I like this Trader Joe's they are always well staffed and well stocked. Every time I go here the staff is nothing but friendly to me hoping I get my simple shopping done.I do have ONE gripe about this place. Okay so I was applying for a job and in the application was some basic math problems so I was like sure alright. And the guy who was administering they application told me not to use a calculator for the math (which was fine cause DUH I'm Asian I'm GREAT at math, lol actually I'm the one Asian who can't do math). And well during the entire process of me doing math problems he kept staring at me, like I was going to cheat or he was going to put a voodoo spell on me. I love, good service, good groceries, vegetarian friendly. however do not assume it is all organic and free range check your labels. Otherwise it is alll good! ( Try the varieties in hummus, ak-mak crackers are a best seller with hummus it's like fries with the burger except healthier. They have coffee and samples in the corner of special items. I heart Trader Joe's!!! I come here to get some of my groceries & healthy snacks to munch on. On the unhealthy side..they got the best mini crispy chocolate cookies in a bucket here...YUM. I'm salivating already thinking about it...geez, i can't have chocolate till the end of the month (gave it up for lent). But yeah, they are delicious! This store is cool. The staff are really nice, and the food is fresh. Plus, they TAKE stuff back if you don't like it. Which is great because we've all decided to try something new like a "black bean naan" and then proceeded to spit it out as fast as it went in. It gets crowded on the weekends so go after work on a weekday or early on Sunday. read more

I have come to love and appreciate TJs and have discovered some really great foods and produce there that I now buy on a consistant basis. My favorite is the frozen food sections with the grilled peppers and onions as a top choice. The frozen mashed potatoes are incredible and also affordable and the turkey meatloaf is a fantastic alternative to beef and really tasty! Love the spices and prices are pretty damn good! read more

This was the first time I have shopped at this store and while the store itself seemed a bit small, they apparently had EVERYTHING I needed. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and their prices weren't nearly as expensive as I thought they would be. read more

I'm sorry, perhaps it was because I went there really late. But, I just am not a HUGE fan of this one. This location is small and feels cramps. They didn't have my Hibiscus cranberry juice, there weren't any green bananas & they had a very poor stock of beer. I don't want to be prejudice but I definitely like the Walnut Creek one and the other Concord location off Oak Grove. I've had a better feel, and I've seen more product. read more

This is a very well managed store. Always well stocked with a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables at good prices. I pretty much purchase all my fruits and vegetables here now. Can get a little busy after work on weekends so you may need to plan your trip times accordingly. read more

A new and improved Trader Joe's for the East, East Bay that was formerly located in the Willows Shopping Center. I love this location...plenty of parking, full product line (yes, they have Red Flyer wine here), and all the other wonderful things that are associated with TJ's. read more

It's the closest Trader Joe's where I live. So I love coming here when I'm in this side of the bridge. I usually stop here after I go to the mall. The price is awesome and the the food is very healthy. Every since I became a Pescatarian I find myself shopping here more and more. I wish there was a Trader Joe's in my side of the bridge. read more

I loves me some Trader Joe's. There is an incredible variety of both healthy and unhealthy (but delicious) food in this store. This place is honest with labels and tries to make less of an environmental foorprint on the planet. And they make it all taste good. If you want to eat healthy and even organic, all the ingredients are here. Fresh produce, great things like dried fruit and nuts, and frozen meals that surpass anything you can get in other stores. In fact Trader Joes frozen macaroni and cheese is the first one I have ever eaten that has flavor, and it is an incredible flavor. This place has good prices and incredible service. It seems like a place where people are happy to work, and I know I'm happy to shop there. read more

The store is a bit small for my liking in comparison to some other TJ stores, but it's cozy and well stocked. Parking area is always busy, but thanks to the drop in/drop out customers of the next door Starbucks there's always someone leaving. read more

Woohoo! I love Trader Joe's and am grateful there were open on Easter Sunday. I had the whole family coming over and no appetizer's to serve, I didn't want the normal grocery store fare so I called and found out they were open. I picked up the 5 layer dip and spinach salad and they were yummo. I also picked up my favorite yogurt and oatmeal cereal. I really like trader joe's, you can get top quality stuff at a decent price. I also like their beer and wine selection, extremely reasonable. This location is convenient, pretty close to the freeway and plenty of parking. I'll be back! read more

Love shopping at Trader Joe's... actually I do most of my regular grocery shopping there. Everything is always super fresh. Staff there know there products and are super helpful. It's not your boring "mothers" grocery store. Kids loves looking for Jo-Jo. read more

A long time fan of TJs I have been known to frequent several locations; Concord is by far my favorite. It used to be over in the Willows by Old Navy (yuck) but now that they've moved to Concord Ave they have blossomed. Some people are under the impression that TJs is a full service grocery store like Safeway but its not. You can't get EVERYTHING that you need from here. But you will find some unusual items at great prices especially now when everything (including food) is ridiculously expensive. They aren't perfect; their bread gets moldy way too fast and sometimes their fruit is crap but you can ALWAYS return it which is fantastic. And the staff is pretty friendly. Plus the Concord store isn't usually crowded. read more

This is the first place I go for grocery shopping. The location is convenient (I've never had a problem with parking). The employees are all very helpful and friendly, even when they seem super busy. I love how I can walk out with a ton of food and didn't spend a ton of money. read more

Great store but about the only Trader Joe's I have been to except for when it was at Willow's but that doesn't really count. I love the variety of cheeses, wines and vegetarian foods. And I always know that I won't be able to get all of my shopping done there but WTH I get to spread the money around. I like the lower prices and friendliness of the staff. I always enjoy snagging a coffee sample there and a food sample when they have something a vegetarian can eat. My main complaint is the packaging of the produce. It would be so much nicer just to put stuff in a bag then get the extra packaging that their stuff comes with. read more

I love this Trader Joe's. I do all of my shopping there. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. I can always find a staff member quickly if I have a question. I would give it 5 stars if they didn't recently eliminate many of my favorite items in order to widen their aisles. I also wish that they carried ice. I'm absolutely enamored with this place, and have been a loyal customer since they opened their doors at the Willows all those years ago. The staff is wonderful, AND colorful! They know me by name! AND, they'll actually open up all registers when it gets really busy! The selection is magnificent...chewable adult vitamins, organic, fair trade, shade grown coffee, chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzles, and wonderful salads to name but a few. I love Trader Joe's because they carry healthy foods. They have knowledgeable and helpful employees. When they are out of something and you ask them about it, they offer to check on that item. I love how they changed the prize box from toys to good foods (with the exception of cereal bars, fruit bars that stick to the teeth but that's okay). I love Joe Joe. My daughter has fun going grocery shopping because she knows she can play the game of finding Joe Joe and she doesn't care about the prize box. She's happy to just find Joe Joe. I love this store. I love the fresh produce cheaper than farmers markets. They always have fantastic ideas at the sample table. The sample ladies are wonderful if you need help putting together a party menu or a new dinner idea. I love the $3 wine which beat the $10 bottles in a blind test. I forget the name but you can ask anyone there. I love the japanese steak. The shish kabob veggies are skewered and ready to roast. You should try the sushi. It is fresh and top notch. read more
