Great little pizza place with lots of offerings, friendly service, and quick too! We were staying at a hotel close by and got several slices to try. The white pizza was delicious! The place also looked really clean even in the cooking area.

We tried a few pizza places while visiting NYC. Hands down this was the best Penne Vodka Pizza!

After trying a few different pizza places while visiting NYC. This was hands down the best pizza we ate!

Stopped here on our walk because we were starving and looking for a place without a wait that wouldn't break the bank. There was one whole table open that we snagged right away. We each got slices and garlic knots. Service was decent. Slices were yummy. I had cheese. Husband had chicken parm. Garlic knots were ok. I've had better and worse. This was a pretty great find overall and I would definitely recommend.

Great, hot pizza! Tried the margharita slice and was crispy and had a perfectly thin crust. Was nicely warmed up. Indoor seating available. Perfect place to warm up on a cold day. Lot of variety of slices, their vodka slice is a best seller. Nice and quick service.

Traditas Pizza 4 Buck Plain Cheese Slice - Disappointing for the price!
Mike R.

Coming up Broadway from Madison Square Park and stopped in to Traiditas to try it out. Grabbed a $4 Plain Cheese Slice to stop an eat at one of their tables. For the price, my Traditas slice was disappointing. The crust, while thin, was more chewy. The cheese and sauce were not impressive and slightly salty. Don't plan on returning considering a short 2 1/2 blocks up Broadway is Upside Pizza with an identically priced 4 buck classic slice that was clearly superior! Recommend you take the time to go to Upside on the corner of W. 30th & Broadway instead!

This has got to be my new favorite NYC pizza place! We were visiting the store next door and we saw that people kept coming and going out of this place. The smell of freshly baked pizza finally lured us in and next thing we knew, we were in line to order. The worker was very friendly and he took our orders fast. We ordered one slice each of the following: White sauce pizza Caesar salad pizza Chicken bacon ranch ALL THREE SLICES WERE HEAVEN. The pizza itself had a nice crisp to it and it was baked to perfection. Each slice was flavorful, contained gooey cheese, and was a good size. I cant wait to be back and eat some more! That Caesar salad one is calling my name!

Personal pepperoni pizza

Newer pizza joint serving up super delicious pizza. I opted for a personal pepperoni pizza well done and it hit the spot perfectly. The pizza was thin crust and had the right ratio of sauce to cheese, which resulted a well tasting pie. The guys working there were super cool. Location is on Broadway relative close to Madison Square Park. It's one of the best pizzas I've had in this area. Definitely worth a venture if you're in the area. Check it out!

If you come and eat here, hear me out! TRY THE CHICKEN CEASAR SALAD PIZZA!! Its soooo good! Service was great and the line moved fast. The inside is small and only a few tables available. There were tables outside.

NYC is known for their pizza and based off of reviews thought this place was going to be amazing, but it fell short and there are plenty of other pizza places around that could be a better choice. You walk in pick your slice and they heat it up for you. We also got the garlic knots. The garlic knots were actually good. The pizza though although it looked good lacked flavor and when it was heated up tasted like cardboard. Im so glad I only got one piece because it just was not doing it for me.

Just the basics - pepperoni and cheese pizza.

Tradita's Pizza was a recommend from the Front Desk. A good place to go to when you're just tired and don't want to go too far away to eat on a very cold night. Tradita's Pizza is a place around the corner from ALoft. The small venue is a nice, quiet place in a not too touristy area. The staff was friendly and the pizza was pretty good. We got a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni. Both were delicious.

Margarita pizza

We came here after an unfortunate experience somewhere else and they really made up for it! We had their margarita pizza the first day. Our second day, we tried the ceasar salad pizza and the bruschetta pizza, both were immaculate! And for our last day we got a whole Caesar salad pie! The service was amazing! Worth eating here in NYC!!

Mary A.

Easy ordering and friendly staff, but the pizza was not what I'm used to in New York City.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Personally prefer the margarita as it seems to be a more well-rounded pizza and the tomato just can't be missed. It was pretty packed inside when we got there and took the bar seating, so would probably recommend a reservation for larger parties (2+) on evenings. Definitely one of my top neopolitan pizza spots in NYC!

Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
