Unmatched care and results over 15 years. I don't believe there is a kinder, more knowledgeable dermatologist than Dr. Geyer--he has an artist's eye, and if someone better exists, I haven't met them. Somehow, he has kept my skin almost the same for nearly 15 years. I look around the waiting room and see patients who also clearly trust this practice for thoughtful care and real results. I started with Clear + Brilliant and over time progressed to other options, including Sofwave, which gave truly spectacular results for my skin. I loved the results. Dr. Geyer is the first dermatologist in a list of many who was not only able to diagnose my issue but also prescribe medication that helped alleviate the issue. He listened to everything I said and understood the discomfort this was causing. I have always found the staff helpful and accommodating. I do have to single out Carmen. She has held my hand through all the red tape of switching insurance companies and pharmacies multiple times, and Everytime they said 'No' to me or gave me nonsensical answers on the phone, Carmen had it straightened out immediately. I have been a patient of Dr Tan's for a few years. I recently saw Dr Geyer while Dr Tan was out of office. While I really like both these doctors, I have felt rushed during appointments. I chalk this up to the practice's scheduling practices as I don't think this is the doctors' fault. Dr Geyer and Dr Tan take their patients seriously, welcome questions, and have a wonderful demeanor. Their nursing staff are similarly kind and professional I'm writing this review because of their receptionist, Rose. I've spoken with her over the phone and via email and both times she was curt and dismissive. Over the phone she cut me off a few times. I recently requested to switch pharmacies from one that no longer takes my insurance to a new one. I'm out $290 because Rose did not follow through with my request to switch over my medications. Their other receptionist (whose name I'm afraid I don't know) is fantastic. He has gone above and beyond for me, is always courteous and friendly, and is an absolute delight to speak with whenever I have visited the office or spoken with him via phone or email. I cannot say enough nice things about him, hence how shocked I was over his colleague's service. Unfortunately, as patients, our experience of a doctor is primarily an experience of how the practice is run. While I've had wonderful experiences with Tripark Derm for a few years, I've found dealing with Rose so off-putting I'm hesitant to go back. read more

I can find just about any practitioner who would be willing to sell me Botox, fillers, you name it. Heck, the guy at the corner bodega would sell it to me if he could make a quick buck. Dr. Geyer and his practice was recommended to me by a male who had been a patient for 10+ years. I visit Tribeca Park Dermatology for my annual skin screens and to address any medical skin concerns. Dr. Adam Geyer is a wonderful dermatologist who is honest, thorough, and ethical. He does not take advantage of the fact that I can sometimes fall under societal pressure in wanting to look beautiful. After my last skin check, I asked Dr. Geyer if he recommended preventative botox and/or a small brow lift. He did not recommend it, which I appreciate because I trust his judgement. Dr. Geyer went to Harvard/John Hopkins Med School, and did his residency at Columbia University + MA General Hospital, some of the top medical and academic institutions in the country. He is above recommending Botox to a 25 year old. I've seen so many practitioners who would easily recommend cosmetic procedures to me, but fortunately I have not listened to them. I only trust Dr. Geyer with my skin. I am hoping he continues to practice until I am in my forties and actually get wrinkles. read more

This review concerns the issue of office staff, not doctors. I was trying to follow up with a treatment I had with one of the doctors (a good doctor, I should say), and I had the misfortune of dealing with Rose, who was answering the phone. To say that she was rude was an understatement. She was so argumentative and combative that finally I gave up trying to make the appointment and had to call my doctor's cell phone. There's not any clear way to make a complaint or find anyone who is in charge of the office on their website, so I made this review in the hopes that someone managing the office will read it and address the situation. Patients should not have to put up with the stress of dealing with such unhelpful staff. It is a shame for the doctors, too, who rely on the staff to treat patients with respect and be helpful when they call. read more

This review may seem a little funny, as I'm mainly giving them 5 stars for their phenomenal CMA Carmen. My dermatologist is... fine. I've actually heard recently that he's leaving the practice for greener pastures. He did, fwiw, put me on to a new biologic that has been great for my psoriasis. But navigating the insurance, pre-approvals, manufacturer payment assist programs, etc. can be a nightmare. Enter Carmen! She is a magician at getting all the logistics ironed out. She keeps track of when various things expire, and proactively emails or calls me to keep ahead of it. She cuts through the red tape of modern American healthcare with humble grace. I literally offered to hire her away from TPD, even though I work in an entirely different industry. You just don't meet that many people like Carmen. read more

Please save your time and money and go get seen somewhere else. I've been here twice and both times the experience has been awful. Went a few years back and was treated like this was a fast food joint. Went again (give people a chance right?) at the beginning of 2021 and all I got was a huge rash on my body. Literally went to another dermatologist and took care of my very simple issue in ONE VISIT. I literally never leave reviews because why spread negativity but honestly I would hate to think more people are going to this place thinking "it's the best" even if it's pricey. This has been one of the most frustrating doctor experiences I have had to deal with regarding billing. This office has been nothing but difficult and rude. I gave my insurance information before making the appointment in May 2018, then again at the office and again in September, 3 months after the appointment. I was told by the front desk that everything was all good. I was forwarded a letter from my previous address stating on December 27th it was their last attempt to collect a debt. After speaking with the billing agency, the front desk again at Tribeca Park Dermatology and then Angela on the phone I was continuously led in circles. They have been unprofessional, and rude to patients. I will not be returning and based on the other reviews surrounding billing issues this is a recurring them at Tribeca Park Dermatology. read more

