Let me start by saying that I usually don't write reviews. Not because I don't think that businesses don't deserve them but because good, genuine customer service is a rarity nowadays. Having said that, I would be remiss not to mention the stellar customer service I experienced at Tracy Toyota recently. My wife and I own a 2007 Toyota Camry in which the power steering went out so we decided to bring it to Tracy Toyota based on our experience with them in doing our tuneups. When we arrived, the diagnostic revealed a host of other issue that needed immediate attention. We had just gone through some financial hardships, and quite frankly were not able to afford the cost of major repairs. This is were a few exceptional employees at Tracy Toyota stepped in. First, I want to commend Customer Relations Manager Cynthia Tyler who met us(I was on crutches at the time due to a sports injury and it was refreshing to see Cynthia go out of her way to find me a comfortable chair and bring me a pillow to rest my injured foot on) and pointed us in the right direction. She even helped us get a discount with a rental. If I had a thousand tongues, I would not be able to compliment Parts and Service Director Mike Botelho enough for orchestrating what i believe to be nothing short of a miracle for us. Not only did he allow us to keep our vehicle there while we decided whether or not to move forward with the repairs, he saved us an unbelievable amount of $$ on parts, labor, and rental fees and also offered to work with us through payment arrangements(I would run out of characters in this review if i went into detail). We are extremely grateful to Mike who took it "personal" and therefore involved the entire department to work on our behalf. While at work, I received a call from Certified Parts Specialist Mike Filix who told me that after talking with Mike B., he wanted to help by personally paying for the brake pads that were needed(who does that?!?). When I extended my personal thanks to Mike B., what amazed me is that he credited his team and desired no personal accolades(as I mentioned earlier, a rarity). I truly believe that the reason Mike and his team were able to provide us with exemplary service is because they are exemplary human beings. I would like to conclude by saying that being in the customer service field, I know it can "make or break" any organization so for those reading this review, when I say there's something "special" going on down at Tracy Toyota... I would HIGHLY recommend to take your business elsewhere. I live in Sacramento, but found a jeep at Tracy Toyota I was interested in. Biggest mistake of my life and a huge learning experience. This was my experience with Tracy Toyota: May18, 2019- purchased a 2011 Jeep Wangler with 80k miles. Also purchased the warranty with it. May 19, 2019- check engine light on(I believe they cleared any codes before it was sold and driven enough miles for the light to come back on) Took it to Elk Grove Jeep on Monday May 20th. Was turned away and told I had to wait a week for repairs because my warranty hadn't been activated. It was still too soon. Took in for repairs: had a cracked exhaust and other small items like a leaking transmission line and right turn signal that did not work. Luckily the warranty covered 1500 of repair but I still had. $100 deductible. I had a rental car for nearly 3 weeks. July 16, 2019- hadn't owned the vehicle for 3 months yet..driving the vehicle and starts smoking terribly while I'm on the freeway. It had no power when I pressed on the gas. Left me broke down in the middle of the freeway. Got it towed to elk grove Jeep...NEEDS A NEW TRANSMISSION. Warranty goes out and denies paying for it because it was a modified vehicle..I bought it with a lift kit and oversized tires. Hadn't owned it long enough to do anything with it. After being passed around from person to person at Tracy Toyota..I was directed to deal with TOM the used car sales manager. Boy is he the shittiest at customer service. Laughed when I said they need to take the POS car back they sold me. After going back and forth arguing with Tom for over a month..they did in fact take the Jeep back and paid what I still owed on the loan. Refused to give me back my cash deposit I put down. Note: I'm 25..gave them all the cash I had from selling my first car. This was something I was so excited about and got SCREWED!!!! Run far far away from this place...it's a huge scam!! It's horrible what they do to their customers....I hope someone can learn from my mistake. I thought I was safe from this type of business purchasing from a large dealership. Your not... My wife and I had a very good experience at Tracy Toyota on 10/9/2016, I found a car on line that I liked, so I called to verify it was still available. My first contact was Deepak, he verified the car and said to come on down. When we arrived he was there to greet us and brought the car right up for a test drive. He and I took it out for a ride, not just around the block, Deepak directed me to some back country roads so I could get a feel for the car, I liked that, any car is good on a smooth road, bumpy roads is where you find out if a car is solid. After that we went inside where Deepak took the time to answer all my questions and explain the process for purchasing. If there was something Deepak wasn't sure about, Sammy was right there to explain things. We spent over an hour just talking about the car, whether it was right for us. I never felt pressured or rushed. We decided to purchase. Deepak introduced us to Robbie, the Finance Manager, we had established pre-approval on our own before shopping. Robbie asked if he could shop for us, I thought I had a good deal already, Robbie found me a better deal. I like this, they could have just sold me the car and been done with it, Robbie took the time to save me some cash. During this whole process, when I would step out to look at the car, use the restroom, or such, someone would make sure I was being helped. I have visited quite a few car lots looking for a car, this was a first. Everyone was polite and considerate. I have since returned for an alarm installation, Nadir the service advisor handled the paperwork and Dennis installed the alarm, both were professional, and courteous. When I returned to pick up my car it was clean as I left it. Check in was awesome, no waiting. Due to all these factors Tracy Toyota has earned my business, next time I need a car, I know where I'm going. read more

