We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner at Tressini in Ambler and, as always, it lived up to our expectations. The food was excellent overall. Everything was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, and the crispy potatoes were absolutely to die for. While my swordfish came out slightly cold and a tad bland, the quality and taste of the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The service was strong, especially considering how busy New Year's Eve can be. We were taken great care of by who I believe was the manager for the evening, which made the experience feel especially welcoming and well managed. Our server seemed extremely busy, and while we wish he could have been a bit more accommodating, it was clear he was juggling a lot and still handled everything wonderfully. My family comes to Tressini very often and we always look forward to dining here. it's a place we truly enjoy and trust for a great meal. The only things we'd love to see improved are a bit more variety on the menu and more dessert options, as there was a heavy focus on gelato. Overall, another lovely experience, and we'll definitely be back again soon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was definitely packed for the holiday, but it was not crazy loud to the point where you can't hear yourself so no complaints on the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Some dishes were delicious, others were ehh. It has a nice vibe inside and the service was good. The bread/ricotta cheese/honey and the lamb chops were delicious! But, the tuna crudo was pretty disappointing. It didn't have any citrus or olive oil flavor, and was very thick for crudo. I was surprised that it was seared as well, as typically it comes raw. The pork chop was bland but crunchy. The bolognese pasta was pretty good but I'd try something else next time. I would go back for the lamb/bread sides and nice atmosphere. Would try different dishes next time and hope they compare to the lamb!

Came here for a NYE dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was delicious, especially the caponata appetizer and the bread. The pasta dishes were both really tasty and the service was quick and attentive.

We had dinner at Tresini with friends, on their recommendation, and it was a wonderful meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is absolutely a hidden gem in Ambler. The building itself is unassuming, but opens up to a lovely space inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were a handful of people with children, but I wouldn't recommend this for families with young children.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was excellent. We had their signature bread with dips, mussels, a charcuterie board, drinks, and a variety of pasta entrees. The bread was divine, but needed a little more bread for the amount of dips we got. I had Bucatini with shrimp for dinner and it had a wonderful silky texture. The service was solid on a crowded Saturday night. The waiter was helpful, and was able to make some good recommendations so we didn't end up with too much food. The portions are reasonable, but not overly generous. I was the only person, out of four, who didn't finish the entree. We will absolutely be back! Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 3/5 (it was an expensive meal)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Good food served well in rustic setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Caesar salad was adequate for 2 diners and the pasta and bread were outstanding.

This spot is absolutely adorable prime date night material. We kicked things off with the beef tartare. Flavor? Spot on. Texture? A little too minced for our taste borderline mushy, but honestly, I'd still order it again. Next up, yellowfin tuna. Solid dish, and that sauce? Chef's kiss. Now, let's talk about the oysters. They were on the special menu that night, and WOW... bangers. As an oyster fanatic, I can confirm they did these Rockefellers right. For the main, this seafood lover went for the Mediterranean dorade picatta. Perfectly seasoned, crispy skin. Then came the Cacio e Pepe. A simple, classic Italian dish. Was it life changing? No. Was it creamy enough? Also no. My partner thought it was okay, but as a non-pasta person, it just didn't do it for me. Big shoutout to our waiter, who was on top of everything by keeping our space clean, ensuring we were set for each dish, just top-tier service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ordered everything at once, and the whole experience was smooth, professional, and paired with the perfect warm, intimate lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth a visit!

I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times it was outstanding! On this outing, we ordered eggplant milanese, porcini campanelle, dorade, crispy potatoes, and tiramisu budino. Everything was delicious and truly memorable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a perfect place for a date night or special occasion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great as well.

