[[HIGHLIGHT]]I haven't been to Teriyaki Time in a while, but was surprised to see how open and bright and colorful the place was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered spicy teriyaki, chicken fried rice and chicken katsu. The spicy teriyaki was delicious with the right kick. The katsu was crunchy and juicy at the same time. They also have miso soup for indoor dining. The lady who took order was nice and brought our food out quickly.

Humongous upgrades to the decor since the last time we were there. I sincerely hope it was not a change in ownership or that the prior owners got a great deal out of it - they were so sweet. The interior has been redone. Looks great. I think they always had the free tea out - that is still there. We've never gotten anything but the teriyaki here. I tried the yakisoba this time and loved the slightly sweet, gingery take. Probably my favorite yakisoba now. Will continue to be one of our favorite teriyaki spots. Thank you!

Shady portions! Both are supposed to be large portions. Left is normal chicken teriyaki and right is spicy. Said spicy gets less meat.

Extremely disappointed with this place. Overpriced, inconsistent portions, and outright dishonest. I ordered two large chicken teriyakis--one spicy, one regular--at $18 each. When I got home, the spicy dish had significantly less meat than the regular one (see photo, spicy on the right), more like a regular portion size. When we called to complain, they insisted we return with the food, which is ridiculous. Then they claimed their spicy teriyaki portions are always smaller, which no one mentioned when I ordered over the phone. How does that make sense when it's the same chicken with different sauce? They took our number promising a manager callback. Even if they comp the meal, the damage is done. They should've offered a discount or charged regular price ($15) instead of $18. It's not just about a few dollars but how customers are treated and how poorly they handled this. They clearly don't value customer service and expect customers won't notice their shady practices.

Chicken katsu was delicious - very crispy and the meat was tender. I did half half sauce which one was a more sweet/sour sauce and the other was peanut sauce - highly recommend the peanut sauce. The salad was nice to balance out the fried entree. A super filling meal - great during the cold weather. The vegetarian yakisoba noodles were average in flavor but we appreciated the large portion size. The veggies were fresh in the dish. Was able to get a to go box for our remaining half. Space was clean and staff was friendly. For dine in customers there is complimentary miso soup and hot tea available!

While it didn't stand out as anything special, it gets the job done. The food portions are decent, giving you enough for the price you pay, which is fair for what you get. The flavor was okay, but nothing that would make me rush back. If you're in the area and craving a quick, simple teriyaki meal, it's a solid option, but don't expect anything extraordinary. The food is made to order so expect to wait.

Everyone from WA was telling me that WA has the best chicken teriyaki so I had to try it out for myself. There's also a teriyaki place in every corner, so there's plenty of options. We ordered two chicken teriyaki plates and one spicy chicken teriyaki level 3 spicy spiciness. Food came out in under than 15 mins and for a small hole in the wall place it was good. The guy at the counter was pretty nice as well, he kept coming over to check in on us and have us try different sauces.

Came in late with my boyfriend 30 minutes before closing. Still had two parties ahead of us so we waited a bit. The staff was so friendly and patient, he asked us if a togo box is ok, brought the food to our table and even checked on us while we ate. I did not expect this kind of hospitality at this late at this type of joint. You could go to a full on restaurant and still not receive this kind of service. Dishes were a little salty for me but my boyfriend loved it. Can't ask for more from a teriyaki place.

    Beef teriyaki

Beef teriyaki is tasty and portion is big! I deliberately ordered this item as it comes with steamed rice and green salad. Would recommend. Directly across the street from South center Mall, there is bike parking nearby but I just left my bike on sidewalk in front, it's fine.

This place is adorable. right away as soon as I walked in I love the feeling. had a very friendly home feeling to it. the cashier who took my order super nice super sweet friendly guy. he brings you your food he was very friendly very sweet. also on top of that I watched another customer come in who worked across the street at the Bubble Tea Store and the cashier delivered this guy's teriyaki chicken to him. the guy said I will be back in a few minutes to get his food and the cashier went ahead and just delivered it to him. which was an amazing service right there nothing asked for extra of him. Also the food was amazing the potstickers was delicious the chicken teriyaki was great the rice was good you get a choice between the white dressing and the yellow dressing it was really good for the price and I will be going back highly recommend to anybody who's in the area and wanting teriyaki

I ate here three times within a two week period in Seattle, twice dining in the restaurant and ordering once with UberEats. The first time, we had just gotten off a flight into SeaTac and had to run errands around Southcenter when we came upon this hidden gem of a restaurant just in time for dinner. I was not happy to have to be in Seattle so I was looking for comfort food and this place hit the spot! The owners are so friendly and welcoming that it almost made me forget that I wasn't back in LA. They make you feel at home with the complimentary miso soup at dinner time and checking in with you to make sure you're enjoying the food. The teriyaki chicken was perfectly moist and tender. The potstickers were crisp and flavorful with the accompanying dipping sauce. The fresh side salad provided the best balance to the meal with the refreshing carrot dressing. The carrot dressing tasted just like how my grandma used to make it! I also appreciated that there was a bottle of teriyaki sauce at each table so that you can decide how much sauce you want on your food. It's a small yet thoughtful touch. My husband loved the beef teriyaki and hoarded the bottle of teriyaki sauce! We both inhaled our meals and it was so memorable that I had to order from them again not a few days later with UberEats. The UberEats order was absolute perfection! I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba with a side of potstickers and miso soup. The food arrived hot and all the flavors were on point. They also made sure to add all the utensils and sauces so nothing was forgotten. On our way to SeaTac to finally leave town, we stopped in for a final meal. I had to get the Teriyaki Special #5 again with the chicken and the potstickers. Again, everything was well made and it was so satisfying to have consistently delicious meals. Take the time to find this place when you're shopping around Southcenter. Those typical mall restaurants may be convenient but Teriyaki Time will give you consistent, delicious food and a welcoming environment.

The interior pictures on yelp are old and outdated. This place is remodeled, it's very well maintained, really good customer service. The owner took time to explain the menu and sauces to us. Checked with us multiple times to ensure everything was good. Free tea and misu soup for dine-in. Overall would recommend to friends and come again! We got katsu chicken and the special bowl #31 The food was delicious

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.
