Welcome to Jamba of Foster City.
    Carl N.

When you're so exhausted from a hike (2,517 feet) and dead beat. I'm ready to fuel up with a good açaí bowl and fruit veggie smoothie. Jamba Juice of Foster City is a juice chain bar restaurant that offer açaí bowls and smoothies. I had the Strawberry Banana bowl and Apple 'n Green smoothie. Staff were amiable and professional and followed health protocol. Prices were fair. Plenty of parking space. Overall, I am satisfied with my order experience and food/drink.

Jamba's a great choice especially during hot summer days. Trips to this Jamba are made even easier with mobile ordering on the app ahead of time. Love that it gives us points too. We've redeemed points for a free drink here and there. My fav drink here is the white gummi. It's tart but not too tart and super refreshing! Don't forget your free boost. I always get the immunity boost.

Strawberry and banana Greek yogurt bowl

When did Jamba get so stingy?? ): It was my first, and definitely my last, time trying this location. I ordered a strawberry and banana Greek yogurt bowl and this thing cost me $12.59 +tax which I find INSANE considering how the bowl isn't even filled up all the way. I'm pretty disappointed because I truly believe I could've gotten this pretty basic bowl (maybe even one with more ingredients) anywhere else for less than $10. Update: scrolling through the photos of other bowls posted for this Jamba and they are all filled up way more than mine wtaf ///: I agree with the review saying Jamba should just close down I'm so done with them.

LOVE Jamba over the years ... BUT the price of my favorite smoothie Mango-a-gogo is now up to Small $10 / Med $11 / Large $12. Count it against Bidenflation or higher corporate profit margins; I can make it at home for pennies in the dollar. McD's or Costco offer the same flavor for almost HALF the price. Now I can take it or leave it!

This is the result of me using their QF image to try to give feedback.

Had the worst experience ever, and I used to be a frequent customer. From the employee who didn't know how to make change to the watery, tasteless drink I was served, to the QF image on the receipt that didn't work, the whole visit was a letdown. And at almost $9 a drink, it's doubtful that I'll be wanting to return anytime soon. To make matters worse, I actually sent in my feedback to their website and have been ignored. Just dreadful!! Who is in charge of customer service these days???

I don't think there is much to say about this place. Good service, high prices. My wife and I came in on a Saturday evening and the place was pretty empty. There were two other customers inside looking at the menu, so we went straight to the register. We ordered a cookies and cream smoothie and the Caribbean passion. About one minute later the smoothies were already done. I was impressed with the speed. Then again, when four people are behind the counter and there is only one order going through, I guess it should be quick. Either way, I was happy with the speed of service. The young lady behind the counter was also very helpful. My wife has allergies and asked for the ingredients in the cookies and cream smoothie. She gave us the ingredients quickly and was very helpful. As for taste, they taste like smoothies. I can't say that I've had an amazing smoothie before. They were good. The only thing I can complain about is the price. Nearly $10 for medium size... especially for me when the medium is so small in my hands

I usually come here for breaks at work. I only really have ordered the wheatgrass and ginger shots. They usually take a while to make. I've waited 20-25 mins for wheatgrass shots If you have the time and don't mind the wait, then it's great. If you're in a rush, I recommend ordering about half an hour ahead of time to be safe

Only 2 people (Saturday crew) working and even though I've been waiting for 10 mins these kids are hustling...store manager needs to realize when the weather gets hot it will be busy...the 'smoothie engineer' is making smoothies, washing the blenders, hauling more ingredients from the back and keeping on top...the female worker is cashier and making the fresh veggie smoothies as fast as she can... Great job guys (Asian girl with pony tail and guy with glasses and hat) on trying their best to keep things flowing despite being majorly short-staffed! Can't give them low rating for waiting (17mins) as they're awesome and haven't slowed down though I do hear people arnd me checking their watches and sighing...uh oh!

I got an iced HK style coffee + milk tea which I've never had before but was so delicious. I'd definitely come back to try the other fruity drinks too! we ordered the tom yum noodles, preserved vegetables & pork noodle soup, salt & pepper fries, and the HK style french toast with peanut butter. the french toast was our favorite- it was fluffy and chewy and was just like the HK classic. the noodle dishes were both so hearty and flavorful too, and the portions were a good size. it did take a bit long for everything to come out, but it did seem like there was only one person working and she was very kind and accommodating when we had questions about our order. we didn't mind at all, especially sitting outside and enjoying the view! overall, I'll for sure be back for the drinks and to try some other HK style street food.

