Lunch at Treylor Park was great! My mom, sister, and I got 2 dishes to share, which was perfect for us, since the portions were very generous. Treylor Park was recommended to me by my hotel around the corner. I wish I could give this a 3.5, since that's where it would be. But instead I will round up for them. And I will tell you why. This place is right in the heart of where the most tourists are, close to the water. The vibe is that of what you expect when on vacation--American food to feed the masses. The service was excellent. But the food was still good. It wasn't fine dining, by any means, but it was executed mostly well. I tried the fried avocado as an appetizer, and it was fried well, and the portion was huge. It was served with a mayo-based sauce called a chili aioli, which was nice with it, topped with pico. Then I had the Grilled apple pie sandwich, which was a fried chicken sandwich with cooked apple slices, cheese, between toasted slices, served with an apple sauce. It was very unique, and cooked well. The waffle fries were not crispy and somewhat cold, not a deal-breaker for me. But, ultimately, it was still a place that I would go back for something quick and good, but not expect it to be my standard for quality for Savannah. If you manage your expectations on this one, you will have a great experience and get some good food. read more

First stop in Savannah was Treylor Park. It was relatively late night so our options were limited. We heard about the fried Oreos from Treylor Park we HAD to try so here we were. We needed to eat outside since I had a dog. We made sure the back patio was dog friendly - and while it was, it was also a hotbed for mosquitos - I can't even count how many mosquito bites I got sitting there for 1-2 hours. Slow service - the poor bartender appeared to be the only server working the outdoor bar on the back patio. At one point he was so overwhelmed he had to step away and he ended up leaving for a good 15+ minutes. We made sure to let one of the servers who solely brought food out from the kitchen that he was unfortunately set up for failure with no support before someone finally came out to help. All the food we ordered was very average - tbh the best thing was the fried Oreos... which I guess was what my friend had promised were amazing at Treylor Park. The Patty Melt also hit the spot because I was starving - a little greasy for me, but I can only expect a good patty melt to be greasy. Overall, I may stumble in again one night after a few drinks... but sans dog for sure. Not risking sitting on the outdoor patio again without heavy layers of bug spray... read more

There was a wait for tables inside but it was first come first serve on the patio outside. I tried the fried banana pepper rings and the caprese sandwich. The friend banana pepper rings were good and served with a ranch dipping sauce. The caprese sandwich was tasty about what you would expect for this staple sandwich. The caprese was served with a balsamic sauce but they have mayonnaise available upon request which I preferred. Service was just okay. Parking is not free in this area but there is a parking deck located close by where you can pay to park. read more

Though crowded during the St. Patty's weekend we decided to give the spot a try based on a friend's (a local) recommendation. It was worth the wait !!! My brother said the seafood flat bread was the best thing he's ever put in his mouth. The service was timely and friendly. This is a must try!!! Visiting Savannah and this was the restaurant we could find after searching at 10:00 on Sunday that was still open. In fact open until 1! Delicious and unique food on the menu. Per our server Morgan's recommendation we tried the nachos. Great and we could have split them with two other people, it's a lot! The avocado fries and cheesesteak egg rolls were great too. Service is not bad, there wasn't really much customer when I went but they started trickling around 5pm Ambiance is great too, music is not too loud where you can't hear your own conversations. My daughter and I had an overnight in Savannah. We made plans to eat here before we got to town. We had a short wait for a table . Usually places this size are extremely loud with the music , tv and customers. And thank goodness it wasn't. The decor was nice but not as trailer parkish as I thought it would be. My daughter decided on the treylor park smash burger. The double patty burger was ozzing with cheese. The burger came with waffle fries. Both were piping hot. I did take a scoop of the melted cheese off the side and it was delicious. I had the chupacabra with the chipotle creme on the side. I am so happy I had it on the side because it had a nice kick to it. The chimichanga style burrito was crispy and hot. The side of collards were tender and delicious. They were cooked with smoked turkey , like I make them at home. We definitely will revisit when we are in town. I have several items I would love to try next time . read more

We sat outside in the heated bar space and had fantastic service with the bartender covering the crowded bar and full tables. My recliner drink was refreshing and light, which was great with the very heavy but delicious nachos and egg rolls. We opted for the ranch on the side of the waffle fry nachos and didn't even use it. Surprisingly loved the bbq sauce on the waffle fries. The cheese added to the cheeseburger eggrolls added another layered flavor. Great experience! read more

