Had a really good time here! The food was tasty and fresh, just what you want from an Italian spot. The service was great too, the server recommended us some specials... super friendly and on top of things. Plus, the iced tea is delicious, must try!!!Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're in the mood for some good Italian food!!!

Hit or miss. Only in NJ, will you occasionally receive rancid smelling fish. I shouldn't have to ask to send it back. I shouldn't have to receive smelly fish. Only in NJ... When they receive fresh produce, it's a really decent restaurant. The last time I went, I got rancid smelling fish. Wh

Had an amazing meal here. The food was all very fresh and flavorful! I loved the Frutti di Mare pasta and the Ossobucco. Both dishes came with fresh pasta! Make sure to save room for dessert here because Donna the pastry chef has these desserts PERFECTED! The Napoleon was to die for and the tiramisu was also delicious! The Chocolate Soufflé was also very tasty and light! If you're in the Milburn area, Basilico is the place to be for dinner!!

We had a great time here for dinner. Beautiful, local restaurant with street parking or small lot attached. They are BYOB, but also have so.e wines available for purchase. Great news...if you want one of their pastas, they are flexible and you can order an appetizer portion. They even split our cacio e pepe in the kitchen! Delicious. The lasagna and salmon were also very delicious. Overall, a nice evening with amazing service and reasonably priced. So glad that they survived the flood from last year. We'll be back.

The food was average and the service was minimal. In fact the person who delivered the food almost threw the food on the table. It was very unprofessional, no proper utensils and had to flag the waiter down to get utensils and only brought a fork and no knife and appeared annoyed when asked for a knife. It was 4 of us having dinner before going to the playhouse. The food was mediocre as best. We all had different dishes and none were great. I do not recommend this place either so many places in Millburn to eat. No reason to eat here.

Totally bummed. I love Basilico so I order two pieces of tiramisu to-go. I got home and found that only one piece was in the bag.

I always love trying something off their seasonal pizza menu; during my most recent visit, I loved their maple bacon pizza, which had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. They don't accept reservations, so expect it to be pretty busy, especially during the weekends. Note that they also only have a limited cold food menu during the off hour between lunch and dinner.

So, I decided to give it a try for dinner. They don't accept reservations. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday to avoid crazy wait times, but still had to wait ~40 minutes. It didn't feel very long since the waiting area has a mobile wine/beer bar outside & you're able to order drinks from the restaurant as well while you wait. I didn't come with kids, but I saw a lot of families waiting. It was a kid friendly space. The inside was quite dim & it kept getting dimmer as the night progressed. I didn't love this, but it didn't bother me as much either. Pizza was delicious, and the bread tasted very fresh. The pictures show an individual pizza size, which we were told might not be big enough to share, but we made it work amongst 3 girls. Service was fast - I assume since they're trying to free up tables quickly. I'd recommend going at a non-peak time if you don't like to wait, but definitely worth a try even if for takeout!

Slightly dim, but well balanced lighting. There is limited street parking, but it sits directly across from a metered parking lot (free after 6pm). This place has a business casual vibe, so I wouldn't recommend dressing down. This place is BYOB!! Friendly staff, service speed is good. You get complimentary warm bread with oil. We had the Fettuccine Cara Mia, Tableside Chicken Parm (easily feed two people), & Lobster Ravioli (which was a special). Everything was absolutely EXCELLENT!! A funny moment when our server came to check on us and all 4 of us were done, lol. He found us with 4 empty plates and 4 full belly's. I got the spicy vodka chicken parm. For $36 it is a massive piece of chicken with a small amount of pasta, and absolutely worth the cost! They bring out the dish of hot melty sauce and cheese and pour it over the fresh cutlet. I enjoyed my entree. The cutlet had no yucky bits, and was breaded perfectly. I couldn't say enough good things about the spicy sauce, too. I loved the spice. The appetizers and desserts were also fantastic. The spicy garlic shrimp and calamari were good. And the tartufo my mom and I split for dessert was great, next time I'll get the tiramisu, my personal favorite. Fed me for 2 meals. Recommend a reservation as it's small and gets crowded. It was a bit warm inside on a Friday night.