I ordered the lemongrass pork jaw rice. There were only about six pieces of meat, and the lemongrass was chopped into very tiny pieces and mixed into the sauce. The problem was that the lemongrass was extremely tough, almost like small pieces of tree branches, and impossible to chew. I had to spit them out, but because they were chopped so finely and mixed throughout the sauce and meat, it was very difficult to eat. If this is how they prepare the dish, they should reconsider the way they cook and serve lemongrass dishes--or consider removing this dish from the menu. I also waited about 30 minutes for my food. After such a long wait, I expected the food to at least arrive hot, but it was already cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting in the kitchen for a while because there weren't enough staff to bring it out to customers. The table service and cleanliness were also disappointing. There were no staff available to clean the tables, and I actually saw customers moving previous customers' dirty plates to one side and wiping the table themselves. Our table was also extremely sticky. The restaurant really needs to review its food delivery process. Instead of having staff run around the dining area trying to find the right table number, they could simply have customers pick up their food using an order number. This would probably make the process much faster and more organized. Overall, the food was just so-so, the service was slow, and the whole restaurant felt very unorganized. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

I was thinking about acai bowls, and the Yelp search engine pointed me to Sidewalk Juice. It's a clean, modern place, located near South Delaware St & Franklin Parkway. The place is really clean. There's a bar-like counter along the window with stools. Also lots of tables outside, as well as benches with shade. It's a nice spot to take a break. My Tropic Bowl was very good! They served it in a square plastic dish-like bowl. Much different than the typical bowls other places use. I like the presentation of the acai bowl. The fruit is neatly laid out, along with the crunchy granola. The creamy peanut butter was there, but the pineapple overpowered it's flavor. The acai base was cold, but not icy. The space is clean, modern, and aesthetically nice, but it is pretty small and not really the type of café I would hang out at for hours. It reminded me more of a busy boba shop where you grab your drink and go. We came around 1 PM and waited about 10 minutes. They only allow around six people to queue inside, so there was a pretty steady line of people waiting outside. This place gets BUSY. We tried the black sesame iced latte and a single origin pour over. The pour over was easily a 10/10 for me. I love light roasts that are super fruit forward, bright, and almost tea like, and this was exactly that. The barista was also incredibly friendly and even shared his recipe with me, which I really appreciated. The black sesame latte was one of the drinks we kept seeing on social media, so obviously we had to try it. Unfortunately, it was not our favorite. The black sesame tasted pretty grainy and bitter, which clashed with the sweetness of the coffee rather than complementing it. I would probably give that drink a 3/5. One thing I really liked is their whole bean selection. They had a ton of freshly roasted coffee available, including beans from Hydrangea and Black & White. Overall, Kaizen gets a 4/5 from me. The pour over alone is enough to bring me back, but I was expecting a little more from their black sesame iced latte

It has a reputation for being expensive, but I have found plenty of things there that are genuinely worth buying. Some of my regular favorites are Fiscalini habanero cheese, Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee, Mary's organic chicken drumsticks, the Whole Foods jalapeño hummus, cherry or mixed berry pie, the field greens salad with goat cheese, and the Organicgirl clamshells. This is the kind of store where I go in for one thing and somehow leave with cheese, pie, hummus, salad greens, and a very specific coffee. I am also a big fan of their pre-made salads and family meals when I need dinner without the cooking. My only complaint is that the sides included with the family meals can be underwhelming. The green beans, in particular, are impressively bad. I would much rather pay the $35 and mix and match the main dish with sides we will actually enjoy than pay less and bring home vegetables nobody wants to eat. Recently, I have also noticed that the dessert and prepared-food sections often have items marked 50% off when they need to be eaten that day or by the next day. If you are already looking for a same-day meal or dessert, that can be a really good option. Between the weekly sales, excellent meats and cheeses, good pies, and the convenience of the prepared-food section, Whole Foods is one of those stores that rewards people who pay attention. Just skip the green beans.