Wow! I kinda expected a hard time after reading all the previous reviews of Tracy Toyota, but was amazingly surprised. I planned on driving to Stockton for a new car, but figured I would just stop in here to look at a few vehicles. I pulled in and got out of my car, and was approached by a tall guy who seemed like he was on way too much caffeine. He introduced himself as Mike Curtis, the GENERAL MANAGER! Holy Cow! I was taken back a bit, and asked why he was helping me. He explained that the other sales staff was busy so he came out front to see if anyone needed help. I expected to be hassled even more since it was the GM, but he was the nicest, funniest guy I met. We walked around for a bit since I was looking for a Tacoma, and he showed me what they had. We went out for a test drive, and I decided that the size of the extended cab just wasn't right for me. So we test drove a 4-door Tacoma, which was more $$$. I had used up like 45 minutes of his time and he didn't seem bothered at all! Sales guides had finished up and came over to help, but he sent them away saying he'd take care of me. I picked a great White Tacoma 4-door, and I negotiated with him. He started by dropping the price way below what I expected, and I took the offer. He took me to finance and introduced me to the manager, at this point finally bowing out and handing me off. The finance manager was low-pressure, and ran through the options available. I declined and he wasn't pushy at all about it. Mike came back in after I finished and personally took me out and handed me the keys. Okay, this is NO joke! I take my car to Toyota for a brake job and my car comes back worse than when I brought it in - was my thinking, right. I take my car back to them and they tell me, 'Mam, it's not your brakes, we fixed your brakes; it's the type of tires you have on your car -- you have sports tires on a luxury car - that's what the shaking is - not your brakes." "You need to take your car back to the tire place and have them service your tires". Oh, but I ranted, raged and insisted it was their fault, so in keeping their customers (me) happy and satisfied they refunded my $400 back to me. I got my refund check in the mail and I thought 'well, since I have my money back, let me take my car to the tire place and see'...lo and behold! TOYOTA was right! I was wrong! The moment my tires got serviced, my car was running smoothly, no more shaking. Talking about INTEGRITY...One might think, 'hey, I just got a free brake job, Toyota can afford it - they don't even know I took my car into the tire place'...wrong, I knew and so did God. So, I did what was only the right thing to do - went back up there to TRACY TOYOTA w/my foot in my mouth and paid them for a job WELL DONE! But what do they do...REWARD me for paying them what was duly owed them. Talk about a Hallmark moment - the General Manager comes in and instructs the Director of Operations to give me a whopping $200 credit on any car service in the future w/no expiration.....WHAT! no way, yea way...all together now....GOOOOO!! I was in desperate need of a new car my cars transmission went out, so i went car shopping. I had been to other dealerships and all were very pushy. I had been pre-approved for a loan & other places kept trying to get me to reach the loan limit & even go over, even though i told them i could only afford so much not the limit. Well i finally went to Tracy Toyota & i said i am pre-approved for this amount but i cant afford the monthly so I'm not trying to get the max loan they asked what can i afford a month & once i gave them that price they said let me see what we can get you. They found me a great car within my budget, john Wallace (internet/fleet director) even searched until he found the exterior/ interior color i wanted. Landon Cotton was also a big help & super nice & funny. Once i was ready to sign the final papers "bear" seen how high my interest rate was & said let me see if we can find someone who will give you a better rate he did find someone who gave me 3% lower rate than what i had. so i was super happy. Than later when i was talking to another associate he "Bear" came by to let me know he called the finance company & got them to lower it another 1% i was so happy he didn't have to do that but he did. Overall I think Tracy Toyota has a great team who don't try to get over on you. So if you are in need of new car definitely go visit them make sure to see John Wallace, Landon Cotton, or "Bear" .. i know there are other staff members i did meet that where super nice & helpful but didn't remember their names. My story: I live in San Jose. One day, I was just searching around on the internet thinking about buying a new truck. I got to the website truecar.com and saw a couple of used truck from Tracy Toyota. I put in my information, not being very serious. I was just looking around, not really decided to buy yet. Early morning next day, Julie from Tracy Toyota contacted me and said the vehicle I was looking for was no longer available and asked if I would be interested in other vehicles. I said no thank you. She kept on