I needed paint for a unique project that required matching a very difficult red/black matte color. Chris worked hard to mix and match paints until he was able to get an almost perfect match (hard to do since the original paint was a 3 step process). I purchased the paint and clearcoat and got very helpful hints from pros in the shop about how to best handle my project. The best part is - the project went well and the paint was a perfect match. Giving Tri Start 5 stars is an understatement. The products are great, the service is even greater. I went there for the first time a couple days ago. The owner, Paul, greeted me and treated me as though I've been a customer for ages. He and Bob helped me with all my needs and addressed all my questions. Tri Star Auto Care was recommended to me by my Girlfriend. And for Christmas she bought me a Fantastic Rupes BigFoot LHR 15ES Orbital polisher which was recommended to her. I must admit I didn't know much about any of these about these products that' were given to me, but I must say I am very Pleased with the whole Finish Line product line I have used glass cleaner, interior cleaner, degreaser and their carpet cleaning products. Not only do they work very well, but they smell incredible. I have never used Rupes products before, I have to say I am very impressed how good they worked I used the Rupes un1 protect one step polisher with D-A fine compound they worked great! I used them on my car ( pictured) I also did some paint correction on my buddies Black Honda it tons of swirl marks but now it looks better than it did when he purchased it. . Been coming here for years for my mobile detailing buisness this place is amazing . Not just that ,I have a Rupes polisher that had to be fixed . I gave them my polisher and had it for almost two weeks because the guy who fixes them wasn't there . After two weeks they called me that they have ti ship the polisher to Rupes because they aren't able to fix the polisher . And not going to lie at first I was a little bothered that it took two weeks for that to be told and now that it's gonna be shipped ima be almost two months without my polisher that I payed close to $500 for . But they were nice to tell me that would give me a replacement polisher for the moment while mine gets fixed and that's something that I truly respect from them for understanding that I payed close to $500 for my polisher and now would probably have to buy another polisher just to use for two months while mine gets fixed . Due to the lower prices for items on the internet in comparison to brick and mortar retail stores, I've been an order it online/Amazon Prime type of guy for the past 10-12 years. That statement still remains the same for the most part except for car detailing supplies, and it's all because of Tri Star. From the contact I've had with the owner down to the newest employee this place has consistently kept me coming back. They always treated me very well and even when it's 5:05pm and 5 minutes past their close time and I'm grabbing my last couple items they never rushed me, and any questions I've had were always answered to the best of their ability and if that specific person didn't have the answer they'd bring me to someone who did. The last time I was there I realized in the parking lot when looking at my receipt that I was accidentally double charged for an $8 item when I had only purchased 1. I went back inside and the owner asked how much the item was. I told him it was around $8. He responded by saying here's a $10 and sorry for that mistake. Before grabbing the $10 bill from him he asked how long I had been detailing, and I told him I just started and that I really enjoy it and that I must really liked his shop cause I keep making excuses to come back. After that he said here's a $20, make sure you use it to take your girlfriend out to dinner. I asked him if he was sure, before thanking him and shaking his hand. Other local small businesses need to pay this man and take notes on how to properly run a successful small business. 5 Star experience each and every time read more

Unreal. Went on vacation and came home to my car having been blasted by an airport sprinkler while I was gone. Called around and almost ended up paying 300 bucks to get my paint restored. I decided to at least try and do it myself before paying that much. Stoked with the results. My car looks better than it ever has in years. Spent 40 bucks on product and did it all by hand. Until discovering Tri Star I always bought what I believe to be one size fits all car care products from auto parts stores or Walmart. On my first trip, I spoke with Keith, whom I believe to be the owner. Despite multiple other customers in the shop, he took the time to show me various techniques (i.g clay bar usage) and described the other products that I should use. I never felt as though he was trying to up sell me in products that I did not need. Keith even wrote his personal cell number in the back of his business card should I have any questions. I've been back several times since and got the same treatment each time. I strongly recommend Tri Star for any detailing supplies or questions. This business is simply outstanding!!! read more
