Came here for a cold refreshing drink and was not disappointed. Picked this out of the many in the area due to the ability to customize tea strength. Ordered their boba milk tea with stronger tea flavor and wasn't disappointed. Rich black tea flavor and the boba was just the right amount of chew.
Love the bubble tea here! The tea has a strong flavor instead of being overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. When I visited, they were also running a World Cup BOGO promotion, making it an even better value. Definitely worth stopping by if you're craving a quality cup of bubble tea.
Yuzu osmanthus green tea at 30%, less ice, regular tea strength was a perfect thirst quencher. The tea was a perfectly balanced citrus to tea ratio and not-too-sweet. The service is standard and ambiance feels natural. There is small amount of seating (seats 5 or so people). The drinks are a little expensive. I think this was a $6.75 drink. I'd come back to try the boba.
I love that they let you choose how strong you want your tea. A lot of places serve tea that's very diluted and just not good. I like my tea strong! The eggy cakes are nice, I love the filling choices.
Came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. They have 2 kiosk machines where you can place your order and I ordered their yuzu osmanthus green tea, tieguanyin milk tea, and their yuzu custard egg cakes. Their yuzu osmanthus green tea was refreshing and perfect if you don't want anything too heavy. The yuzu wasn't very overpowering and the green tea flavor was still prominent. The only thing is I couldn't really taste any osmanthus. The tieguanyin milk tea was a surprise as it wasn't too milky or heavy. It had just the right amount of sweetness (I chose 30% sugar as I don't like anything too sweet). The tea flavor was strong and you can tell they use better tea base compared to other competitors. The yuzu egg cake was soft and fluffy, and the yuzu custard was smooth with just the right amount of citrus flavor. Each other comes with 5 little cakes and they are also made with a super cute mold. Overall, I enjoyed their tea and cakes. They have a wide selection of teas on their menu, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas, and I particularly like their tea base. I would definitely go back to try out other items on their menu.
By far my fave bubble tea place in NYC. You have to try the no-frills classic black milk tea with boba - easy to drink and sooo smooth. Nice clean ambiance, fast service. This location tasted 80% similar to the one I had in Taiwan, which is pretty impressive considering we're thousands of miles away.
Tried their ube fresh milk drink and really enjoyed the small chunks of ube in the drink (wish there was a bit more of it though). It is a decent non-caffeinated drink option. You can adjust sugar, ice, and milk type (organic whole milk, soy milk, or oat milk). Ordering is done via the kiosks by the window. The interior was clean with some bar seating on the right. I really like that they have a place to sit as many of the other bbtea places are takeout only. Looking forward to trying their other drinks, such as their osmanthus series.
Today I ordered the coconut ube bubble milk tea, soooooooooo good!!! Tons of coconut flavor and the ube tasted fresh. It took a while, but it was really good!! Overall: Will definitely go back if in the area.
Had TP Tea for the first time in Taiwan and really liked it so was surprised to find them in NYC too. The classic milk tea is the best and I especially like it when there is grass jelly in it. This location is pretty spacious and there are some seats for you to enjoy your bubble tea. But of course it can get crowded sometimes.
I orderer my usual black tea with foam cap and boba and it was so GOOD! Amazing tea quality and flavor, perfect sweetness level (50%) and the boba was just the right size and chewiness. 10/10 across the board.
Had an oolong milk tea (no sugar) with red bean and it was great. It's clear that the ingredients are high quality and I loved how I could choose to have a stronger tea in the drink. It wasn't too busy on a Monday afternoon but I can definitely see the place getting crowded on weekends.
This is THE place to go for mango pomelo sago. I was sad that Partea NYC closed its Flushing location, but TP Tea does this drink even better! So creamy, flavorful, and lots of sago!
Had to get two passion fruit green teas on this trip, I love this tea spot so much!! I appreciate that you can choose the strength of the tea. The place gets busy but the wait is not too long. We sat inside eating our custard treats and they were playing fun music, not too loud :)
A friend put this place on my radar and I'm so glad that she did! The interior architecture is minimal and serene. Fortunately, there wasn't a long wait for a new establishment. Roughly about 20 minutes total. They had 4 different recommended drinks and I was able to try 3 out of 4 of them. The Taiwan Classic Milk Tea came with 3 toppings (boba, grass jelly, and QQ Noodle) for $7.50. The tea taste was strong and the 3 different types of jellies gave the drink good texture. The Strawberry Green Milk Tea, $7, was refreshing and tasted like strawberry ice cream. Mango Pomelo, $8.25, was pretty standard and what you would expect from this drink. Super pretty store and option to order with a person or at the kiosk! I got the to family milk tea - 4.5/5 The tea flavor is probably the best I've ever had. Super flavorful tea with no bitterness, wateryness, and blended well with the milk! I can't wait to try this again. The boba itself is average, taro balls are good but not the best I've had and same with the pudding. The cafe itself is beautifully designed with so many pretty tea cups and perfectly cut out spaces for them on the walls. Very clean and bright read more

