I have been into Tractor Supply a few times in the past couple months. They are comparable to other feed stores in the area with merchandise and prices. They carry all sorts of items from decor and clothing to yard care to livestock care. The employees are always incredibly friendly and helpful in my experience. They carry live chicks when it's that season and have had some interesting varieties in the past. The parking lot is wide and has a lot of parking spaces but I have experienced it being a little chaotic before. Luckily there is parking off to the side with an additional entrance/exit when the parking in front of the store is busy. They typical carry a 40 lb bag of black oil sunflower seed for a great price (can't find my receipt from the last time I purchased, sorry!!). Unfortunately on my last 2 visits I haven't been able to find it. This past weekend an employee told me they haven't gotten it in for awhile so hopefully I will see it again soon! read more

This store serves many purposes from farm animals to yard supplies to even dog/cat items. I'm amazed at how versatile the selection is as I had never been in, but went in with my Yelp bestie Chelsey H. who has chickens and ducks. The staff was friendly and even asked if we needed help finding anything. We noticed some items were even cheaper than what we've paid on Amazon before. Definitely consider stopping by, especially since they have some unique candy selections. read more

Thoroughly disappointed in this store. The parking lot was terrible to navigate. They also store larger products on one side of the parking lot, taking up space. While inside the store, most of the products were overpriced. Did not find anything worth purchasing and will not be returning. read more

I am new to the area. The Apache Junction/signal butte is the worst tractor supply I've ever been to in my life. The middle aged/older man who was working the register was extremely rude and condescending and acted like my simple question about the price of hay was the stupidest thing he ever heard. Usually I chalk it up to people having a bad day but his tone and facial expressions was pure hatred and I left without any of my purchases and didn't get even hay there because I didn't want to deal with him for one more second. My little daughter even asked what his problem was. I ended up going to Shoppers down the road and their hay was $6 cheaper than the price the man told me at tractor supply which is astronomically cheaper when you get several bales. I know where I will be going regularly. read more

Just in the AJ store to find few bolts. Nobody wanted to help me. They all pointed where the bolts are but couldn't help. When I asked if they carried the bolt the guy said no we don't. I figure to search to see what they had close to it. I found the same bolt but it was 1/2 inch longer. I went up to the guy and told him you should take time and look what you have. Explore the store so you know what and where everything is. Not just answering No we don't carry it. The only reason I go there because of the 4health dog food. That store should take lessons from shoppers supply. At least they take the time to help. read more

First time walking in here as I heard filling propane tanks is much more cost effective than exchanging. Saved me $20 as opposed to the normal propane exchanging. Seemed like a clean store with a variety of items from clothing to feed, soils of all types outside and even a few coops that apparently were hot items. I sat in my truck while the propane was being filled, and at least 3 couples walked up to scope out the coops. Would come back for sure. Just only constructive thing is the guy inside standing at the customer service center didn't seem like he wanted to be there. No smile or greeting, but he did acknowledge me and told me he'd get someone out to the propane when I asked. read more

Worst tractor supply I've ever been to with the rudest employees. The extremely old lady who cashiers at the front with the gray hair on only half her head is what did it for me. I purchased a jacket here in my size just to have your rude cashier suggest a larger size when I was checking out! I'm not a large person at all, I'm maybe 130lbs so this was extremely uncalled for and just incredibly nasty. Then she shoved the receipt in my face when I questioned why she believed I'd need a new size. Absolute hysterical Karen cashier with no people skills. Well, you'll be happy to know Tractor Supply in Apache Junction has several tubes of Free Range Chicken Poop for your dry lip needs. (see pic) This was my first visit to Tractor Supply in Apache Junction. I was impressed with the variety of items they had ready for purchase and the helpful employees that made sure i got everything i was looking for. Can't help but love this place. I'm a city guy, but I make sure I visit this place at least once. If you have a little bit of "country" in you, you'll enjoy cruising the aisles and checking out things like hardware, country-themes clothing, and animal feel. But I especially enjoy riding the little mini-tractors in front of the store. One can dream, can't he? Tractor Supply is like that for me. There are equal parts masculinity and femininity. Working and playing. Hunting and cooking. Window shopping and buying. Petting chickens and eating chickens.....um. Whoops. Everything you need is here. There are chickens and coops, and lip balm called "Chicken Poop" (seriously). You can get gloves, boots and jeans, jewelry, cologne and candles. The kiddos can pet bunnies and chicks while stocking up on toy trucks and stick horses. Mostly, we go for weed killer and screws, which is emphatically less sexy. Let's talk about that for a moment. You can find bolts, screws, washers and more, purchased by the piece. Chain, wire, cable, tarps and all of those things are available here in various sizes, shapes, colors and strengths. Weed and bug killer is available for small or large areas, residential to large farm or commercial areas. You can also find RV and trailer parts, feed, tack, propane, fencing and old timey candies. This store is virtually next to my house. The staff is always friendly. Today, for example, I went into the store to buy JB Weld. I asked the cash register guy - a strapping young bearded lad with a thick Southern drawl and huge ear gauges - where I may find such a thing. He had an idea, but didn't want to lead me astray. He immediately radioed a co-worker and led me to it in seconds. After getting it, I of course was overtaken by the cinnamon and tobacco scents from the candle section, where I purchased some "super strong" Vanilla Bourbon wax melts for my Scentsy burner obsession. I hit the register, and the same dude was there, making sure that not only did I find the JB Weld, but wanted to verify the location in the event that someone needed to know in the future. He was super nice and called me ma'am a lot. I didn't mind feeling old for a second, just because "ma'am" sounds kinda sweet coming from a southerner. If I had hours to walk around and peruse, I would do it here at Tractor Supply. I will buy J some Christmas gifts here, probably including that electric winch he wants (shhhh....don't tell!!!) I highly recommend taking a gander at what TS has to offer. Also, I want to buy a cowboy hat and gallop around the store with a stick horse, but I'll spare everyone. read more

