    Fried Jalapeños

So we went to the Fort Worth Stockyards and decided to grab something to eat after the cattle show. It was 4 of us and once my food got to the table I was hungry and didn't get a chance to take photos of my food but it was a good burger, I had the buffalo meat blend burger it was well made but didn't have a real buffalo taste, but maybe that's the blend. I was told that they changed the patty from the original so that may be the reason. But besides that the fried jalapeños were a great appetizer as well as the cheese bites. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers. Now the restaurant has both a place inside and outside to eat at, we choose to eat indoors and it was well decorated with Stockyard and Texas history memorabilia. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the Fort Worth Stockyards area.

This was our second choice due to Hookers being closed. Was it a viable option? Food-wise, yes. Price-wise, not so much. Service was good and food was good. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and our burgers and fries were very tasty. I would recommend the mushroom Swiss burger without hesitation. Prices were higher than at Hookers, but fries were included, so not too bad. The only complaint would be cleanliness. I understand the vintage appeal of the stockyards, but this place could definitely use a good cleaning. I felt like I needed to shower after we left there. The booth we sat in had torn seats, the plastic tablecloth was tattered and dirty, and the paint was peeling on the wood around the windows. Just felt icky.

First time dinning here it was overall good food and good service. The chicken sandwich was cooked well and everything tasted fresh.

I definitely like the atmosphere of this place. It's in the 90° range today and they have plenty of fans running on the porch. I ordered just six wings and some fries for lunch. But what shocked me was the size of the wings. They're almost as big as a packet of sugar. Tiny, minuscule, Not a joke. Definitely not worth the price. But the sweet potato fries are generous and really good.

We were at the stockyards and were hungry. This restaurant was as good as any and we could get seated immediately. We were greeted right away. We got seated outside and could watch everyone walk by. We ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer which was the best part of the meal. They were not overly breaded and seasoned perfectly. We shared some mild buffalo wings. These were ok, we have had better. They could have been fried just a little bit longer for my taste. We also shared their world famous buffalo burger. We were definitely not impressed with this dish at all. The tots were crispy and seasoned well. But the burger was just blah. Overall it was a below average meal.

Our server Alex was great . Nice Texas ambiance. Children's meal is large and great deal at $5.99. Son had cheeseburger, fries and drink included. My chicken tenders were disappointing. Ok for quick bite.

We waited 30-40 muntes for our food. Multiple people sat down and got their food right away. For some reason our burgers took forever. The manager said it was a normal wait time but that didn't explain why people that were just sitting down got their food. The staff reflects the management at this place. If he don't care the other staff don't care. Shake shack is a 3 minute walk and you get your food in less than 10 minutes. Don't waste your time at this place.

So... Let me just say, I was not expecting this EXPERIENCE on a Tuesday night!!! We ordered fried pickles, sweet potato fries, the philly cheese steak, and the Wrangler burger because the philly was not quite big enough to share. I have so much to say, but I will try to be brief. Arturo.... Arturo... Arturo... He went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He gave us an amazing history on the stockyards, the restaurant, and the food that we were about to indulge in! His customer service and attention to detail are impeccable. Now to the food... just wow! The quality of the ingredients on this burger was top tier. Meat and veggies were so fresh, and the meat was seasoned perfectly . The philly was tender and flavorful, and the bread was fresh, just small. He made my week, and I will be returning over and over. Fried mushrooms are next on the list!! Thank you Trailboss and Thank you Arturo and staff!!! You were all amazing!!!

They attended my party very quickly during rush hour. Food and service were great. It's a chill spot to eat with family or friends when you're in the stockyards.

Food was cold, serval orders were returned.. do not get the catfish. Server was helpful removed a lot of orders and remade some as well

If you're looking for a great burger, this is definitely a place to stop. The area is nice older very comforting, western seen. The Texas twister chips were really really good I ordered the free range burger and the egg was perfectly done and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Definitely great flavor. My girlfriend ordered the GAUCHO burger. Her exact words were yummy. Parking is definitely going to be an issue. There's different areas to park. The restrooms are very clean, but there is only one stall fir men and one stall for women. You might have a little weight.

I was told to head to the stockyards in FW if I wanted good steak and burgers, and I am a huge backyard burger type of person. We saw that Riscky's burgers had a short wait and we decided to stop in, and I have to say this was an excellent burger joint. Great service, and very good food. Definitely pride themselves on their burgers, and we will most likely be coming back here soon. The burgers are not over the top gourmet, but very simple type burgers. Can't wait to come back.

Buffalo burger is okay- wrangler burger is okay. Was looking forward to a memorable Texas Burger and definitely less than impressed. Have had better in chain restaurants. Definitely a tourist trap. Portions on sides are fine. My husband says he give his burger (wrangler) 8/10. Service was - BAD- 2/10. Had to ask waiter several times for mayo and ranch as he was too busy hanging out with the hostess to deliver what we asked for. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return.

Dammmm. Oh this place is legit…read more I've been to the Stockyards many times, but never here. This time, I Yelped burgers and Hooker's popped up. I've seen this lace but didn't understand it. But Yelp is rarely wrong so off I go. I showed up and ordered from a small kitchen woo. Menu was on a board. I got a single patty chz burger w/ crispy FFs. Order showed up a few minutes later. This burger was one of the best I've ever had. And I've had Margie's in Bryan and this one is right there. Juicy patty, grilled onions, melting cheese, a little salt n pepper. Oh so good. The FFs are good too. Thin sliced n seasoned just right - for me. And rounding it off old school, RC Cola. It was a great lunch.

We had a weekday off and decided to make an effort to show up. We werent disappointed! We didnt want to go into a food coma, so we ordered an indian taco to share and some tater tots. It took maybe 7 minutes for our order, which was not bad at all with them frying up the frybread on order. To our surprise, the owner decided that the one frybread we were initially having was too small, so we got two "medium" frybreads with all the fixings. The owner is super nice and didnt have to do that! The frybread itself is the best Ive had at a restaurant in DFW. Its soft, while crispy and substantial in its doughiness. The fixings are not fancy, but they are executed well in every aspect. I like that they offer green chili sauce in addition to all the typical taco fixings. The tater tots were super crispy and were exactly what I wanted in tater tots. While the seating here is in a covered outdoor shack, they do have air conditioning. The day we visited was a pleasant 70 degrees, so there was no need for the AC to run. But I also mention this in case you come in August. I imagine the AC unit does a good job, but its not a typical interior setup.

My kids played Starwars pin ball, they played on a really cool play ground, jumped on their jumping station, and played on their pedal controlled race car track. As if Chuck E Cheese got into the beer brewing industry. Had to use my phone to first sign a waiver, which is odd and felt like a ploy to be able to get your information probably for marketing. Also had to use your phone in order to order food even though I was standing at the counter speaking to an employee. Tried the mini corn dogs and fries. Both tasted frozen which was a letdown since breweries usually have great food. The beer is definitely the star of the place though as it should be. Will continue to buy it in the stores but wouldn't return to the brewery.
