Horrible experience with these people. I had come in for a quote for a car which I already had test driven at another dealership. They were very rude from the beginning - first they told me they do not have the color of the car I wanted which was showing available in their website and later they brought it out when I expressed less interest for the one on their front lot. Then they were forcing me to give my drivers license even when I told them I do not want to test drive the vehicle unless I liked the quote. I have been to multiple dealerships over my lifetime but have never seen such bad customer service. Very frustrating! read more

The splash plate to my wifey's Honda was flopping. She couldn't drive more than 30mph. I went to the rescue and stopped at Tracy Honda. The nice blonde gal in parts went to the rescue and set me up with several different Problem solving solutions. She was extremely helpful. Come to find out I only needed one screw and the problem was fixed. I returned the other screws and parts and got a full no hassle refund on the unused screws and parts. If I had one negative thing to say, this simple screw cost a whopping $5.20. Kind of steep for a simple screw. This screw should cost no more than one dollar and even that is stretching it. It's just a screw for the splash plate. In the end, thank you Tracy Honda for having the right parts and great service. read more

Had a lemon into lemonade experience with Tracy Honda October of 2019. Our beloved 2012 CNG Civic took a crap and after a number of visits to the repair shop ( 3-4 times to another Honda repair place and 2 separate instances to Honda Tracy Service) the reoccurring problem was undiagnosable. Daryl in service was amazing, but unfortunately only 1 mechanic was familiar with the CNG technology and wasn't able to fix the car. Since my husband is a bay area commuter, we decided to not pour more money into repairs and upgrade to new. My Husband and I decided to bite the bullet and trade it in to a 2019 Fit. Connor Pettipiece was the upgrade sale person we worked with to find the prefect "Fit". His laid back personality and no pressure approach was refreshing. We even waited a few days to finalize the sale specifically so we could work with him after his days off. We are really happy with the car as well as the staff that helped us that day: Joe Khan (sales manager), James Herren (internet sales manager), and Todd Suender (who assisted with all of the final paperwork). Despite our old civic dying out on us, we are Honda owners for life and will definitely visit Tracy Honda again in the future! Update: Special thank you to Sied in the Finance Department for all of the extra help locating my payoff check for my trade in. As a female, I don't recommend letting the service department help you with your car. They will take advantage of you. I made an appointment for only a synthetic oil change to my Honda Accord 22. Should have been around $60-80. Nope.They thought because I am a woman and I was alone that they could take advantage of me by adding on a bunch of crap. I didn't need, nor did I ask for. A brake check really for a car that isn't even a year old? Wheel rotation? Etc. They even unplugged my dash cameras.. strange huh. I asked the customer service representative Dylan, why he was charging me $160 for an oil change when I didn't ask for anything else, he said, "oh no OK let me go tell the mechanic to not do the rest of the services." He then comes back in 5mins later and says it's too late, the mechanic already did it all, which I then responded with "no way so that means you guys did everything in 15minutes and I can take the car right now??" Seems crazy right. (See the picture below of everything they supposedly did on my car) he then apologized with saying next time I come in for service to talk to him-blah blah blah. Honestly, I didn't care to listen to him anymore because I know for a fact I will never return to get my car serviced here. I rather go to the original dealership back home then this sexiest place. To summarize: - I didn't not ask for extra services and specifically asked for only a oil change and they didn't listen and charged me more for BS - They unplugged my dash camera that records 2/7 so I didn't have any recordings from when I hand the keys to Dylan to after I get back into my car after all this crap. VERY SUSPICIOUS! If they have nothing to hide dealerships NEVED have unplugged my dash cams - They said it would take an hour for the service, (wheel alignment, oil change, tire pressure, suspension, brake check etc.... it took them 15-20 minutes which is good but makes you wonder if they really checked all that I obviously don't need any of that checked, it's a brand new car not even a year old ugh. This was my very first time ever coming to Tracy Honda for an oil change. I had recently purchased a 2020 Honda Clarity PHEV from Daly city but I live in Manteca. From the very moment I pulled in to the service area I was greeted with a smile and was welcomed inside to be helped. I came with my six year old son and almost two years old daughter, so you can imagine I wanted to get in and get out as soon as possible. Able saw that I had two children and told me that they had a child's playroom while we waited for my car to be serviced. To my surprise, the play room Was absolutely amazing I had everything to keep them entertained from toys to building blocks and books read to them and most importantly appeared clean which is important to me. Before I knew it I received a text message advising me that my car was ready for pick up and gave me the option to click on the link and pay for the bill with my own cell phone which I absolutely love how Tracy Honda offers this. While I was there I also ordered an accessory for my control consul and met Dan the manager of the service department. He was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and best of all had a great attitude.
