I LOVE this location! Really awesome customer service, and the wait time is always very short. I'm used to waiting for 40 minutes for my boba at the old San Mateo and Burlingame location, so I am extremely happy with this location. Its amazing that I literally love every single combination of tea flavors. Texture of the boba is always PERFECT. Always chewy, and not hard/crusty. Here are a few of my favorites: -Lychee,Rose Green Tea -Mango, Stawberry, Passion Black Tea (my favorite) -Green Apple, Peach Green Tea -Salted Carmel, Coconut Black Milk Tea (extremely sweet w/ normal sugar level, but still good!) -Lychee, Watermelon Green Tea -Honey Tangerine Black Milk Tea (very sweet as well w/ normal sugar level. i recommend a lower sugar level) Also, if you're not happy with your drink, the barista will always remake it for you. I'm a rose milk tea kinda gal, and I'm pretty particular about where to get it, but Tpumps has Rose Vanilla Milk Tea (or even regular Rose Milk Tea). Drinking this foiiineeee drink makes me wanna get it over and over and over again... like the energizer bunny, yo! Also, my BF introduced me to fruity flavored drinks here, such as Mango Milk Tea, which I am completely indebted to him for. Tpumps can make this boba drink like no other! I'm such a sucker for it now. Not to mention, they have FREE SAMPLES. Who doesn't love free samples?! They also come up with awesome concoctions that not only lures costumes in, but also makes you hooked on the drinks they have. They have friendly service, little wait (usually), but the place is small so expect to get yo drinks and get outta there. Cold drinks are $3.50 (small) and $4.50 (large). Love Tpumps!! They always greet me warmly and a few people recognize me when I come in, as I come in pretty regularly. I love being able to combine so many flavors, but I usually stick to Coconut-Honey, Coconut-Mango, or Coconut-Passion all with black milk tea :) If anything is not to my liking, I'm always welcome to ask them to fix the drink and they are quite friendly about it so I've never "felt bad" for asking to change the drink...even though that rarely happens anymore. My family loves Boba drinks. Tpumps is our favorite. The Foster City location is our favorite Tpumps. Their staff has been around the longest and has had the least turnover. So they have gotten their craft down pretty well. The boba is always warm and chewy. Their Honey Boba is the best! The drinks are made from torani syrup. Thats a bummer if your looking for fresh fruit. But the syrups are a much much better flavor than the powders most boba places use. And Because they use the syrups you have a near unlimited choice of flavor combinations to choose from. If you've never been, I reccomend taking a look at their "Top 10" board and picking from there. They have a satifaction guarantee that they gladly honor. If you're unhappy with your drink in anyway (too sweet, not enough flavor) just let them know and they will make the change. read more

There were maybe 2-3 people head of us so the wait wasn't that long relative to their old location in San Mateo where the line was always insanely long. Parking was ample and they were giving out samples of different drinks to try while we waited a minute or so before it was our turn to order. Overall it was great. ATMOSPHERE The place was really really small and there weren't any tables or anything so its not a place you can order drinks and relax in. Its pretty much order to go. FOOD I don't think believe they serve any actual food but their bubble tea is some of the best available in the Bay Area as far as bubble tea places I have tried. OVERALL It was great. The boba is pretty delicious if you're looking for just something sweet to have but they are just syrups so don't come here looking for real ingredients. My problem with them is their lack of attention to detail. I've been here twice this week and both times, they managed to disappoint me. The first time, they had my drink ready to be called out but it was hidden behind some other cups so my name never got called. After waiting about 20 minutes or so, I asked where my drink is and they had to go find it. The second time I went, I ordered a drink with boba and it's clearly written on the cup but it came without boba. So double check your drinks before walking out! I didn't realize I didn't have boba until I was already on my way to work in the car so it was too late for me. :( read more

When I jumped in line they served everyone with a sample of one of their drinks which was refreshing! Not sure what it was, but it had a fruity taste. I got the chocolate strawberry vanilla milk tea and it was SUPER sweet, (I'd expected it to be, one sip of it and it just was too strong..) I tried my aunt's drink which was taro strawberry coconut, much better but also sweet, not as sweet as mine though. Absolutely terrible - this location has been opened since the beginning of the month, and there is still no sign or banner on the building to announce its location. Not only is this Tpumps just as small as its former San Mateo location (though better ventilated), there is still no seating available to customers. The tea is extremely watered down, and 70% of the cup is filled with ice. The taro add-on are large awkward chucks of taro, and they neither have a spoon nor a properly sized straw to consume these taro bits. Your only option is ripping off the plastic top covering, and jabbing your straw into the taro chunks and delicately balancing the straw so that the pieces can be consumed. I gave this place three tries since they've opened, and no matter what flavor I choose, the tea is always unnecessarily diluted and sickeningly sweet, even when I ask for no sweetness. The dixie cup of sample tea that the staff hand out while you wait in line taste absolutely nothing like the tea you order, but that's the only bit of full, robust tea flavor you'll experience in the shop. Two stars for the customization aspect of all Tpumps in general, and for choosing a location with adequate parking. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR T PUMPS WEDDING CATERING ------------------------------------------------------------------- Desperate to find a place that would cater bubble tea at my wedding in wine country, I reached out to Tpumps and quickly got a reply from Alex, the owner and founder of Tpumps. From my googling, there are only a few options for bubble tea wedding catering in the Bay Area, and Tpumps is one of them (the other two I contacted were Boba Guys and ShareTea). Little did I know that I made the absolute best choice, for so many reasons that I will try and condense in this review! 1. Taste. My fiancee introduced me to Tpumps a few years ago, and I was initially overwhelmed at the number of flavors and customization. I am a lover of pure tea-based bubble tea (not milky), and quickly settled on some favorites - mango green being among them. I appreciate that they use high quality tea, which comes through fabulously as long as you don't have too many flavor syrups in one drink. The boba is soft and chewy, which my husband loves! We ordered two flavors for our wedding, the mango peach passion green tea and the blackberry peach black tea. Our guests LOVED the flavors! 2. Price. There are two options: self-pick up ($3.5/drink) and hosted catered tea with Tpump staff ($7/drink). We went with the self pick up option because it was cheaper and our wedding caterer was very flexible and was willing to help serve at our wedding. With this option, the cost was $105 per large tea tank, which was enough to make about 60 small (12 ounce) drinks. It came with free boba, straws, cups, lids, and serving ware. Total came out to be $210, which is amazingly affordable and was easily one of the biggest hits of the wedding. 3. Customer service. We had a lovely complimentary tea tasting that Alex put together, and it was fabulous! I brought along the husband's family, and we got to sample an unlimited number of flavors and combinations of flavors. Alex was also nice enough to include a snack assortment (strawberries! pretzels!) and hosted us at a Tpumps of our choice (we did it at the Cupertino location). The Tpumps team was VERY easy to communicate with over email, often answering my endless emails on the same day or the next day! On the day of the wedding, they made the tea perfectly and exactly to our specifications; they were flexible about the location that it could be picked up from, and our friend (who lives in Foster City) picked it up there. Abraham, the manager, was even kind enough to call me when he discovered that he forgot to include the cup lids, and even volunteered to drive them up to our wedding, which was 2 hours north in wine country! I was blown away by that. Luckily he didn't need to do that (we had another guest pick them up), but I was very touched by the gesture. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Tpumps for wedding catering in the Bay Area to all of my friends and really anyone who will listen to me wax poetic about how much me and my husband loves bubble tea. It was a flawless, amazing, and tasty experience, and I will never forget it! read more
