Yes, the job got done but at a cost of $60 for less than 7 minutes of work. I was not provided an estimate cost before the work was started. I would have declined. But, I silently paid and walked out with regret. Who is running the business? The technician? He finalized the work order. If I ran the business, I would have charged for only 1 adjustment ($15). Total of $45 or $60 would not have made much difference. I can afford it. But, it is the bad feeling when I walked out.

I took my bike in around 11:00 and discussed what my beloved old Mango bike might need. I was happy to hear that, overall, my bike was in great shape. I was advised to do the basic level of tune-up & was told that it might be 3-4 days before my bike was ready. Imagine my happy surprise when I hit a phone call about 3-4 HOURS later!! Woohoo! I went right away to pick Mango up & took the homemade cookies with me to show my appreciation for the quick service. As promised, my 20+ year older bike now looks & seems brand new. Went to another bike store, replaced bearings for $70, fixed derailer and cleaned bike for free. Bike has no sound and rides like a new bike.

He told me what I needed done first to what I could hold off on and come back over time and up grade.
