people come to new yor for "glitz" and "glam" as a bit of a expert myself i always tell people to go to this spot because it is Famous! boy well it's famous for a reason. I like to come in here to get work done. just set up my laptop and grab a sunkist from the fridge.that's finger lickin good!! my order is a 18" Mix Vegetables pie. Never really had vegetables as a part of my diet until i tried Famous Pizza. i told my wife john how much i love it and i wish there was a place you can get the vegetables without the pizza sometimes!! i always take a picture of myself in here because i like how the bright light shines on my. i am beautiful no matter what they say (kind of a quote i just came up with.) wish i could use emoji on yelp mix vegetable pizza:. ________ / .p o . o} l . o b o l `______'

I must say - I'm pleasantly surprised. I've passed by this place a multitude of times but never stopped in. This place is usually busy around lunch and it always smells good. Today, I finally stopped in. They have a great deal where it's $5 for two regular slices and a water or can of soda. The slices themselves are quite delicious. Honestly, it's a steal and is probably come back.

Delicious pizza by the slice. Loved margarita and hubby loved pep and jalapeño. Cool joint for sure. Reasonable yummy

You know what, maybe this place should be a teensy famous! I had two solid cheese pizza slices for $4.26. I was hungry and needed a quick bite. The crust was soft soft bread that I loved to munch on and the cheese wasn't too greasy. Can't do credit or debit on anything lower than $5.00. Hole in the wall, but it ain't bad!

    * Drunk? * Hungry? * Too lazy to walk to anywhere else good? * Have cash? If more than half apply to you, do yourself a favor and stop searching on Yelp for the "best" and just come here to get exactly one slice of pizza. No frills and incredibly cheap, this'll scratch that itch for you.

I gave this place three stars b/c it's not a classic NY pizza place as far as taste. It however makes up for being a quiet spot in the middle of manhattan to sit down when u don't feel like searching for another spot and just to relax and enjoy your food. Pros - nice specials (see pics) $2 slice of cheese pizza. This is a place for a quick bite to eat spot and to take a quick seat before your on the go again. This place has about 7 stools it's small but that's more than enough seats unless it's super busy. The pizza was nice and cheesy. The place is super quiet and peaceful given it's 3pm on a sunny spring day in NY. Cons- although the pizza is cheesy this is not your classic NY slice as the ratio or sauce and cheese is not accurate. You can not taste the sauce, it's more cheese and bread.

Delicious cheese slice that came out of the oven. Freshly made.

My husband and I decided to check this spot out before heading home we are happy that we decided to give it a swirle. We loved it so much that we went back again for 2nd. Not to sure why this spot has low ratings but the prices are amazing and the pizza is too . Definitely come here and check em out .

Mushroom pizza, jalapeño and red pepper pizza.

Amazing pizza, I had the jalapeño and my husband had the mushroom. The individual that helped us was named Uddin, very friendly service. Can't wait to come back and bring our friends!

They gave me this half a slice of pizza and told me that's how it is.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
