soft moist inside each bite was savory it seemed to get better and better. Service was on point , our water never run low. We popped into Towne Grill for a family lunch together. We've tried almost all of the restaurants over here and wanted something new. The menu is clean, which I love having simple and clear cut choices. The pricing is about $20/person, typical grill pricing though. Our server, Matt, was super friendly and he let us take our time deciding on what to order. I went with the Cobb salad and hubs went with the fish and fries. That Cobb salad!!! Wow! It is tossed so the honey mustard dressing is evenly disbursed already versus most places that just top it with the dressing/let you top it and you're left having to stir it which causes leaves to fall out onto the table. I loved the avocado and tomato on the edges, eggs stirred in with bacon and ham. It was fresh leaves too! I was thrilled with this salad. I tried my husband's fish and fries which were deliciously cooked. The tartar sauce that comes with the fish was super good, he even ate it and he normally hate tartar sauce. this review is strictly for their happy hour. Their happy hour runs from M-F 3 to 6pm. When we got there at 5pm, it wasn't too crowded, but by the time we left, more people were showing up. We ended up getting 2 drinks (blood orange mule and the pomegranate martini), fries, cheeseburger, deviled eggs, fries and pacific dip. The only thing not from the happy hour menu was the pacific dip. The drinks were really tasty. I really enjoyed the blood orange mule, it was refreshing and very easy to drink. As for the food items, the deviled eggs and the pacific dip were the best ones. The cheeseburger was just alright, it was deconstructed and cut into fours to make it bite sized. since i don't live too far from this place, i'll definitely come back. Parking is a breeze, plenty of parking out in front. they also have a patio and a screen window to let in the fresh air. read more

Upon entering a man in a black suit greeted us he was friendly and accommodating. To the right, near the bar there was a sitting area for those potentially enjoying a cocktails or wait for a table. There were mostly booth tables. Our server was prompt and was knowledgeable regarding the menu. He also described the dishes he liked and why. We chose the grilled meatloaf and spaghetti with meatball. I was VERY impressed with the meatloaf. The grilling left areas of caramelization while cradling the soft meatloaf. The spaghetti on the other hand was underwhelming. The sauce was tomato sauce and LOTS of Parmesan, enough to, hopefully, make up for the overall blandness of the dish.
