Cody is an awesome employee. The store was closing, Iam making specialty Xmas wreath looking tray appetizers. I need mini star cookies to add to the beautiful tray.... and low and behol, Cody out of the line and he gets it for me on the back shelf. What a sweetie. You don't get better than that for service. He was going home with a couple of Trader Joe's items as he was in line with me. He wasn't even the cashier.. He really was in the the spirit of Xmas. Happy holidays Cody...

i may have came here years ago, didn't write a review. this is the smallest Joe's i have ever frequented. all the usual items i buy didn't have many selections. i was in and out, ready to check out in minutes. surprisingly, cashier lines were nonexistent. there was plenty of parking in the lot too 1 ish. the garlic hummun (1.99) and quinoa black bean tortilla chips (2.99) were yummy. forgot to take pics here....trying to figure out store layout...

I'm done giving this place the benefit of the doubt. The produce is consistently old and moldy. Even when closely inspecting, we always get home and are angry by the low quality they sell. I've never experienced this at any other Trader Joes! Unacceptable.

I love this crew and store . Matthew and Mitchell are like Laurel and Hardy , always going for the joke ! Such a pleasure to shop among the glitterati

If you go in the morning, you might find the shelves being stock. As the day progresses towards the evening, less and less people are stocking the shelves. In the evening; forget about it! Went there twice to get two products that my kids ask for; TJ's tortillas and some sort of Takis tortillas chips, all within 8 days in the evening. Both times they were empty. Not the first time I seen this happen.

Banh mi Ba was closed today because they aren't open on Tuesday so I decided to get a sandwich from the Good Earth deli. It was meant to be a tofu banh mi -- It was on sourdough baguette with a pair of massive slabs of baked tofu. I give them credit for the delicious Japanese style pickle, but there simply wasn't enough of it and the scanty slices of daikon were OK, but ultimately this was better as a salad without the bread and added vinaigrette myself. Those chunks of tofu were undeniably tofu, but it was just not a great sandwich experience. The funny thing is, I had asked a couple of men dining outside the grocery store. If there was anything they recommended at the deli. They both told me what they had ordered and suggested requesting extra barbecue sauce for the brisket because it's quite dry. I was not expecting my tofu sandwich to be so dry but also soggy. I'll stick with Banh mi Ba for my banh mi -- and try other things at good earth going forward. Also, I just want to note that last November on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, my tire was vandalized by somebody who stuck a knife into it twice in on purpose purposes of the sidewall. They do not have cameras on the parking lot and even Fairfax police said "oh well we can't take reports for things that happened on private property" which honestly makes me wonder what they do when somebody breaks into a house or does something on "private" property. Does that mean laws are not enforced on private property in Fairfax? Stay tuned.

Not knowing anyone in the area and living in a 2 bedroom apartment we decided to outsource thanksgiving to Woodlands Market in Kentfield. We had shopped a few times at Kentfield and were very pleased with our experience so figured this was the ideal place to try takeout Thanksgiving. The pickup process was very convenient, they had a tent outside with multiple people helping customers. They walked through the order list show each item on the order list to make sure there wasn't anything missing, also they helped load items into the car. They even had snacks to offer, they made the atmosphere for pickup very nice ! We did their small turkey and assorted sides with desert option as we wanted some left overs. We were very happy with our choice !!! The sides were packed in aluminum containers which made re-heating very easy, the turkey was pre cooked so just needed to reheat. They provided instructions on how to reheat everything. Only thing I would change was I would of foiled the turkey top 1/2 through the reheat. The funny thing is when I went to throw out the box that the meal came in there was 2 boxes in the dumpster from others in the same dumpster from the apartment complex. Clearly we weren't the only ones overall this was a great experience and am going to order through them for Christmas as well.
