STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. This place is also known as Delta Powersports and is at 1450 Karen Way. They are a Harley and Honda dealer as well as BMW. My only advice would be to stay away from these rip off artists. You would be better off pushing your bike to Anchorage for service. I got a flat on my 2012 Honda Goldwing rear tire and had it towed to their shop on a Monday when they were closed. I showed up first thing the next morning for them to look at it and naturally they did not have a tire for the bike. I called around and found one in Anchorage. They can get parts for their BMW's out of Anchorage the same day but would NOT share with me who the carrier was that delivered from Anchorage to Fairbanks the same day (via air to the airport right next to their dealership). I had to rent a car and drive to Anchorage to get the tire, on the trip back I called and let them know that I had the tire and asked that they put the bike on the rack and remove the wheel ad the end of day so that when I arrived at 7:30 the next morning they could get the new tire on and I could be on my way, they said they would. BTW theses bandits quoted 2.3 hours to install the new rear tire when any other reputable Honda dealer charges between 1.2 and 1.4 hours. When I arrived the next morning with the new tire the bike was still on the floor with the flat tire. The techs arrived between 7:30 and 8:00 and visited and had coffee for 15 minutes before getting started. While my bike still sat on the floor I returned the rental car to the airport and returned about 35 minutes later. At that point the bike was on the rack and the rear wheel was off, so it probably only took about 25 minutes to get that part of the job done. Since they were charging me for 2.3 hours of work they let the wheel sit beside the bike for about 45 minutes before they let some rookie put it on the tire machine and struggle with it for 30 minutes before someone that knew how to use it came along and showed him hoe to get the old tire off and the new tire on. Then they let it sit again for another 30 minutes before putting it back on the bike. Finally they test rode it and gave me the keys and a bill for $380. So, almost 4 hours after they were supposed to start work on the bike I was back on the road. My brother and a friend had 3 tires replaced on their Goldwing's in Nanaimo, BC at the start of our trip and the total labor for them was $306 Canadian and the job was done in less than 90 minutes. I can understand the higher labor rate in Fairbanks but to double the time required to do a simple job (and then let the bike sit idle to use up that time) Is simply a ripoff. Totally Awesome Dealership!!!! Doug Chambers went miles above anything I would have expected in servicing our BMW Riding Group. Doug Stored 7 - BMW R1200GS's for 6 weeks after riding to Fairbanks from San Diego! We stored our bikes in May and returned in late June to continue our Adventure! I rode my RT down the gnarly gravel drive to Trail's End dealership as there were no BMW shops in BC or YK and I desperately needed a battery. The location seemed downscale for a BMW dealership. Let me be clear, although they may sell BMW motorcycles here, this is a Harley shop. They can't help you. They did not have the part, a surprise since the similar GS model is about all I saw riding up from Spokane. The guy at the parts counter didn't even know what an RT was, I had to spell it out for him. Don't plan on this dealership if you need anything for your Beemer, but if the cowbell or something else rattled off your boneshaker, you might give it a try! read more

What a bunch of knucklehead GS reviewers. I ride a GS ADV and they bent over backwards to help me. I got there when they opened and they were able to get me in for a much needed oil change after a long ride with no advanced warning on my part. Ya it took me 2-3 hours but there were several people in front of me that were smart enough to call ahead. Ya, they mostly sell Harleys but there are plenty GS merchandise and bikes if you need them. I have purchased two BMW motorcycles from this dealer. I have had great experiences both times. The last bike I ordered was a BMW K1600GT and it was shipped from New Jersey I believe. The bike took 2 weeks or so to get here after I ordered it. It was received and delivered to me before the promised time. Upon discovering that the 2015 keyless rides only came with 1 key and my manual said it was supposed to have 2 keys they immediately spoke to their BMW rep and got another key sent. They are a very busy shop and there service department is flooded during the riding season due to all the tourism in the area. However they have always found time to take care of any needs I have had. I will be a long time customer for this shop even after leaving the state-I would still go back to purchase my next bike! read more

I was in Fairbanks and visited trails end bmw for a pair of GS dry gloves. I reviewed the sales information and it states that they are waterproof. I purchased the gloves and went on a ride to Circle. It started raining after about 90 minutes on the road and my hands got wet from the non-waterproof gloves. Since I was riding with 4 other riders, going back to trails end was not an option. We got back around 8 pm. We went back to the dealer on Wednesday (bought gloves on Monday) to return them. The bmw man who talked up the gloves on Monday and instructed me on the wearing of them, accused me of not being truthfully about the gloves and told me that no gloves can handle the Fairbanks rain. After being not customer friendly at all, he said ok return them. I will never shop or deal with this dealership no matter what. read more

I would not use this motorcycle shop if it was the last one one the planet. I rode up from Oklahoma. I shipped tires I bought to them. They put on my tires and changed out a front sprocket. $435. They had quoted $335. Which is also obscene. Being from out of town and in a little of a bind they took full advantage of me and my riding buddy. His tire swap rear brake pads and rear sprocket. $675. Tires that we bought and shipped to them!! Anchorage Bmw said they were $45 per tire. That's about right. Fairbanks mechanic $110/hour. They will overcharge on everything they can. read more
