Triangle was the next stop on the Fresno burger tour. Ordered and paid on the website for pickup. I showed up a little after the appointed time and they were putting it together. The burger was amazing. It's char broiled and otherwise nothing fancy or complicated. Also tried a jumbo chili dog. I assumed it would come with cheese and onions, but maybe those are extras that I needed to add manually. The chili was delicious. The onion rings were also very good. They have a bread crumb type coating and they were cooked perfectly. The fries were average at best. They were pretty limp and devoid of seasoning. read more

To be honest I think the food here is decent but the service is exceptional. My kids absolutely love it here because the staff is so kind and friendly to them, going above and beyond to make them feel special. The atmosphere is classic and fun, always clean, and has that iconic retro feel. Went to lunch here last week and ordered a pastrami sandwich. Bread was stale and pastrami were tiny dry pieces of meat that looked and tasted like they scraped it off the bottom of the pan. Will never go there again. read more

Typically Triangle Burger is my go-to, I love their burgers, fries and ice cream. I do prefer the Barstow location though, but I was closer to the Clovis one so we stopped here. I was craving crinkle fries and a milkshake so I brought my son and he got a grilled cheese meal and I got an Oreo milkshake. Normally their milkshakes are amazing, however this time it was extremely too sweet. I'm assuming something was off with their ratios in the ice cream machine, but I ended up giving the whole thing to my kids to share (they don't mind it sweet apparently). I will stick to the Barstow location where this never happens. I do want to say that the employee at the front was really nice and friendly. This used to be my go to place for greasy nostalgia but no longer. To be fair I think the issue is partly just this location. The food has really become unremarkable and I think part of that is the staff. Their location by the zoo has always been better prepared. Unfortunately every time I come in to this location the food is less and less appealing. On this trip I got a very very dry and completely unseasoned paddy melt. We all love the diner vibe but when I got here there was no other customers and three people standing in the back, I was a little surprised that nobody was cleaning. There was food and straw wrappers on the floor and unwashed tables. I'm the last person to expect someone in the restaurant industry to seem excited about their job, but the customer service is very much lacking. If your restaurant is banking on a themed experience, you might want to take that into consideration when training and hiring people to run front of house. We came in to our usual best burgers place to eat only to be disappointed.. the new cashier they hired began by giving us attitude & negativity!!! She seemed offended when I didn't want to take the leftover change & "demanded" that I take the receipt for the "order number"... The number that they use to always just tell me. I can't believe they have someone like this being in the front with the public.... We noticed that she's nice & sweet to all of the males that came in, but the females..... ummm no she isn't... My wife and I were looking for something different than our usual and gave this a try. It's where BJ's Country Kitchen was for decades. They have a cool 50's interior. We ordered the pastrami sandwich, western burger and onion rings. The pastrami was very good, thinly cut and crisp. The western burger was even better as were the onion rings. Good food. I grew up with the original Triangle. These are owned by the same family and they are keeping tradition alive. Sooo good! We had burger combos and the Mr. Ate EVERYTHING! Ist he has fried left or burger... not only did he eat it all, he finished before me! The place looked spotless, the staff were very friendly and they practice good hand washing. I don't know what happened but it seems that you downsized your jumbo burgers. They used to be actually "jumbo". I went today and got a Jumbo bacon cheeseburger combo. It seemed to be much smaller than what I got a year or two ago. I know prices have gone up but this was a wimpy burger for the price! I also upsized the fries in the combo and they were all pretty much just bits and short pieces of fries. For $12.99 plus a .99 upgrade for the fries it was not a good deal. I think you can to better. This was at your Clovis location. There are many burgers drive inns near you that even though prices have gone up they haven't downsized their items. read more

We have had excellent experiences at other Triangle Drive In locations, but our experience tonight was the absolute worst in the customer service category. Online ordering is a joke - insufficient food descriptions which do not support friendly ordering. Staff are inconsiderate and will leave you on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up because they are "too busy" with the one customer dining in. Manager only gave excuses for staff poor performance and brushed off the conversation of a bad customer experience. Not pandemic friendly, despite giving the option for curbside pickup on the website. Overpriced and not worth the overall terrible experience. We will not return to this location. read more

The Banana Milkshake is my favorite . They have a Varied Menu , so there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy. I have been to this location twice now, during lunch time with co-workers, and I really enjoy it! The food is fresh and delicious. I've had the burgers, fries, chili dogs, chili fries, shakes and I've tasted some of the various appetizers. Yum! I think my favorite are the burgers though. The service is fast! The place is decorated nicely, and kept very clean. Only downside, and I didn't take away any stars because of the recovery! **Do not use the mobile/online ordering! My co-workers tried it, and I guess the staff did not pay attention to the orders coming in, and they had to put them on when we arrived to pick up the food. With that said, They were SUPER quick about getting the food out!!! What could have be a disaster, and a long wait for us, ended up being just fine. (Although, I did note that in order to punch in all of the online orders, he made a lady who came in right after us wait about 3-4 minutes to place her order-which could have been bad for her.) I called in my order this day due to a weird thing on the online ordering that I could not place an order for two of the same item, any way, my order was ready for pick up when we arrived. **So Triangle, as much as I appreciate you keeping up with the times, with online ordering, I think it has some kinks that need working out, so I would take it down while those are fixed. I stopped by the Triangle on First and Barstow, it was right at closing time. The gentleman said they we're closed, however the young lady saw how disappointed I was and was able to make me a really good shake, when she recognized me as a regular customer. I was so impressed with her kindness, I have gone in everyday for lunch, with a friend that is now going on her own. Please save y'all life's and don't go here! They are absolutely disgusting, I saw the cashier went to the bathroom to change the trash and came back out with the same gloves and packed my food! I've worked in restaurants for 10 years and never saw something like that in LA. On top of that the owner said "she changed her gloves" when I saw her coming out with same gloves and same color.