Super fun store loaded with lots of great products. Came in search of a walk in chicken coop. Asked a guy in the store and he looked completely perplexed and said "I don't think we have any". Asked another person and she directed me outside where we had already looked. Did some snooping around and found them. Very heavy and big (625 lbs) tried to find someone to find out about delivery options. No one anywhere. Gave up and left. Super poor customer service. read more

I was in there last Saturday and needed assistance, I walked up to an employee whom was helping another customer and stood quietly by waiting for him to at least acknowledge me. He never did but continued to chat-up the lady bout her farm and other personal subjects. I stood there for over two full minutes and finally he sardonically ask me if I had a question. I ask him for nitrile gloves he all but laughed in my face and told me those were a thing of the past never to be seen again. So I ask him for a product know a "mechanic's hands" it is a lotion that you apply before working and aids in clean up. Again my request was met with attitude and he told me that he never heard of it and that he was a mechanic for 30 years. Making me feel like I was an idiot and that if he hadn't heard of then it doesn't exist. Joe was the name on his vest he shouldn't be had to spot he looks like he has way more than his share at the dinner table. I went right across the street to Harbor Fright and low and behold right there on their shelves was the "never to be seen" and the "never heard of it" I will not shop at THS again. read more

I was just at Tractor Supply in AJ only because Shoppers Supply was closed for the holiday. I walked away understanding why I shop at Shoppers Supply for all of my horse and ranch needs! Customers service was terrible and large items that are loaded for me at Shoppers, you are expected to get for yourself. The store did have everything I needed but the frosting on the cake was when a middle aged man on a fork lift tried to load my hay into my truck. I have a short bed and the hay goes sideways, not long ways. Well, he had it long ways and literally rammed into my truck! He kept shoving it and the truck kept rocking because he didn't seem to understand that it didn't fit until I was able to get to him and tell him he was done. Then I had to get into the bed of my truck and load the hay myself. That man just took off! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! My family shops here regularly and the service is always friendly and helpful. If something is out of stock they always tell us when it will be in again or offer to call us when they have it in. Not one of those so called feed stores with mostly only dog and cat supplies- they carry that and items for most any pet or livestock. Also love that they are 4H and FFA supporters. Horrible customer service! I was excited to see a Tractor Supply on the East side, but unfortunately, when I went in the other day, the customer service was rude and very unhelpful. I was sorely disappointed. I will never shop there again. They obviously have enough customers, because they didn't seem to mind losing my business. The guy in the Equine area was very unhelpful and basically told me when they didn't carry much of anything for horses, too bad. Then when I went to the cashier to purchase the very few items I could find, he was even worse! Why ask me if I got everything I needed, when I answered (politely, by the way), unfortunately no and your guy back there wasn't much help. After that, the cashier ignored me, didn't acknowledge my concern or anything, then when I said, ok, so....why did you ask if you're just going to ignore me.....crickets...nothing, Then he had the nerve to ask for my zip code and when I asked what for, he said (again) nothing. Then he and a co-worker who was standing there the whole time, started laughing as I walked away, very frustrated by this time. Could they have been more rude and disrespectful? I'm sorry, but that is NOT how you treat customers. I even called the corporate office, filed an official complaint. They said the manager of the store would get a hold of me to address the issue, but have not heard anything. So, they lost a customer who would have given them regular business with 4 horses, so sad. read more
