I think the food is best at medicore. Nothing to bring home about. Typical diner american food. You better off going to other spots close bynto get real snd good tasting food. Ordered a burger..instead of burger buns is white bread...ordered a philly cheese steak..instead of a hero..its burger bun. They should let the customer know so they can choose something else. Also waitress tell me I can sit anywhere..I did. Then shebrell me to sit somewhere else. The middle section is reserved for a bigger crowd. Ok? Put upna reserved sign..maybe? Of corse no big group ever came in on a Sunday noon. I was beyond annoyed. I wont be back in a while. They know how to piss a loyal customer off.

Nov 23, 2025: Had breakfast with my friend and was surprised with their breakfast menu and service. Though it was a little pricey for a regular omelette , while my friend had a sausage and egg, no seasoning on home potatoes and just plain . The breakfast was ok. Given that diner is in a tourist area. This is a nice place in Chinatown to have breakfast and its service was friendly and diner was clean. As someone who goes to many restaurants in NY and to other parts of the city and travel , I consider myself a foodie and like to rate the food, hospitality, cleanliness, etc., to let others know when they visit The City That Never Sleeps.

This unassuming diner displays their fresh bakery goods in the window. We dropped just to grab a coffee but ended up eating a late breakfast. I had the California omelet which delivered fresh sliced and cooked to perfection potatoes and an omelette with real cheddar cheese, mushrooms and Avocado! My husband had the three eggs with bacon that provided 6 pieces! We had fresh squeezed orange juice! Breakfast also came with free cups of coffee. All for a great price point! Service was continuous with refreshing coffee as needed and fast! Really loved the potatoes!

I recently visited Tira Bakery Cafe and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a modern and clean decor that made me feel right at home. But the real star of the show was the food - I ordered the NYPD Burger and it was great. It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and was juicy and full of flavor. The toppings were generously portioned and expertly balanced. The fries were cooked to a perfect golden brown, with just the right amount of crunch. The coffee was delicious. It was clear that the owners and staff at Tira Bakery Cafe take pride in their business, from the food to the service. The woman at the front greeted me warmly and made sure I had everything I needed, while the waiter was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back and try more of their delicious food. Enjoy!

Great dinner with wheelchair access. I take Mom there and she likes the bakery. A favorite breakfast spot of mine. Also good burgers deluxe and sandwiches

Greek diner. This place used to be called Everest & was sold & is now call Tria. Renovated inside with new furniture so much more comfortable than before. Diner food about the same as before. They added cakes & pastries up front but I haven't tried them yet. They use to get a lot of cops & tourist eating here in the morning & I have every expectation they will be back.

We were in town for the NYC marathon and stayed in Chinatown! We were looking for somewhere quick to get food before watching our friend run so we stoped at Tria's! We all got coffee and the breakfast wrap to go! The wrap was very delicious! We watched them scoop out a fresh a avocado! The guy working the front even gave us a free cookie! It was a great experience and would recommend!

    Latte was amazing!

I was her on a Friday for lunch and I have to admit I was not too excited about having lunch here. However my friend and I were hungry and decided to take a look inside and after looking at that beautiful display of sweets I gave in. My friend order the Mexican burger which was perfectly cooked and I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was delicious and waffles were perfect! Crispy on outside and soft on the inside. My latte was served on a homestyle mug and delicious!! I've been to actual restaurants were they cany even make a latte right. If you can't do it then don't have it as an option and this place seems to nail everything on their menu. Service: when I walked in the place was not busy and we were quickly greeted and given a menu. I asked for restroom which are located in the lower level. As soon as you go downstairs you will see men's restroom and the door to the back kitchen/storage? was open and covering the door to ladies room. One of the guys working there quickly opened the door for me. I know it's sounds like a silly gesture but he had his own work to do there. He could have let me figured my way. Everyone here is ready to and happy to accommodate the customer. Will definitely go back when in the area!

Black Forest Cake slice! So good.

The last of its kind in Chinatown. Prices are on the high side but it is quality food. Staff is great and the food is always consistent.

I come here to get breakfast periodically. The breakfast is good but the portions are fairly small, other than that I have no complaints.

Our wait was at least an hour and a half and were texted when our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom for all to use. I got a "pick me up" and it was perfect gave me a beautiful caffeine kick to start the day I recommend for sure. Weather you come for the viral moment this feels like a solid staple in the community with bright music playing everyone kind of everywhere and just a relaxed feel that you can't wait to enjoy after you get seated. After running a couple of errands while waiting for the table to be ready, we were seated outside at the patio after an hour and 45 minutes. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. I would return to Friedman's when I'm in the Herald Square area, or check out one of their other locations in the city.

Fast forward to 2026 (where I'm finally not broke as hell), the day has finally come, and I am ecstatic about stepping foot into this diner that surprisingly is still standing in 2026. The inside certainly feels like a diner, but not quite the old-school dinginess that I'm used to--it's clean. Given that it was Sunday at noon, it was very crowded in there and mainly flooded with tourist groups, but a table opened up for us pretty quickly. For a NYC diner, the menu is certainly small - this is probably done to keep tables moving faster. I got the Pastrami Hash & Eggs and it was just overdone and super oily and dry--almost as if they just refried everything except the sunnyside egg. Not gonna lie, I was very disappointed, given that I had waited for so long to come here, only to get food that was an attempt to give the staleness another chance by refrying and reheating. I actually beat myself up a little the rest of the day for finishing the whole thing, knowing that the oversaltiness was flirting with opening up some high blood pressure. It was also not moderately priced by any means (was close to $30), but I know I'm helping pay for that Midtown and proximity to Central Park pricing. Not sure if I'll return, which saddens me, but also knowing that they're part of a conglomerate at Fireman Group (and still run independently in a sense) makes total sense
