DON'T GO TO THEM FOR INTERNET SALES! The internet salesman guaranteed a price on a specific car, gave us the VIN number, and told us what added equipment had been added by the dealer. The equipment wasn't something that we would want, but the extra price wasn't too exorbitant. We agreed on the terms of the sale and the salesman promised to be at the dealer so we could get the sale done expeditiously. Well, he wasn't there and the dealer at first refused to honor the deal he had promised. Fortunately, we had brought a printed copy of the email correspondence. After lengthy negotiations, they finally agreed to honor the deal, but then they told us the dealer-added equipment was totally different from what we had been told IN WRITING! ... and also, they insisted on charging full price for the worthless garbage they had put on the car. Again, very protracted negotiations... think multiple discussions followed by the salesman disappearing to relay conversation to the sales manager, 10-15 min wait, then salesman returns to say "No, the sales manager won't lower the price." More negotiation, then repeat of same scenario about half a dozen times. When we finally started to mention that we had someplace else to go, then they finally got serious and agreed to a price. Thinking we were going to finally get the deal done, we finally were shown in to talk to the sales manager face-to-face. Now we had to endure the high pressure tactics again over several insurance policies he wanted to sell us. They want to sell you insurance on the drivetrain, the paint, the electronics, the rustproofing... All together, it would have driven up the price of the car by 50%! We have bought several Honda using the internet sales department. We do it mainly so we can avoid the lengthy wrangling process, but at Tracy Honda, they made us go through it all anyway. Never again, Tracy Honda! We will go back to Elk Grove Honda or Mistlin Honda when we need our next Honda. read more

While waiting for my car maintenance service last week, I went into the showroom to sit at one of their tables ,as the regular wait area was pretty full. I noticed the 2021 Honda Accord and went over to admire it. I just paid off my Honda Accord (almost 5 years old) and wanted to see what features were new. I was approached by Dominic Leyva. I explained I was just waiting for my car service and wanted to look at all the new features. Dominic was the best salesman I have come across over the years (and I'm a Senior Citizen). He not only showed me everything new, but took me for a test drive. There was no pressure at all by Dominic. He was proud of the new Honda and excited to show it to me. I told him my Financial Planner would be telling me when it was time for me to buy a new car. Dominic texted me a link to the car I was looking at. He said I could forward to my Financial Planner if I was interested. After spending a long time with me, Dominic gave me his business card and said if my Financial Planner wanted me to move forward to contact him. He said he would wait to hear from me. When I left I told my sister, who was with me, he was the nicest, most informative, personable, car salesman ever. However, I told her I would give it 3 days and he would probably contact/pressure me. True to his word he did not. At this time I will be waiting another year before looking at a new Honda. I placed an offer through Sam's auto buying program and it was accepted . I was contacted by a Kristi and informed her that I already had financing. I informed her that I was on a temp assignment in California and would be registering the car out of state and she simply couldn't conceptualize what I was saying. She indicated that I could just register it in California and then register it in PA. It is not that simple. Kristi gave me options as if I were not the customer. I bought a car from them years ago and I was charged almost $5000 more than needed, I found out later. The sales people are money hungry and could care less for you. Financial guy was rude but straight forward. I had an issue under warranty for another Honda and came in, the worker asked if I bought it there and then said take it to where you bought it. Even though Honda warranty is universal and any dealer must honor it. Service people charged me for warranty check up by saying it's a oil change on me to check for oil burn. They also mandated a check up $200 fee even if I tell them the issue. Parts is okay, I go in and get fluids and those guys are fine. Prices are higher but they are open on weekends for parts. I would not buy a vehicle here or take it for service. read more

We purchased 2019 CW CTR on 08/05/2019. Me and my lady was/is very happy with our purchase. Yes we payed over sticker and received better offers around Norcal, but we wanted this color. We were there for 6 hours negotiating on the price, with our toddler and 11 month old. It wasn't the easiest thing to do. We took delivery of the vehicle @930pm. Everyone was in a rush to go home including ourselves. Next morning I notice there wasn't a bra on the front bumper and there was dirt in parts of the bra on the hood and fender. I tried to contact them, but the front desk told me they will have someone call back. It's been 24 hours still no call. Trust me when I say they charged an arm and leg for the accessories that they already had on the car, some we didn't even want. But if your gonna do that shouldn't it be done right and complete? During our negotiations they kept telling us its $3500 in accessories, but let's be real, it will only cost me or anyone else $800-$1000 if we took it to a shop and I'm high ballin it. Don't get me wrong. I would like to thank the sales managers for working with us. We agreed on the price and I don't regret that. But don't take delivery @9:30pm and be sure to look over the car carefully. Leave your kids with a babysitter if possible, we didn't/don't have that option The car was located in the back. They only received it that morning. It was dirty and hot so we didn't really have time to look at it. read more

