They have great products for sale at Trader Joe's. Sometimes they have special products or unique ones. They always have regular products there too like bananas, apples and so on. They have coconut milk and almond milk. I found a nut milk there that I have never seen before. It was a macadamia, almond and cashew nut milk. I didn't try it. Once I tried a pea milk before. I think it used snow peas. I thought it tasted fine. It didn't taste like peas. A couple of the coconut milks was about two dollars and eighty cents. The nut mixture with macadamia milk was about two dollars fifty cents. They had a hemp beverage for about three dollars. The almond breeze was about two dollars and thirty cents. The rice milk was about three dollars and fifty cents. The oat milk was about two dollars and fifty cents. I like oat milk. There isn't a lot in production yet. I haven't tried this brand from trader Joe's yet. They have a plain, a chocolate, and one with pea protein. I always like visiting Trader Joe's. read more

I came here on a Saturday morning and this store was poppin! The store was nicely stocked and the floral selection was amazing. This is what I came for! I have seen some reviews of ppl complaining there wallets or credit card info being stolen but I did noticed that there were dedicated employees going around and warning ladies to please look after there purses. Plenty of parking, even when crowded, which is most of the time. Employees are mostly quite friendly, which is above average when shopping, right? Comments on a couple of prior purchases... Steak and Stout pie, quite tasty, not much meat in it though. Frozen naan, perfect. Toasted up, tasted like fresh. Packaged pears when in season, are luscious! I love everything about this Trader Joe's! The selection of items and the prices are always great, the parking is easy, and best of all, the customer service is outstanding (which is getting more difficult to find these days)! I recently lost a loved one and was having an emotional day on a recent shopping trip; I started to get tearful while checking out, when the sweet cashier asked me to stay there and said she'd be right back -- she came running back with a bouquet of flowers that she proceeded to give me for free!! I was absolutely touched. She was so sincere in wishing me a happy day, and the kindness meant the world to me! Trader Joe's (especially this location) has become my happy place :)!! read more

While it was an accident that checked in here, I've since eaten their Unexpected Cheddar Cheese when my aunt brought it to my house while visiting. The cheese was absolutely delicious and so I'm giving the cheese 5 stars. I can't speak to the rest of Trader Joe's as I've never been inside one. read more

Wasn't done talking, employee with long dark fizzy hair working the customer service counter walked away and made a really ugly disrespectful face that she either didnt realize I could see, or meant for me to see. Hooray, hooray, hooray! I've been waiting for this to open for years. I am so happy. I went today, and of course it was very busy as expected. But this is definitely the largest Trader Joe's I have ever been to. They knew what they were doing building a larger model. The parking lot is well designed, which is a huge plus because Mesa's is a nightmare! It was super crowded, and I believe it will continue to be. They had everything in stock that I was looking for, the employees were friendly, as always. The fresh flowers were plentiful. (my absolute favorite place to get flowers). All the produce I purchased was fresh! I love Trader Joe's, and I'm so happy to have one close by! read more

Great selection and nice employees! I came in here during a crazy thunderstorm to get cheesy snacks for my long drive. I ended up with some great avocados and meatless sausage patties for breakfast as well! I got to sample the fall harvest soup while in here with the cheese crisps I usually eat. I hadn't thought of putting them in soup before so I loved trying that! I've since made soup at home and added those in for a hearty meal! Everyone in here seemed genuinely happy to be at work - a sign of a great team. Nobody seemed bothered by the lightning crashing right outside - thanks for helping to keep your customers calm during what could have been a really scary experience for people not used to thunderstorms! read more

The tale of two stores. I lost my phone this morning. I retraced my steps going to Trader Joe's on Williams field and sprouts on val vista. Went to Trader Joe's first. They went out of their way to put me at ease. Helped me look through their shopping carts and helped me retrace my steps. They took my name and number and promised to help if something came up. Then I went to sprouts. The cashier didn't know how to ask for a manager, but when the "blue" shirt lady appeared and I asked, she said no, nothing has been turned in. Short sweet. Nothing else. Now. Who do you think got my repeat business today? Who built brand loyalty? I won't go to Val vista again. I will instead go to the one on south Gilbert even if it's further. To build brand loyalty you have to have employees who are engaged. It was very clear to me today that your staff are great ambassadors of your brand. read more

I love Trader Joe's and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. This location offers a senior hour and claims to have a face covering policy. A young woman with a child was shopping during senior hour. The child did not have a mask and the woman wore hers around her neck. We said something in the checkout line about being high risk and frustrated that this woman wasn't being asked to follow the rules. They assured us if they saw her they would say something. Less than two minutes later the woman was invited to get in line right behind us, with no request that she pull up her mask or to stand back until we were finished checking out. Please don't claim to be taking precautions that you are making zero effort to follow. read more

