To put it simply, we do not come to Savannah without stopping by here. The place itself is pretty small, a casual vibe, with fun décor and incredibly inviting staff. We have always made the choice to sit outside on their wonderful patio as they have made a big effort to keep it cool and comfortable. The drinks are just what you crave on a hot Savannah day. I ordered the mojito this time but have tried most of their cocktails and have not had a single complaint. This says something about the standard for bartenders here. The food is also incredible. Everything is large in portion, especially my favorite Treylor Park nachos! Instead of your ordinary, boring nachos, these are made with waffle fries and joined by slivers of pickle, fried chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, chive ranch and a mouth watering balsamic gastrique. I have a very hard time branching out from getting these when I come and there is almost always more to take home. Next, I look forward to trying their Monte Carlo as I have heard great things about it. If you are in Savannah, you really can't go wrong with Treylor Park and should check it out! read more

Found street parking right at the front door. $3 for 1 1/2 hrs I believe. Little busy for lunch but we got seated right away. 2 adults 2 kids. We had Miyagi Tacos, Shrimp & Grit Tacos, and a kid's quesadilla. Plenty to eat for the 4 of us. Food came out very quickly. Service was good. Prices were typically for Savannah. Fun eatery located just before the Riverwalk area. The small but eclectic location offers a wide variety of classic favorites as well as a take on soon to be favorites! We arrived around noon on a Tuesday and were able to be seated fairly quickly although it did fill up once we were seated. This location is very quaint and seats probably no more than 60 to 65 people inside. There is a bar area where you can sit on stools and then they do have tables. If it is a large group that you have, this is probably not the location you would want to bring them to. The menu is eclectic with a little bit of everything for everyone. They also have a fairly extensive beer menu, including both on draft and bottle. We opted for a patty melt and the monte Carlo as our main entrées. I did try the blood orange cider out of Austin Texas, and found it to be very refreshing, almost like having a mimosa. The Monte Carlo sandwich was packed with both turkey and ham that was tender and juicy and the sweet breading with the powdered sugar Help to balance some of the saltiness of that ham. The waffle fries were cooked perfectly, and had great seasoning on them. The patty melt was OK. Their version of the patty melt is basically two hamburger patties put together, so it doesn't really melt in your mouth like a traditional patty melt does. read more

Treylor Park is always a "must go" when I'm in Savannah. They have a first come first serve outside seating area and an inside dining room so you've got some options. This time I was solo so I got there around 11 on a Saturday and sat at the bar. The bar tender was nice but was a bit bogged down so my initial drink was pretty delayed. I ordered a momosa which is fruit punch and champagne. It's a super refreshing drink. I recommend grabbing one to go after eating and taking it to the riverfront since it's within walking distance. Get the treylor park nachos when you go but be warned it's a sizable portion. They don't skimp on toppings so you'll have plenty of food. Superrrrrr cool place! The vibe is very cute/southern/chic. The food is PLENTIFUL. Every meal is huge. We got the nachos because a lot of people on Yelp were talking about them and they were highlighted on the menu. They were a success with the entire table. I was so torn between the chicken & pancake and the pot pie. I LOVE weird food, but I was very nervous this was going to be too much for me. The server didn't really sell me on it either, she just said it was interesting. But, where else was I going to get something this wild?? So I had to try it. WOWWWWW. I had the Miyagi tacos (made from beef ribeye), which came as a group of three. The flavors had the profile of Korean BBQ, with a sweet and savory profile. Absolutely LOVED this dish. The portion was not overwhelming, unlike the Double wide Hot Dog that my husband ordered, which probably could have fed a family of three! The vibes were kind of weird here. We sat down and were greeted by our server pretty quickly. We had some questions with the menu and sauces and she wasn't the most helpful. While we were eating dinner there was just a mass deportation happening on TV with people being detained and their heads being shaved and lead out of the country along with multiple news reports. Oh man. We went to Treylor Park because it came recommended to us. So, we went in really wanting to like the experience but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The establishment was fine, bar vibes, our server was beyond great, but unfortunately the food was just bad. The only thing that we really enjoyed were the Cheesesteak egg rolls, so I highly recommend if visiting. I will also say that the Shrimp & Grits tacos were solid if you like super spicy food. Such a cute place! We walked in and I loved the vibe immediately of this place based on the decor, welcoming staff and the music. We didn't make a reservation for lunch but they were able to accommodate us and helped us set up the table with two highchairs for our babies. We ordered the Treylor Park nachos I kept seeing on Yelp and omg it was so good. Crispy waffles fries, bacon, fried chicken pieces, cheese and balsamic/ranch glaze. Yummy! They have a lot of indoor seating, and there is also an outdoor patio and bar in the back. There wasn't a ton on the menu for vegetarian options. Treylor Park was exactly as it sounded. It was good and hearty food with a side of soul and while the food won't necessarily make you feel good in the morning, we definitely left there fulfilled. However, we wound up sitting outdoors because the AC in the dining room was a tad too cold for comfort. The service was prompt, but not overbearing. Encouraging us to try their favorites, but not trying to control our experience which I appreciated. Of course we wound up ordering too much, but such is life. The thing that caught our eye right away were the PB&J Chicken wings. It was decedent yet delicious. Sweet and savory with subtle layers of flavor. It turned out to be a very delicate dish as the wings were perfectly cooked, but not overly sweet with the peanut butter dressing. In fact, I would say that the jelly sauce really added to the sweetness of the dish instead of our expectation, which was going to overwhelm it. Hands down our favorite dish. We also ordered the shrimp and grits tacos. Had really good flavor, but the texture felt off. Where there was an expectation of crunch, there was not. Rather it depended on the shrimp to offer the textural difference and that didn't work for us. The popcorn shrimp was a nice play on words and texture. The shrimp on this dish was really flavorful and had a nice crunchy texture, but after the novelty of the popcorn, it felt like shrimp on top of popcorn rather than an expectation of using popcorn as a way of coating the shrimp. It was still delicious. The biscuits and gravy with an egg over easy was very heavy. The biscuit was a little proportionally thicker than I would have preferred, but flavor wise the dish was good. However, it was just a bridge too far when it came to ordering. We probably could have gone without this last dish. I felt like as a stand alone dish, it would have been a hearty meal by itself. Overall, I really loved the concept and the vibe of Treylor Park. I understand they have several other outposts, but this location was definitely worth the visit. read more

The strawberry salsa has peppers to give it the slightest kick to offset the sweetness of the berries. Put it all together with fried chicken and you have a scrumptious, inventive meal.
