Confirmed the appointment the day before, and notified his ETA day of. All this was prior to even starting the service! I had called about a backed up pipe which Eddy and his team were able to hydrojet. He took the time to explain the process and what it was that they were doing which I greatly appreciated. In addition, Eddy took into account the fact that other drain pipes feed into this one exit pipe and made sure those routes were clear. Jobs like these can get messy but they tried their best to minimize any water flow in the garage and spent time after cleaning up. I am blown away by the service and pricing of this Son & Pop company. We have been living in our house for 25 years, so back then most of the piping in front of the house was made of clay. As Eddie was explaining, newer homes use plastic since it's more durable, resistant to calcium buildup, and harder for roots to penetrate. I originally contacted Done Rite Plumbing and they RIPPED ME OFF. (I will consider not bashing on their own site for now to leave this here). Dave from Done Rite charged me an outrageous $400+ for a minor job that should cost HALF that- all he did was snake a camera and temporarily flushed the problem out (come to find out it would cost an additional $1500 ON TOP of what I had already paid to fix the actual problem, complete BS.) I was pretty numb after Done Rite raped my checkbook. As my senses came back, I started calling other Rooter companies to gage their opinion. I explained my situation to Eddie, and immediately he knew I had been ripped! He offered to come snake a camera and SHOW me the problem before starting any actual work. Fast forward a month, he and his team broke concrete, flushed out the line, replaced 8 feet of piping, within 2.5 hrs for under $1200. **WE GOT A GOOD DEAL AND PAID A FRACTION OF THAT, BUT YOU'LL HAVE TO CALL EDDIE FOR YOURSELF ;)** I am BEYOND satisfied by his customer service. I am very happy that I found TP Rooter! For about a week whenever the washer is run we hear gurgling in the toilet and see soap bubbles. Wary of being overcharged like always, maybe because I'm a gal and don't have expert plumbing knowledge, I wait...and wait...and uh-oh, waited too long. It's now Saturday morning, one toilet won't flush and when the other is used there is water coming out the exterior clean-out. I do not want sewage down my driveway, especially because the neighbor is having a bridal shower later today. Called TP Rooter because of their 5-star rating and Yelp review pictures of tree roots in a mainline and I'm sure that is my problem. The review said prices were fair so I give a call. Eddy answers right away, I explain my problem and ask if they have Saturday service. "No problem," he says, but then I explain that the neighbors are hosting a bridal shower at 2 pm so is there any way they can come out this morning? Eddy tells me it's not a problem, quotes me a price, tells me their equipment will do the same work as a hydro-jet for 1/2 the cost. Eddy is at my house within an hour and water is flowing well shortly after. The biggest delay (20 minutes) was my fault because I forgot to hit send when texting my address. I was charged a price that I would expect to pay for a pre-booked weekday appointment, even though it was a Saturday, under urgent conditions. So great! Here is the part I really appreciated. Eddy said he doesn't think it's tree roots, but maybe our 54-year-old clay mainline has separated at a connection. Eddy recommends we have a camera run to see where the problem is. He says that they often only need to fix a section that has come apart and he wouldn't recommend a full sewer main unless absolutely needed. Plus, they deduct the camera fee from the repair quote if we book the repair with their company. He doesn't want me to feel pressured to do the work right away, it should be fine for a while, and he doesn't want me to have to pay for unnecessary work. Refreshing! These guys are incredibly good at what they do. They went so far above and beyond anyone else, I had to take a minute to tell the Yelp world. Guest toilet was draining slowly. Automatically thought of our friend who spends way too much time in our bathroom every time he visits. Called around, most rooter places wanted $300 - $500 to clear a line / send down a camera / video tape it and give it an Academy. Saw review of TP Rooter on yelp, gave Eddie a call, and he was over the same day (on his day off, with his girlfriend in tow). We found the sewer clean-out, and Eddie quickly went to work, clearing out the sewer line between the clean-out and the street. It took a while because of the mess of tree roots in the pipe, but he finished the job while his girlfriend waited patiently (and even helped). I explained the backup issues, and he offered to come immediately. After initially snaking a sink and having seemingly no luck snaking a shower, he tried the main. Everything opened up nicely.