Very enjoyable dinner. The staff and restaurant itself are very welcoming. There appears to be at least 3 different rooms where you can dine. We ate in the main room next to sliding glass doors that open into maybe a private dining area. The menu looks very interesting and varied. We really enjoyed the Piatta (homemade bread with sea salt) along with the Favetta (Fava bean purée, crème fraiche and pickled shallots). The Grilled Porchetta (pork) belly with broccoli rabe was delicious as well as different. I'm not usually a fan of salads one way or another but the Shaved Tuscan Kale salad was amazing. For our entrees we had 2 of the pastas that had tastes from both ends of the spectrum. The Spaghetti Chitarra (Octopus) with spicy salsa verde was very good but a little on the oily side for my taste. The Sweet Corn Cappellacci (little bonnets with sweet corn filling) was delicious but almost tasted like a dessert. We were given a Vanilla Gelato with a candle in it to celebrate our anniversary - an appreciated touch for the end of our meal. With such an interesting menu we will definitely be back.

My goodness, I really need to get back to Tresini. I attended a friend's baby shower and the menu had curated great food options from the apps, to the salad, main plates and sides. I love a ricotta with honey drizzle. I also really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Those crispy fingerling potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The servers and staff did an great job during the event. I am due to go back for dinner at Tresini.

Most familiar places were closed, it being Monday so we took to Google to see what our options were. We just wanted burgers. Nothing fancy. We got seated right away and got to peruse the menu. Simple and to.the point. More than reasonable prices for how excellent the food is. Nothing over $20 on the menu. Seriously. I got the maple bbq burger. Now, the only note I have is the bacon could've been crispier. Other than that, it was juicy, full of flavor, cooked perfectly and all elements worked in harmony. The bbq sauce wasn't too sweet or ketchup-y like some and the maple bacon was YUM. My mom got the cheese burger with cooper sharp and it was heavenly. The tomatoes were just bursting with flavor. The decor is geared towards music. We had an old pic of Sonny & Cher with Bob Dylan. It was hard to look at given how changed Cher is from her um... enhancements. But when we finally had the opportunity to get a reservation at Mary, I felt compelled to write one. It didn't just "not disappoint", it exceeded every expectation we hoped to have. We sat at the bar, which gave a cool bar vibe with our own bottle of wine (which you don't always get at BYOs), and we had a clear view into the open kitchen. Plus, the service was perfectly on point throughout the entire meal. We started with the ceviche, which was a very generous portion for us to share, and absolutely delicious. I was planning to order the burger, but when the waitress told us it was always on the menu, I opted for the blackened swordfish... and, boy, was I glad I did. My husband got the pork chop; I snagged a bite and it was amazing, too. Both entrees were also very generous portions, and my leftovers were just as good the next day (maybe even a little better once the flavors blended together). We finished with a brownie dessert, and when we finally got the check, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it was. Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time, and I can't wait to go back and get that burger!!

I called to make a reservation for a large party, which wound up dwindling to a small one, and Josh was great helping me with this. When I had to leave a voicemail he made sure to get a hold of me to confirm my reservation. When we arrived, we were impressed by the decor and seating options. Since our party was now small and we arrived in early afternoon, we were able to choose between a high top and comfy chairs. We opted for the big chairs, and had our own small table with mixed nuts, fresh water, and a candle. The service was great, attending but not overbearing. We never felt rushed, and very much enjoyed the Savory Riff and Espresso Martini. We were offered a taste of whiskey, gin, or vodka. If none of those appeal to you, your only alternative is to choose a pasta with a standard sugo (tomato sauce). There are also a couple of sandwich options, but those are limited as well. There's little to no flexibility--if it's not on the menu, they're not likely to accommodate substitutions or custom requests. That said, the two young men I encountered were both professional and not snarky at all in relaying the limitations. It was what it was. I went with rigatoni in sugo, topped with grated Parmesan. The pasta was excellent--perfectly al dente, and the sauce had great flavor and consistency. Authentic and well-prepared. That said, the downsides are hard to ignore. The portion was relatively small, and with a bottle of Italian soda, the total came to $22.58--closer to $30 with tip. There's also no complimentary bread. Focaccia is available for $5, but it didn't look particularly appealing (a bit dark and overly crisp), though I didn't try it.