NOTHING here is personal AT ALL. Just stating facts. I bought new car and after negotiations, was handed a paper saying it had been damaged in transit and I needed to initial. I didn't think much of it and did. Six days after I had the car, the touch screen went out and the heater turns off intermittently (just the blowing of the air). I also never received a copy of the accessories that came with my car. Thus, I went in on a Sat night to get the issues rectified. After waiting 1.5 hours (I understand they were working with other customers), I had to beg and plead to get a copy of the accessories that came with my car. I was assured by Frank, after a ton of back-and-forth, that he would "pull the jacket on Mon and get it to me" and "I'll call you immediately on Mon, get your car to front of the line, get it fixed, get you list of, get it re-detailed and gassed up" since it's just a week old. I really appreciated it a lot. Monday comes ... no call. Tuesday comes ... no call. I had now missed two days of work. I finally called them and was told, "Frank isn't in on Monday and Tues." Then why did he tell me he'd take care of everything on Monday? I was told to bring my car over and "James Herren knows the situation and will take care of you." I drove over and, low and behold, James "had to leave." Geo and Joe Kahn tried to help. I appreciate them. They got me a loaner car, got it fixed, even got my rim repaired (which had "road rash" on it - not sure if it was part of the "damaged in transit" that had been overlooked?). But even then, when I went to pick up the car, it was not detailed and gassed up as I was told (I had even written that down and handed it to them as I was told to do). Again, I was thankful it had been fixed, but just annoyed again that they failed to follow through on everything. I was told over and over and over - "If we aren't worthy of a five-star review, please let us know how we can fix it." I did let them know, over and over and over. I must have been in the dealership 3 or 4 times after the problems arose. I talked to Geo on the phone. I talked to Frank face-to-face. Again, this is NOT personal - I am thankful for Geo and Joe. Geo is a good guy who works hard and really did answer all my calls about everything. Joe was helpful and kind as well. But management just seemed incompetent - the communication, follow-up, and follow-through on things is lacking. Hence, my "It could have been better" review. In conclusion, I do NOT think you need to avoid Tracy Honda. I really don't. If you work with Geo and Joe you'll be fine. read more

I was excited to get my car serviced at this spot bc my boyfriend usually goes there for his work done on his honda. I got my car serviced there and they trick you in other services you need done on your car. Originally, I just wanted an oil change and my recall fixed, then it turned into my transmission changed and I had a leak I guess on my car? The description in the app they send you says repair leak. So, I approved the charge thinking it was repairing the leak come to find out there small print stating they recommend a leak diagnostic. So they diagnosed the leak instead of repairing it. So that was $160 dollars down the drain. I suggest actually talking to them about work that needs to be done and going in there and seeing it for yourself instead of going through an app that you approve or decline. I wouldn't ever go there again. Doesn't seem like an honest place to get your car fixed. It's a shame bc I would of gave them plenty of business. Updated review: Mr. Brett made it right and gave me a refund for the $160 dollars and because of him it made me re-think there business. He is a great guy to try and fix things personally and understands and listens to what the issue was. I can appreciate that. read more

The manager Joseph Khan even came out to help negotiate the price (something I did not expect). Rocky would be persistent to having the terms work out in order to get the car. This place is unprofessional. My service guy was totally trying to take my money for services I didn't want or didn't have done. I went in for a prepaid package oil change. Meaning I paid for it when I brought my car at another Honda dealership. The service guy was telling me something really quick to get me thinking I'm getting an oil change and some point inspection A to Z. End up I saw an estimate of $300+ dollars. I was like why and he told me, oh, I thought you want to filter and cabin filter change and transmission oil change etc? I was like, no. Then he said, just sign it and ignore all that. Red flag. I waited for three hours. I did not get any notice my car was done. I stood in line and went back and he said car was done, didn't you get text? Then he prints my bill and I still see almost $200. I was like, what happened here? I already have a pre-paid oil etc. He gave me the 'My bad' and then had to go back and remove it from the bill. This place is horrible. I would have done my oil change elsewhere if it wasn't for the fact I got the Honda prepaid oil change package. Even my next service I rather try to drive to another city like Fremont Honda to get my oil change. This place is horrible. Not even a welcome greet. I had done my service at Fremont Honda Auto nation and they are always A+. This place if I can rate it be a 1/10 or C-. My experience was pressured just like the review from `Dawn R.` mentioned. I'm a grown man, and they try to pressure you and at times make you feel really uncomfortable. Like you some dumb customer or something by telling you need such services when clearly you do not. I know how to change my cabin and air filter and I do NOT need you to pressure me in doing those for $120+tax! read more
