I was looking to get a new fuel efficient car and decided to look online at my local Toyota dealership. I found a Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid that hadn't been built yet but it was exactly the color and model I wanted that was fully loaded. I put in an inquiry through the website and Ryan Asuncion quickly emailed me and we chatted on the phone as well. I went to the dealership the next day to test drive a normal RAV4 to get a feel for the car. I liked how smooth the ride was. Today I was told as they have 3 bays- they schedule 3 appointments at the same time an appointments are 30 minutes apart! Today-at least when I was there- bay 3 no "no cars" My car in Bay 3- did not move even one foot from 2:26pm till I finally left 3:09pm (with no service) and I had already gone to parts departs to purchase engine filter- as there were still 4 cars ahead of me. We were in the market for a Toyota RAV4 hybrid which are hard to find these days. I stopped by Toyota Vallejo to see if they happened to have any with no luck, but Harry Doost put me on a list for the exact model and color we were looking for and with a refundable deposit of $500 we sat back and waited a couple of days until one came into the system. He contacted me to confirm I was still interested and after we agreed to the final price ( a few different specs than the basic agreement on a generic price we had) I simply sat back for a month or so while Harry kept me posted on the stages it was going through (final build, transfer to the docks in Japan, etc. and let me know once it was close to delivery to Vallejo Toyota. All very seamless and no pressure from the original purchase to the actual delivery. I was in the market for a Corolla Hybrid and with all the Toyota dealerships out there, I thought I would start by casting a net through the Costco & Sam's Club auto programs then see who had the best deal. We all know that it's a sellers market, dealerships would mark-up car prices, the days of negotiating below MSRP or even close to invoice price are LONG gone. That being said, I was looking for a dealership that would at least sell at MSRP to earn my business. I got calls/emails as far as Yuba City and San Jose, mostly with dealer mark-ups in the thousands! I was surprised that my local Vallejo dealership didn't reach out, I then realized that they may not be part of the Costco/Sams Club Auto Programs. Out of curiosity of what their offerings may be, I made an inquiry through their online website and immediately received an email from Internet Manager, Gladys Madison. After exchanging a few emails, and finding out that Toyota Vallejo was selling at MSRP, I didn't look anywhere else and finally called her. From the start, Gladys was awesome! She was patient, responded timely to all my emails, texts and phone calls. She explained the process reserving a car, to keeping us informed of what vehicles were arriving. When we finally went down to put a reservation deposit, Gladys even let test drive a similar Corolla Hybrid! To my surprise our car arrived within a week instead of 3 -6 weeks. Gladys throughly explained the display screens and assisted in setting up the Toyota app. It's been over a week and we still call her for help in explaining features, and she is always available to us. Absolutely awful! 10/10 would not recommend! My elderly parents purchased a car from them a little over a month ago. I attempted to assist my parents in returning the car but it was more than the 30 day period, so we asked them to buy it back. It's understandable that a vehicle loses value once it leaves the lot through depreciation but they tried to buy it back for HALF of the price my parents purchased it for 40 days ago with less than 600 miles added. When I pushed several times for a fair price, they still insisted they could only buy it back for $2000 under the Kelly blue book price I looked up WITH THE VIN# to ensure accuracy. Additionally, my parents had purchased 3 warranty's for a new car they bought outright. I asked why they purchased them- they said the sales rep INSISTED they NEEDED it. I asked the dealership to refund the amount. They tried to include it on the total offer to buy it back which still low-balled the final price. I spoke with the manager to see if there was anything else they could do to buy it back at a fair value and he insisted he already went above and beyond and could not help us. It seems like this dealership had no qualms taking advantage of senior citizens and had ZERO accountability. I realize it's a business, and people have to hustle to make sales but the absolute audacity to offer a sell back price for that low after taking advantage of my parents is disgraceful behavior. We are selling the car to a different dealership for a fair price and getting a separate partial refund by canceling the warranties. The apathy of the manager was outrageous. He could care less. Already an awful experience made worse by the person who should be making it right. Extremely disappointing. Do better, Toyota. read more

Amazing experience with the Service team. I meant to leave this review a couple weeks ago but have been busy with work. I just want to commend John NeSmith when I brought in my 2024 Toyota Tacoma off-road for maintenance. John did an amazing job handling the maintenance. He made sure to check to see if I was due for other services and sure enough, I was due for my 1 year mark to include oil change, multipoint inspection etc. I told John that my car was a little dirty and guess what he does, he ran my car through the washer after all the work that's been done. John also did an amazing job calling in for my Lyft drivers. I was actually in a time crunch but he took care of it fast and got me in and out of there in no time. *My Experience at Toyota Vallejo* I visited Toyota Vallejo this morning 10/30/2024 for an oil change and tire rotation service for my 2004 Toyota Tundra. While enjoying my coffee in the lobby, I observed two technicians working on my vehicle. One seemed confused, while the other was busy on his phone. As they finished, I noticed my truck being lowered and prepared for departure. Concerned, I asked the technician if he had performed the tire rotation. He apologized, admitting he hadn't done it, despite my explicitly requesting and paying for it. This isn't my first experience with such oversight at Toyota Vallejo. Couple months , I had a similar issue with my Toyota Camry 's service. I spoke with the service manager( Michael Voss) , who apologized and offered to waive the tire rotation charge. I insisted on paying but emphasized the need for improved quality control measures to prevent such mistakes. If I hadn't monitored the service from the lobby, would the job have been done? Customers pay for services expecting quality work. Neglecting tasks can be perceived as scam-like. To fellow customers, ensure you supervise your vehicle's service at Toyota Vallejo. My intention isn't to loose the job of the 2 technicians but to emphasize focus and accountability. Their routine tasks require attention, not rocket science. *Recommendations:* 1. My experience with buying a used truck from Toyota Vallejo Was great! I recommend going with Ryan Asuncion, the Internet sales manager, if you're thinking about purchasing. Very informative and shows from his actions that he loves serving his customers. He went up to bat for me regarding a silver certified pre-used warranty when I had an unusual issue with my trucks starting up. I brought it into a different location which had service staff working that didn't know how warranty's work and that they should honor any Toyota warranty, regardless of if I purchased it at their location or not. They tried to charge me out of pocket for service that should be covered under warranty. These guys got on the phone with them and cleared everything up with their management while I was still there waiting for them to finish up. Everything got covered, and I'm back on the road! Been here twice to get routine maintenance and they've been super fast. I probably wait about 45 min for my car to be done. They have a coffee and hot coco machine in their lobby area, and also 2 separate seating areas to sit while you wait. The service advisors all seemed friendly and helpful. One of them informed me that my car gets synthetic oil which gets changed every 10,000 miles, not every 5,000 which I did not know. Definitely would return to get future maintenance here! TIP: They don't advertise this, but you're able to buy a maintenance package that's good for 2 years or 5 routine maintenance services (whichever comes first). Highly recommend this if you know you will be getting routine maintenance every 6 months. Savings for your car maybe about $300 over 2 years read more

I bought a truck off them a couple months back that as soon as I got on to the freeway at cruise it had a shake that I didn't catch on the test drive since the sale person told me to get it to freeway speeds on the street nearby but never got to cruise it on the freeway. Within a week of having it truck broke down called them and the very first thing they told me was "Well you bought the truck nothing we can do about it but maybe look at it" they "fixed" it next day from me getting it back check engine light came back on. I looked under the truck and noticed a huge oil leak on the transmission are and took it to another dealer who told me the truck actually needs a transmission and it seemed like the leak was just cleaned off, I am assuming to sell it.