following-up with me nicely afterward. Usually, I don't like it but somehow she convinced me that I should be open to other options. I asked many many of questions and I became more serious, still not think that I would drive all the way to Tracy yet. But she helped me with all of my questions, concerns, comparison... She even helped me to trade in my old truck. I think she and her team made a mistake when estimating my old truck's value but since I drove all the way from San Jose, she and the team decided to honor the price they quoted me. That is an amazing service. Not mention about how she turned a cold lead into a customer (I am in sales too so I know). I finally got my brand new 2019 Toyota Tacoma and they took care of everything the paperwork about trading my old truck too (my situation was a little complicated). On Nov 28th my husband & i went looking to see what kind of used truck you had on your lot. We met a young man by the name of Ruben Ceja. he showed us the one we were looking at and also a new 2016 Tacoma My husband test drove both of them and chose the 2012 Nissan Frontier. He took us inside and took our info to run our credit. We lost our home in 2008. I honestly thought we would not qualify. As it turned out we hand no credit at all!!! We had to re-establish our credit. Thats when we met Sammy Baig where he ran some numbers by us to see what we could afford and be comfortable with. Mr Baig came back after speaking with Aaron Rivera finance manager and told us we were approved, i started crying with joy because i wasn't ready for a rejection!!!! After i calmed down we went in and signed the contract with Mr Rivera:). They also found out i am a BIG 49er fan and GIANTS fan!! Seriously, all I was doing was looking, kind of getting a general idea on the 2016 Ravs and what they came equipped with. The Rav I really wanted was not in inventory according to the Tracy Toyota website when I was doing my research. Imagine my surprise when low and behold, there was my girl, the exact one I wanted and had been looking for, beckoning to me.... "I'm here,what are you waiting for, you know you want me"... Apparently that very morning, she had been delivered to the Tracy Toyota dealership in a car swap, so she was front and center, almost like she knew I was coming! Deborah was very helpful when I was trading in the old girl for her much younger sister. Deborah was very personable, we had a lot in common, and we clicked instantly personality wise. She answered all my questions, and if she didn't know the answer off the top of her head, she went and found the answer. She showed me all the bells and whistles, and even called a few days later to see how things were going, and told me to call her anytime if I had a question. I called Tracy Toyota dealerships for Oil change they said please come we will do right away, actually I was calling form Dublin Toyota where I was very unhappy they do not care their customers every time, same old stuff from them i am done with them, may be they got too many customer so they do not care any one, I was their for service they told me 3+ hour wait time only for oil change and other service they said leave the car over night I said thank you to them forever, but when I checked with Tracy Toyota. I spoke with George Youhana who said their price is $39.95 but he said he will give me for 29.95 as I have Dublin Toyota coupon I said Cool, He is the best service adviser in Tracy Toyota. I came late to their service department around 3:45 PM, and I request if I can also have engine Coolant and Transmission fluid replace as well George said sure we will do and he give me the best deal of the lifetime which you can not find from any dealership in USA plus I didn't have an appointment. George has the best customer service skill. Anyway, so I am ready to give these guys 5 star, Tracy Toyota has earned my business for now - let's see if they can keep it up. read more

Tracy Toyota was the fourth dealership we had been to in a long day of being to one mediocre dealership with a mediocre selelction, a second shop where we had to beat off salesmen with a whip and chair, and a third with a sales manager who tried to sell a vehicle that wasn't my wife's paint color of choice - never, ever do that to a lady! The Tracy guys were organized, casual yet businesslike, and while their RAV4 selection was a little lean at the the time, they immediately found exactly what we wanted elsewhere and the sales staff was willing to give us a good price, and have it shipped to the dealership. It was a far cry to the prior dealer we went to who was allegic to dealer trades - perhaps they have crappy dealerships as trade partners or short changed the good ones. My wife was particularly impressed with Cristian, our sales guy, who was polite and composed, and the sales transaction went as efficiently as can be expected. Also, the environment of the dealer as a whole was very relaxing. And a great bonus was putting afew dollars in the pocket of the owner of the dealership who helped my beloved 49ers win four Super Bowls. Thanks guys! read more