It was my first time at this particular Trader Joe's. I'm so glad that we have one in Gilbert. I went during the weekend and there was a long line to enter the store. It's not a big problem as the line moves fairly quick. They are markers on the floor to help with social distancing ( a nice and helpful touch). I do appreciate that the store is clean and that they sanitize all carts. Employees all wore masks. Service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Better than other stores I have visited in other states. Here are items I recommend: Caramelized onion cheddar cheese, raisin & rosemary crisp, fig butter, coffee blast ice cream, burrata, mini samosas, Chocolate baton, & scallion pancakes. All in all, I love Trader Joe's. If you haven't been, go. The hype is real. read more

Trader Joe's has healthier food options. This TJ's seems to be newer and smaller than the ones I've been to in other states. Most food items here are Trader Joe's brand. They have excellent hummus, frozen fish, snacks and pre-made meal options. They have free samples and coffee. The employees are generally friendly and helpful. The parking lot design is a lot better than other TJ's which are generally a mess. What I don't like about this store is that the price point could be a little lower as they don't do any advertising and everything is their own brand. Also, the store feels less "homey" than their other stores. Not sure why. 3.5/5.0. I'll continue to come back a few times a month. read more

Trader Joe's in SanTan Village is a great addition to the many new stores in the area. Masks are required and there is usually a line to enter the store if you go on a Sunday afternoon otherwise you walk right in. Since masks have become the norm, I go with the flow as I have to many other things to worry about instead of a mask being worn for 5 or 10 minutes. Truly not a big deal!! read more

This Trader Joe's location went from a 5 star down to a 1 star in a matter of a few weeks. Came here after the capacity restrictions were lifted only to find a line out the door. If I wanted to wait in a line to enter the grocery store, I could have stayed in California and not bothered to drive all the way to Arizona. So, I waited in line. Once closer to the door, I could not see any sign around or on the front doors indicating the capacity limit. If you demand that I stand in a line just to enter your store, I expect proper signage to be posted telling me exactly how many humans are allowed in the store at one time. It was at this point when I could see the TJ employee who was dubbed the line monitor. A middle aged man, dressed like a teenager who was literally dancing in the doorway as he told customers to wait their turn. SERIOUSLY???? How unprofessional! I did not come to the grocery store to see a middle aged man, dressed like a Gen-Z, inappropriately dancing! In fact, if I wanted to see that, again, I could have stayed in California and saved myself the trip! Finally, once granted entry to the store by the dancing weirdo at the door, I went through the store and got my groceries. Then came the lines. Good grief. The lines were ridiculously long, and the checkers were busy having a conversation with each customer. This is not time to socialize! You are at work. When I am at work, I do not have the time, nor get paid to socialize. When it was finally my turn to checkout, the checker rang up my groceries and then I tried to pay her. I payed in cash and was trying to count my money. I put one paper note on the counter when suddenly another TJ employee was standing at the end of the checkout station started taking my money away from me and shoving it over to the checker. I was literally in the middle of counting out my money! It was extremely rude and I had to actually tell her to please stop taking my money while I count it out. It was so rude, I could not believe it! I will absolutely not be coming to this TJ location after this whole experience! read more

This location used to be one of my favorites. Until I was harassed by the woman at the door. They now follow you around the store making sure your mask is above your nose at all times! Makes for a very unpleasant shopping experience. While checking out I saw 3 other people with masks down under their noses and not one employee said a word! Don't selectively harass customers. It's not good for business. I've shopped at other locations and didn't experience this insanity. I won't be back to this store. read more

I'm only able to visit TJs a about once a month but it is my happy place. Over the last year or so I primarily go to just this location. The store is always well organized and clean. I have to really give a shout out to the staff. They have always been very helpful and kind. Especially during this time with covid, I feel like the experience here is always really pleasant. I feel comfortable. I've seen them clean the carts but they also provides wipes to do so yourself. I know it might be annoying for some people but I like that they have been limiting the capacity and sometimes (the weekends usually) there will be a line to get in. From what I've experienced, waiting to get in isn't a big issue - Maybe about 5 people or so and I've had to wait about 5 minutes. In general, TJs always has some unique and yummy things to try. Some stuff is seasonal so you gotta stock up. I love their flower arrangements and I feel they are reasonably priced. read more

This store is amazing! Very organized with excellent varieties of items. The staff is all very friendly and even under these circumstances of Covid and mask wearing. Some customers were rude to staff and did not want to wear a mask but the staff remained calm and professional. It is so nice to have this great store in the neighborhood.
