Ever since staying at a B&B in Napa, I ended searching for one in Seattle and stumbled upon Greenlake Guest House. I checked availability, what they offer and so forth and grew too love it and wanted to book our stay with them! Julie our host was so amazing! She was kind and attentive! When we arrived she gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room! There is a community fridge with water and sodas as well as a Keurig for coffee or tea. There was a welcome basket and bottle of wine that was provided with our stay. Julie told us that we can use their contactless app to put in our breakfast order or utilize the sheet that was provided. She told us that we can pick as little or as much as we wanted. I read great reviews on her homemade granola and definitely had to try it! After breakfast they would give you the sheet to choose breakfast for the next day. Everyday there's something different and everything that we had tried has been delicious! They bake fresh cookies everyday and you have the option to request for them on the menu and if you need your room cleaned. Julie and her staff were all so amazing to us during our stay! We really enjoyed our time here and appreciate their hospitality! Will definitely stay again whenever we visit again!

We arrived to Hampton Inn & Suites on a Saturday afternoon during the recent President's Day holiday. The hotel is located in a very nice area in downtown Seattle. Paid parking is accessible in the parking garage and outdoor parking lot around the hotel. The hotel has bright modern decor. Lobby was clean and spacious. Ambiance was welcoming. Our 2 queen bedroom suite was cozy and roomy for our party of 4. The beds were quite comfy. I always appreciate the Hilton provided toiletries in the bathroom and shower. The usual Hampton Inn amenities such as the complimentary hot breakfast and the 24 hour water dispenser/coffee bar are always appreciated and a great touch. I found the breakfast to be a vast, hearty, and tasty spread of omelettes, sausages, potatoes, self made waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, bread, and pastries. USA Today newspapers is provided as well. Since the hotel is located in downtown, unfortunately there was a high priced daily charge for parking. There was a fitness room but we never got a chance to use it. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It was a short walk to the Space Needle, Climate Pledge Arena, Chihuly Museum, Museum of Pop Culture, and the Armory Food Hall. The QFC grocery store for all your essentials is located conveniently across the street. Pike Place Market is a short drive away. Brunch spots and other restaurants are walking distance as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle downtown. The staff were nice and accommodating. The price point for the hotel was a great value. Only gripe was that there was no swimming pool or jacuzzi. Next time we are in town we will definitely be back especially when the Seattle Sonics are gonna return to play at Pledge Climate Arena.

I picked a corner view facing the Space Needle - nope, hotel switched me go a room far away from the elevator overlooking the parking lot instead. I'm here for work so I won't be around the room much, but why even bother letting me select a room when you're just gonna stick me into the shitty room after selling room selection as a feature? :( Room itself is nice and big though, and while dated at least is clean and is conveniently located.

Both are in the heart of bustling Ballard Ave, where most of the restaurants, cafes, boutiques and bars are located. Ballard Inn is a small historic building, nicely repurposed to a hotel. Not all the rooms have a private bathroom; I phoned ahead to make sure we had our own! Our room had an exterior door directly to street access on Vernon. The room was nicely-appointed, clean & we felt safe. The cost included unlimited access to the beautiful Olympic Athletic Club, located across the street at the (substantially!) more expensive new Hotel Ballard. Our stay was Weds to Friday, thus the neighborhood was quiet yet it can get bustling during our famous Ballard Sunday Farmers Market, or Friday & Saturday nights when the bars get busy. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0d48cYvQUbCr6C2tPlU9rlbKQ

Each room is spacious, equipped with full kitchen and a large business desk with separate living room. I prefer staying in one bedroom suites because having a bedroom door with separate kitchen and living room space when on business travels makes it easier to wind down with comfy home away from home vibes. Moreover, it's easy to park here, in an underground parkade with in and out privileges and reasonably priced at $25/day. They have a small business center on site and I appreciate the professionalism of their manager and willingness to help with admin tasks like photocopying. Pool is small and prob will not suffice for avid lap swimmers, and their gym is likely the better choice as an exercise option. This hotel's highlight that is food related could be their "social" happy hour reception from Mon to Wed, which offers hotel guests unlimited free wine, draft beer, teas, coffee etc and it is a refreshing afternoon break. Their breakfast serves well as a decent meal option with protein such as eggs and bacon plus plenty of carb choices, including bagels, cute waffle machines and fresh fruits. One of the con of this place - its entertainment options are dated with no Netflix or Disney or Apple TV subscription. This does not affect me because I don't watch TV and I have my own iPad for Netflix, Disney and Apple TV. Also if you prefer water views and walking distance to Pike Place Market when visiting Seattle then you may opt to stay in a different area. The Fremont location is good for attractions such as the Seattle Zoo and it's not far to drive to Pike Place Market or the University District. Overall, I enjoy staying here when its location works well for my itinerary and it serves my work travel needs. Bonus points for its underground parkade (it's much appreciated & helpful on rainy days) and I would recommended this hotel for folks that prefers spacious suites plus the convenience of full kitchen facilities.
