Standard greasy spoon diner. Sticks out like a sore thumb in the midst of trendy SoHo/Nolita. The TikTok crowd doesn't seem to have ruined this place yet and I'm thankful for that. Nothing fancy in the slightest. The restaurant could use a facelift. It's narrow but has a decent amount of tables. Service was friendly and warm. Prices are not bad considering it's New York, but don't expect a bargain either (they still gotta pay the rent). Didn't use a restroom and wasn't sure if they had one. I didn't see any but surely they must? They take credit cards but will add a credit card fee if you choose to pay that way. Pancakes were heavenly. Egg and cheese on a roll was standard and hit the spot. Come here for quick and easy diner food without the pretentiousness of the surrounding area.

I love me an old school greasy spoon diner. Friendly service, tasty basic diner food, reasonable prices. Dropped in for lunch as I was in the area. My meal was served up quick and hot. Nothing super special but solid if you're looking to fill your belly. No frills kind of joint and a bit worn which is fine with me. I'm not that fancy.

Landmark Cafe is one of the few remaining film locations from the 80s movie "Desperately Seeking Susan." This cafe is where Roberta played by Rosanna Arquette and Dez (Aidan Quinn) were asked to leave after the waitress mistook Roberta for Susan (Madonna) While the cafe holds significant historical value, it shows signs of age and wear. The cafe could really use some fresh paint, and a little updating. They offer inexpensive breakfast options, and I found the Asian server who assisted me to be exceptionally friendly. It seems she is the sole waitress on duty. The coffee was decent, and the food was typical diner fare. I ordered the Guyere Omelet with toasts, and potatoes. The prices were very reasonable, but do note that they only accept cash payments. Check out my Instagram @travelwithmichael for the video.

This is a whole in the wall... maybe 8-10 tables. Short order cook and a waitress name Fatima. Not fancy. No frills. Just New York. Great breakfast menu. I ordered the waffle special that came with a coffee. Affordable and delicious. Ask for a refill for your coffee and you might get a NO with a smile...I loved it!!!!

Typical old style sloppy diner and we loved it! BEC was awesome and my wife's egg platter on point! This is what NY diners were back in the day !

This place was just ok. It served the purpose of having American food with simple choices in soho for a great price. My daughters are picky so chicken fingers and a burger .... The food was just ok. Not a lot of seating but we got one. My daughter asked for the bathroom we were told it was in the basement uhhhh no we will wait. The lady working the floor was on 100 she did everything and moved face I was tired watching her. Bottled drinks .... No alcohol... from the looks of everyone's table they like breakfast here.... I watched her pout their cups of water out of a jug .... Everything was so confusing ..... best thing was the bill.

Landmark Cafe is a throwback to an earlier New York. We stayed across the street for a week, using Landmark as our go-to or quick satisfaction. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a retro dining experience and many things that are right. The absolute best thing is this weakness and attentiveness shown in everybody by the staff! Lots of locals, lots of complicated turns and twists of customizations to order, and nothing but smiles and speed from the other side of the counter. Everything that I had put the spot, and you could tell from the smiles of the workers the landmark cafe repeatedly satisfied and served as a welcoming beacon during a hectic time and in busy days. If you want to sample your parents or grandparents experience of New York City, then this is the place to come for a filling breakfast and lots of smiles.

Underrated spot! Busy, efficient energy. Server who runs the place is magic and warm. Food came out quick. Cash only. Come early morning for some breakfast specials - we'll be back!!

It's classic coffee shop. It's all type of classic breakfasts. There's only one server and she is so enthusiastic.

No frills diner type of spot near soho and Chinatown. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Prices are pretty good here for some American food. I got the grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes and my bf got the corned beef hash with two eggs. We also shared an order of mozzarella sticks. The coffee was pretty watered down and didn't have much coffee taste. There's only one waitress and she pretty much does everything. The grilled cheese was good, just your usual basic grilled cheese. The mozzarella sticks were goood. Had a nice cheese pull and a nice crust. Overall good spot if you want casual American food

Anyone who complains about the rude waitress is obviously a tourist better off at a Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory. She's the real deal working her ass off and doesn't have time for your bullshit. I love this place.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