New taiwanese bubble tea shop in flushing! Right on Prince Street. Very clean and modern inside. You can order at the counter or there is a electronic kiosk as well. They have various teas - black tea, oolong, Tieguanyin, fruit teas and soy milk as well. Long variety of toppings - boba, coffee jelly, qq noodles, grass jelly. Pretty large sizes as well for the iced drinks. Got the TP boba milk tea. The bubbles itself are not very sweet and a good chew and the tea had a good flavor. Only downside is that the tea felt slightly diluted as compared to when we tried it in Seattle. I'd come back to try their other milk teas as well. Price is pretty standard for boba in the area. read more

Hidden gem! The interior is absolutely adorable--very well decorated and most importantly, noticeably CLEAN. You have the option of ordering by the counter or via kiosk, which is so convenient. Coming here right after a banquet was probably not the best choice for my stomach, but I thoroughly enjoyed my passionfruit tea nonetheless! read more
I'm not a huge bubble tea person, but my family is. And despite just having a huge banquet style dinner in celebration of the Chinese New Year, we still managed to have room for bubble tea. This fairly new bubble tea place is clearly where you want to get your bubble tea from. It's clean, bright and hustling with lots of people happy to wait for their drinks. Albeit, a short wait with a well-staffed team behind the counter. There are lots of choices. The menu offers extensive choices both hot and cold, but just one size. We were so excited to try our drinks that I forgot to take photos. Sorry! Know that everyone was happy! Worth the trip especially if you like bubble tea. read more

We passed by this spot and it was fairly bustling! On the way back, it was still busy but less so than before so we decided to give it a try. It's a cozy spot with some hightop seats against the wall. We ordered the TP Family Milk Tea, which comes with boba, taro balls, and pudding, and the TP Milk Tea. The teas were really great, although they were still fairly sweet even with 30% sugar. I liked the Family Milk Tea because of the combos it came with. The taro balls and pudding went really well with the tea. Overall, this is another great bubble tea spot in Flushing that's worth visiting if you're in the area. I love that it's slightly away from the usual crowded boba spots in Flushing, making it a great spot to stop at if you're looking for something a bit more lowkey with great quality boba tea. read more
Newly opened in Flushing, TP Tea serves quality tea. My personal favorite is their TP Tea with QQ noodles which offers a deeper brew of tea. While I can't quite describe the texture of the QQ noodles, except nice and chewy, the QQ noodles are def not a topping I've seen at other bubble tea shops. Their strawberry green tea is also delightful - and tastes more like a blend of tea, yogurt, and smoothie. Note: - Regular sugar level is very sweet. I go with 15% sugar here compared to 30% at other bubble tea shops. read more