I am completely blown away by how amazing Eli was! I drove to this location a good hour because dealerships in my area didn't cooperate with me and I felt like they were trying to pressure me into a deal. Tracy Toyota and Eli took everything I wanted budget and car wise. They were super helpful and informative. Eli answered all my questions and made buying my new vehicle a breeze. I liked that he also had great customer service and a great personality! He made me feel super comfortable and actually made the process enjoyable! it was a great experience buying our Toyota camry from Liz McCann and Kipp Dawson. the whole process was smooth and easy with no hassle. and this will keep me as their customer for many years to come. and I may I thank you both for your help. we will be recommending our friends and family to them. My only regret is that the Finance Manager, Pierre Saroukhanioff, tried to trick us into buying extended insurance warranty. He told us that our loan amount nor our payment per month would go up due to this extended coverage. When I asked him " who would pay for the cost of this insurance?" He said we will make 66 payments instead of 60 payments and this 6 extra payments will pay for the insurance. When we started to sign the final papers I noticed that my loan amount had increased by $2485. When I asked him about this increase he said this was for your insurance. Thank God I read the whole purchase contract before signing. I do not know how many other customers have been in this same situation. I still give 5 stars just because my sales person, Liz, and the sales manager, Kipp, were very helpful and honest. read more

I have bought two new cars and a used car from Tracy Toyota and all of my experiences there have been absolutely stress free. This past weekend I brought two of my used cars into them and asked them the impossible, to pay them off and put me in a newer car. I was scared that it wouldn't work out like I wanted it to and dreaded even asking them. The sales manager, Kipp, was so awesome to work with. He listened to me and understood exactly what I was needing to do. He brilliantly performed the miracle and not only got the two used cars traded in, but he put me in a brand new Toyota Tundra, my new "Forever Truck." I will never go anywhere else. Everyone there is super nice and they always have have popcorn available for my lil guys. Kipp even brought my daughter a slice of pizza from their group lunch! And a great big kuddos out the Steven, the younger kid that hussles around like crazy and he's so calm about it, great work morale! Buying a new car is always the most dreading experience for me! At first I was really reluctant to go to the dealership but like always the wifey dragged me along to the dealership. We were first greeted by a couple of gentlemen and were brushed off but after 10 mins or so we were greeted again by a younger gentleman by the name of Sean. From the very beginning he wasn't at all what a typical car salesman is described as. He showed us around and answers our questions fairly easily. Surprisingly for his young looks he knew a lot about the cars we had questions on and guided us to what we were looking for. After driving the car we were both in love with it and knew that this car was meant for us. Sean brought us inside and the process was seamless than I've ever had it before! He really did beyond our expectations and by the end of the afternoon we were owners of a brand new Toyota car! We will definitely send many referrals over to him, he really knows what he is doing. If I could give the service department a 0 I would, this is the worst service department unfortunately my parents are located here in Tracy and it's the only Toyota nearby. My dad went in to the service department for a follow up that was instructed in case his emergency bag light came on (what a coincidence after they called us to check our van before this happened) then the light came on. Service advisor was Brent Merrill They charged us $150 for doing some "inspection" and on top of that all left my parents without a vehicle for two days. After submitting a complaint they told us the DM would reach out to us and HE NEVER DID!!!!!! What kind of customer service crap was that!! Gave us the run around for a week. Extremely upset, I rather help my parents drive far away to another Toyota dealer than to get service from here come here. Do not get serviced here they don't care to update you properly and then leave you without a vehicle for days and also charge you for things you'd have no idea you'd pay for if you leave your vehicle! By far the best car buying experience I've had in my life. My name is Daniel , I work on the order of 70 hours a week and had very little time to actually go in to Tracy Toyota-though I did do research on the vehicle I wanted online. Kenny Koeppel-the internet sales manager at Tracy Toyota helped me through the entire process via texts ! I asked if he had the vehicle I wanted , they did , they got me approved for financing and DELIVERED my car to my front door. I signed the paper work in my apartment-and now I can do my super commute in a gas efficient hybrid Toyota Prius. Its interaction like this , personal attention like this and amazing customer service experience like this that makes life long customers. I know I am and my next vehicle will also be a Toyota and I will come back to Tracy Toyota. Excellent experience. My parents and I went out for breakfast this morning across the street from the Tracy Toyota Dealership. As soon as we were done we decided to go in the dealership and check out prices for a Highlander, that's the car my mom wanted. We were nicely greeted by a sales person name Michael Barbeau. Mike was very helpful and took us for a test drive on a 2014 Highlander, which we all loved. Mike also showed us other Highlanders, once we decided which Highlander we liked and went inside to talk about prices we came across a 2014 Prius. We decided to go for the Prius since we a family that owns a Prius already and a Toyota truck. We got a good price for it and my mom was more than happy with her new car. Everyone was extremely nice with us and were very helpful. Ramen Barekzai the finance director was also an amazing and helpful person when it came down to how much we wanted to pay. We are very happy with the new family edition. We a Toyota family and we made the best choice today by getting a new 2014 Toyota Prius. We highly recommend Tracy Toyota. read more