It's a smaller place and they don't take reservations for groups under 8 people, so make sure you arrive early or have a plan to wait - but I promise the unique and delicious food options are worth it. We enjoyed the fried banana peppers and chicken biscuit, both of which were 10/10. This was a really good place to come for lunch. Seating was easy as it wasn't very busy at the time. Service was good. We shared that nacho grande. It was huge. Waffle fries with fried chicken along with other toppings made it a very mouth watering appetizer it was more than enough to feed a group of 4 guys. I had the shrimp and grits tacos. Shrimp was fresh and a little crispy. Fried grit bites was good but different because I'm not used to them being fried. Chimichurri made it very flavorful. Portion was more than enough. It's been 7 years since here last. Driving north from Naples, Fla with an overnight in Savannah. Had to come here for dinner and try some old and some new..but before I go on, our server WADE M. was the best. Very professional, personable, engaging and an all around nice guy. The perfect location after a 9 hour drive. We were greeted by the manager, Chase, running food. We sat in the patio area and were served efficiently. My friend and I shared the nachos and it was plentiful and delicious. Everything on the menu sounded delicious so choosing one thing was definitely a challenge. I got the patty melt which was so yummy! The steak sandwich is also a very good option. They also offer a wide range of beers that are very cheap (around $3 per beer). I believe this restaurant has several locations and I am not sure if it is the same menu for all of them. read more

My wife saw this place as we were planning a trip to Savannah. We spent 3 days there and this was by far the worst meal. The videos hyped the nacho's, waffle fries with toppings. They were average at best, I wouldn't go back for them. I had the low country pizza. Took 3 bites and pushed it way, may have been the worst thing I've ever eaten. Not much flavor and like some some sort of soup on top. Maybe we ordered the working thing. Gross. I ordered a martini, I watched the bartender just basically pour vodka into a glass, no vermouth and not even chilled. Headed back to Savannah and this will not be on things to do list. It was a Monday at lunch so it wasn't too busy and there were plenty of places to park within walking distance. Service was awesome!! We ordered the avocado fries as an app and holy crap, it was like 4 whole avocados cut into quarters. The breading had like a citrus and spice like tajin'ish, they needed nothing! I ordered the fish and chips and it tasted like the fish had been air fried. The breading was so fluffy and crisp and left no oil behind. The fish.. wow! I didn't even think to ask what's the seasonal fish was but it was soft and buttery and just perfection. My wife ordered the treylor park nachos, way too much for one person but she did her best. This was on my bookmarks of places to go as it was listed as the number one restaurant to visit and featured on the Netflix show: Fresh, Fried, and Crispy. I had my eyes set on that Pot Pie Burrito. Upon arriving, we put ourselves on the waitlist and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. After getting to the riverfront, we were notified that our table was ready, which was 15 minutes after we left, so don't be intimidated by the wait time. The pot pie burrito I was referring to is the Treylor Park Pot Pie ($18), which consisted of peas, carrots, corn, celery, onions, potatoes, cheddar cheese, chicken, and a creamy herb sauce. Every ingredient in a typical pot pie. But take all of that and wrap it in a flour tortilla and deep-fried it to a crisp. Doesn't that image sound amazing? Because it actually is amazing! I also had the Shrimp & Grits Tacos ($16), which is crispy shrimp, fried grit bites, chili aioli, lettuce & chimichurri, and red bell peppers. I was also a fan of this. I also got to get a bite of the Caprese Sandwich ($12), consisting of fresh mozzarella, thick-sliced tomatoes, basil, and pesto served on brioche with a side of balsamic vinaigrette. I wasn't a fan of it as the pesto was overpowering. Maybe paying extra to add the chicken would have done the trick. read more

I would see this place ideal for a big group but this is good for a small dinning with friends. The vibes are very trendy and original. We went to Treylor Park about 8 years ago during our first trip to Savannah, and I have continued to say that the fish tacos were the best I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure if things have changed since then or if I've just overhyped them in my head, but they were disappointing this time. There was so my slaw and sauce that it overpowered the whole dish. Nothing tasted bad; it just wasn't what I wanted or remembered. My husband liked the beef tacos even less. The cheesesteak egg rolls were excellent though. The kids pizza was thin, cheesy, and underwhelming. The music was pretty loud even when the restaurant wasn't busy, and the chairs weren't the most comfortable to sit in.