As a huge fan of classic milk tea and having tried bubble tea from across Asia, Europe, and America, I can confidently say that TP Tea in Flushing serves the best black milk tea I've ever had. The tea is of exceptionally high quality, with the perfect balance of tea, dairy, and sugar. They have a generous portion size, especially considering the great price. The location is a bit further from the heart of Chinatown in Flushing, but it's still easily accessible and well worth the visit. If you're a fan of black milk tea, TP Tea is a must-try. read more
I liked that they have a kiosk where you can order yourself since I sometimes I kind of feel rushed when trying to decide what to order. Loved the QQ TP milk tea which had noodles, boba and coffee jelly. But my absolute favorite is the Yuzu Osmanthus Slush. It was so refreshing on a hot summer day. Great for kids since there is no tea in it so no caffeine. They do have one with green tea which was also great. From ordering at the kiosk and getting my drinks, it was a simple and fast process. read more

A cool down to battle a plaguing heat wave in NYC calls for bubble tea in Flushing. How enamored I am with Bubble Tea on a stifling hot summer day. There was no wait and no line upon entering - whoo-hoo! One green tea passion fruit $7.00 with grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is a whooping $1.00 for topping. Four stars for this business due to the extreme lack of English language skills as Limited English Proficiency (LEP) for the cashier server and the lack of engaging with customers for clarity of communication to better serve (e.g. how much sugar do you want in your drink? 15%; 30% or 100% sugar level). The woman cashier assumed I want 100% sugar by entering into my order without inquiring, but I had to reprimand with a strong correction of 15% sugar for my order details. Former NYC Mayor Bloomberg would have been surly been proud of TP Tea controlling sales distribution and my consumption intake of sugary drinks. While I do not like excessive sugary drinks I do like a tad small percentage of sweetness. The amount of ice was insufficient as defensive against the intense heat wave that my drink became warm within half hour consuming it slowly to savor the grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉. On a stifling hot summer day I like my bubble tea plastic cup to be sweating condensation from the ice which did not happen. There is no option for small as medium size is consider their large of 22 ounce. Stepping inside while waiting for my order to be fulfilled was a relief to absorb their working air conditioning. There is very minimal seating with tables, but one long ledge for standing which set a phlegmatic atmospheric setting of a stifling hot summer day break. Meh! read more

Heard about this place from friends and had to check out the only location nearby in Flushing. Busy inside with limited seating but the orders came out quick enough. We got two popular drinks, the Taiwan classic and the tieguanyin tea, both of which were good! I really enjoyed the qq in the classic and the tea was adjustable in terms of strength. The tea in both was full body and present, typical of a good Taiwanese tea chain. If you're a fan of Chi Cha San Chen then this place would be enjoyable for you! read more

I am so happy TP Tea is here in NY! I used to live in the Bay Area and went to TP Tea there a lot. I believe TP Tea is the American offshoot of a famous (maybe the first?) Taiwanese tea chain. I was wandering Flushing on the lookout for the ideal bubble tea choice after a disappointing Mets loss, and was planning to go to Teazzi (of which I am a fan), but nothing on their menu was exciting me. Lo and behold I found TP Tea a couple blocks up! I practically ran there. The taste so far is identical to the bay, though it seems like there's fewer fruit tea options which is sad because that's all my husband drinks. I just went back yesterday after a second Mets game in a week (we won this time!) and I got a mango passion slushy in addition to milk tea. Even though I couldn't adjust the sweetness on the slushy it wasn't too sweet, and had chunks of mango, very tasty (though the boba could have been a little sweeter). The bubble tea competition in Flushing is pretty fierce (and I just saw another one under construction, it's a little much), but TP Tea is always gonna be in my top 5 now. An influencer I follow loves their TieGuanYin (which is a bit sweeter than regular milk tea) and their strawberry milk. Not my faves but they are highly recommended! read more

