    3 Gorditas Combo

WOW. Super impressed w/Toyoloco! The mini gorditas were perfect. Lightly crispy, flavorful, perfect amount of cheese and meat. Mini street tacos were fire too. Might be our new go to taco spot on the east side!

One of those late night discoveries after day drinking. The tacos here are amazing! I got the steak, fish tacos and a gringa while my friend got 3 steak tacos. We also got chips with salsa and guacamole. The tacos are pretty small but it's only $3 and full of flavor. I thought the fish tacos was amazing . I'll definitely have to come back and get one of each flavor next time.

Move over, Veracruz. The people have spoken and there's a new mayor in Taco Town. From the good ol' days of Torchy's and Tacodeli to crowd favorites Pueblo Viejo and Discada, there is a taco stand on virtually every corner of this city. Personally, I would never have the courage to open up a taco truck and brave the fierce competition. Lucky for us, Toyloco was up for the challenge. Their tacos aren't quite your typical cebolla-cilantro street tacos or your over-the-top queso-on-fried-chicken gringo tacos, but a perfect middle ground. Did you know you could put a fried egg in a taco? I didn't. To me, Toyloco's tacos are authentic tacos, enhanced and perfected. Some pickled red onions here, some queso fresco there, an avocado or two, and BOOM, you have yourself heaven on a tortilla. And did I mention that these are the best tortillas in town? Crispy but not crunchy. Light yet scrumptious. As round as they are delicious. A thing of beauty if you ask me. And the PRICE IS RIGHT. Nothing on the menu over $4, most hover a little under $3. Now, it is important to note that these tacos are slightly smaller than what you may be used to, so I recommend getting three (four if you're starving). So you're still walking away with a meal in the $10 range. I'll take it. Also, they're very quick on your order. I love me some Veracruz and Pueblo Viejo, but those 30-45 min wait times are killer. If you're hungry and can't deal with a wait, this place is a no-brainer. In conclusion, did I just discover this place three weeks ago? Yes. Have I been five times since? No comment. I recommend the taco favorito, the loco taco, fish, and shrimp.

Not impressed with their quesadilla. It was greasy and limp with hardly any cheese. The beef and bell peppers I requested to add were fine. The sour cream served on the side was nearly liquid. I'll trust the other reviews that they make good tacos, but quesadillas aren't their thing.

Excellent tacos. I had al pastor, campesano, and vampiro. These are my favorite places to eat at. Price is right and service is top notch.

6 Mini Taco Plate 3 Gorditas Combo

We ordered the six mini tacos of pastor and mini gorditas of carnitas. Both orders were really good, but we are definitely coming back for the tacos. The hibiscus and horchata drinks were also delicious. Overall a great experience with great service and food.

Excellent street tacos and still affordable. I had the camaron and pastor tacos and they both had great flavor. The pastor also had pickled cucumber on the side to add and it was perf. Will be back to try breakfast tacos!

The staff were kind and friendly too! I got the special of the week--a gyro taco-- and the fish n chips taco with a side of queso. He got the gyro taco as well and corn elote. The gyro taco was our absolute fave! The queso was so gooey and delicious, and the corn elote was everything too even though it wasn't on the cob. They have tacos, bowls, nachos... a really versatile menu suitable for any hungry person! They also have this velvet cake that I plan to get during my next visit--yes, we will be back!

Some tables could use a cleaning in between guests, but it was fairly clean. You order your food at the counter and they call you when it is ready. I ordered the grilled steak taco, rotisserie chicken taco and special taco of the week (pork dumpling smash taco). We also ordered the elote and queso to share. The elote was good, but very creamy and a bit heavy. The queso was good but tbh I prefer Torchy's. The grilled steak taco was a bit underwhelming, I wanted it to have more flavor, it just tasted like beef and cheese. The chicken had good flavor and the special weekly taco was enjoyable and interesting, not like any taco I have had before. There is plenty of variety for people including those with dietary restrictions. My friends ordered two tacos each and I was full after 3 tacos so if you are not a big eater stick with two.

Like your girl can eat tacos but I had never been one to be like let's go get some cause I am craving them. But man cuantos tacos can definitely get me saying I want and crave them! I thought prices were pretty fair at 2.75 a piece. After much researchon what to eat in Austin this is one of the spots that I saved as a bookmark. While I was in Austin, a foodie friend on Instagram shared with me her list of recommendations since she just moved to Austin not too long ago. I knew that Ihad to stop by Cuantos Tacos, I mean how often do you see a Michelin BibGourmand taco truck. We came here for dinner but it was cold, sprinkling, anddark out. Tables they had were wet from the sprinkle.  My family only triedthe suadero taco ($2.75 per taco) but OMG it was the best thing we ate duringour trip in Austin. It was super memorable, the meat was soft and the salsaadded the perfect kick to it. It's been a month, my husband and I are still daydreamingabout these tacos.  Tacos are madepretty fast, we had to order tacos 3x since they were so good, we kept wantingmore. Wait time was super reasonable. Staff are nice and if I lived closer Ican see myself coming here every taco Tuesday! This definitely is a must go tospot if you like tacos.   Tips: *Small parking lot *Outdoor seating only *Credit card accepted *Porta Potty in theback (night time it is pretty dark and hard to see) *They cater. *You can also orderonline for pick up. Tips: Credit card and cash accepted. Outdoor seating option only. Restroom is port a potties. Located in an area with other food trucks.

Making them costra style to add cheese for 50c is a nice touch too. The picnic seating kinda leaves a lot to be desired, my table was very broken. Staff is friendly and helpful in the truck!

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