I really wanted this TP Tea location to be good especially since I like it so much in the bay. I got the tie guan yin tea latte and made sure that I got it with strong tea. However, the tea was flavor was very mild. The milk was creamy, but it overpowered the tea a lot. The boba was good though. Stayed consistent between locations. read more
This review is based on my first visit experience. I came here on a holiday and it was packed inside. That should've probably steered me away. I went in and ordered with the cashier. Got my receipt and pickup number. After 10 minutes, the manager it seems like came around writing down everyone's order number of those who are standing around waiting. At this point, nobody knew what was going on and the manager didn't explain until after about 15 minutes and it seemed like the crowd inside was not budging and everyone started asking about their order did the managers and workers start to explain that their system was down. The order stickers weren't printing and they had to manually write down everyone's orders and tape them to the cups. It was a mess and amidst all this, probably only about 2-3 workers were actually making the drinks while the other 3 are trying to figure out the system. The drinks that were made and sitting there weren't even picked up, while the people in the store waiting for their drinks for 20+ minutes were still waiting for their orders. It was a huge mess and I understand it was a system issue, but it was handled very poorly and in a disorganized manner. Anyways, I had ordered a TP family milk tea with boba, taro balls, and pudding. When I finally got my drink, I was super annoyed already and all everyone got was a "sorry for the wait." Left pissed because I went over my parking limit time because of the wait and had to pay extra. The drink itself was already $8+, which is not cheap but seems to be the norm with bubble tea prices nowadays. First sip, I thought the drink was OK. But after finishing, I have to admit I really like this drink. The bubbles are soft and chewy and the taro balls are chewy and added great texture to the drink. It was an interesting drink and I don't think I've tried taro balls in my milk tea before. Based on this experience alone, I can't rate TP Tea any higher than a 3 star. However, the drink was a 5/5. I have to admit I did return and ordered the same drink again. The second visit was a much better experience. Fast service and was able to self order on the kiosk. Got my drink within 2 minutes this time. Would recommend. read more

One of my top favorite bubble tea spots. The milk green tea is floral, reminded me of my other favorite bubble tea spot. I enjoyed the QQ noodles and pudding with my milk tea. It's very filling. They have a self ordering kiosk that is only for credit card or you can order with them and pay cash or credit. It can get very sunny and hot in the shore since they are facing the sun with a large window. Very modern establishment with a few stools to sit and enjoy your drinks. read more

Time to get our beverages. i show her my app with my name on it? than she give us our beverages? for $7.50 with tax around $8 something not worth buying ... Stopped by for drinks after dim sum at Dim Sum Garden and ordered a mango pomelo sago and a 3Q TP Milk Tea that comes with boba, QQ noodles, and coffee jelly and a strawberry green milk tea. Everything was sooooo good!! My favorite was the strawberry green milk tea and if I had to compare it to a familiar drink - it would be meet fresh's strawberry smoothie. I was surprised that this drink was a slush but still loved it. The milk tea one was rich in flavor and tasted a lot like coffee because of the coffee jelly but I also loved it. The wait wasn't super long but you can tell it gets crowded. Highly recommend to try this place! read more
After going to the TP Tea in Seattle and SF, I was soooo excited to hear that TP Tea arrived in NY! However, I was quite disappointed with the result here. The bubbles/boba were watery and soggy, and the tea was extremely diluted. I tried the very well-known Tie Guan Ying (Golden Buddha) latte with bubbles at 30%, and was disappointed with the experience. On top of this, a standard drink was very short of $8! The ambiance was lovely, but was fairly disappointed by the drink. I hope they work this out soon, I miss TP TEA... read more
One of the popular Taiwanese tea brand finally arrives in NYC but they need to expand the menu selection and servicing hours in the weekend . The specialty osmanthus tea was out of supplies at the time we came. Service is friendly but needs to add more seating in the front and more organization for the line/ order taking/ order pickup. the jasmine tea is quite nice and refreshing. I would return to try more tea. read more

So excited to see TP Tea has finally arrived in NY! I used to get TP Tea when I was living the Bay Area, CA. Highly recommend the osmanthus green tea with QQ noodles. The QQ noodles were cooked perfectly and very chewy. It's like boba but in noodle form. I usually order my drinks with 30% sugar and it had the right amount of sweetness. The teas are brewed strong so it will definitely wake you up! read more

Bubble tea from Taiwan finally opened here. Was really excited for it. Got three of their most recommended drinks and they were solid. Strawberries green tea drink was really good and it tasted like strawberry icecream. The mango pomelo sago was really nice and refreshing. The Taiwan bubble tea wasn't bad but the fruit drinks are probably the star in my opinion. The staffs were really nice for a soft opening and definitely a place to try! read more