This is one of the nicest doctors offices I have ever been to. No, wait, it IS the nicest. Even from the outside, this office is absolutely stunning. Once inside, you are greeted by the receptionist (who I did feel bad for since she was all alone and there were tons of people here for appointments and the phone was ringing off the hook). You can also print the forms online and have them filled out and ready to go by the time your appointment rolls around. This speeds up the process a bit. The office is clean, well-lit, and has tons of seating. The exam rooms are also very, very nice. Dr. Chaudhari was excellent and answered the questions I had. I pride myself on having clear skin so sometimes I like to stop by and get a little maintenance done. Her assistant was also very friendly. This is a great dermatologist office. Their website has all the info you need prior to booking (including insurance information) and they have decent hours (M-F 8:30 to 5:45). Echoing others here-- The dermatologists themselves are excellent, but the reception/scheduling staff here is awful. Every time I've called to schedule an appointment, they make me feel so stupid. I booked an appt with Dr Tan via ZocDoc, and have nothing but great things to say about the practice. Very upscale, clean, and modern. Dr. Tan was efficient and direct, yet welcoming and warm. My wife and I both went together. A skin checkup for me and skin treatments for both of us. From start to finish for both of us it was a lovely experience. Everyone we dealt with, from first checking in to the doctor assistants to Dr. O'Brien herself were professional, helpful and full of positive energy. I went to Dr. Glodny two years ago for a skin exam and he said that he didn't know what a large spot on my back was, but gave me a prescription for a cream and told me to return if the spot didn't go away. I did return and he said it was nothing to be concerned about, and I didn't need a biopsy. The spot never went away and after a few months I went to another dermatologist who biopsied the area. It was stage 1 melanoma. In addition, even though my insurance is very good and an annual skin exam is supposed to be included in the coverage, my two bills exceeded $200. read more

I am only reviewing a specific part of dermatology. Nothing related to cosmetic. I had a very stubborn little wart on my arm which i lived with for around 7 years now. Been to many dermatologists during this time (see my review for Dr.Alan Greenspan) and everyone had the same single treatment... freeze it and then apply Alderra... which did not work. it pains for a few days and then grows back up. I went to Dr.Adam Geyer, and the moment he saw it, he said freezing won't help this kind of wart and it needs a little more intense treatment. He sat me down, and gave me 5 different options, telling me pros and cons of each and the risk level of each and his recommendation at the end. Also how these are caused (could be genetic).That was the most time a doctor ever spent with me trying to make me understand the medical part of the treatment. and I was able to pick an option based on that. Of course, if you don't understand all that you could just say 'what ever you think is best doc!'. I don't care if my doctor can talk pleasingly or talk to me about how i feel (unless he is a psychiatrist, not that i have been to one ) as long as he has the knowledge, and he makes sure the patient is aware of the situation and the treatment. That's all that matters to me. Dr.Geyer and the clinic are very easy to deal with. And YES! it was gone .... whoosh.. vanished in exactly 7 weeks with no trace of it ever being there.... and for that, I Love Dr.Geyer! You have no idea the kind of joy it bring me to get rid of it after 7 years. He also told me that the medicine he gave acts as a vaccine..so, i won't get any new ones. read more

So, I came on time. Had to wait 30 -45 minutes to actually see my doctor, whom I saw for 5 to 10 minutes. She didn't have much time to answer questions, but she was very efficient and told me exactly what I had to do. My experience with Dr. Geyer himself was nice enough. He was polite and knowledgable. However, my trouble started when he told me that his office didn't stock the medicine necessary to treat my condition. He sent me to a local pharmacy to get the medicine and then return to his office to get it administered. He said he'd have the office manager call ahead so I wouldn't have to wait. When I arrived at the pharmacy, no one had heard from Dr. Geyers office. When I called to check up on it, I was immediately put on hold for 10 minutes. After that, 3 different staff members would pick up, ask for my name and prescription and I'd have to start over. Finally, I found out the pharmacy didn't even stock the medicine I was sent for. I was told to return to the office for further instruction. When I got there, they gave me the name of another pharmacy that I'd need to get on the subway to get to. I arrived at that pharmacy, and found out that because the medicine was picked up at the pharmacy and not in stock at the doctors office, that my insurance would not cover the cost. Since the treatment was expensive, I walked away and made an appointment with another doctor who had the item in stock and that was covered by insurance. read more

They don't accept ANY plans from the healthcare marketplace/exchange. If you have a "real" plan, they are the best dermatologist experience I've had in NY (ok, anywhere). In the area, most derms have a cosmetic-based business in addition to the medical side, and this place is no exception, so I expected the same lax 5 minute hasty visits they all do. But what I got was a doctor who listened to everything I said, explained everything she did, was respectful, pleasant and knowledgable and very skilled. She was a doctor and not a lotion/laser salesman. Super rare these days. I'm going to be really upset when I have to switch to a marketplace plan and have to go back to the rat race dermatologists' conveyor-belt practices. Minus two stars for leaving us out. read more

I visited this office about 5 or 6 times for a possible skin allergy and met with Dr. Dolder. The biggest conclusion i came to after all of these visits is that i should have gone into dermatology, it must be the easiest profession in the world. This doctor is totally phoning it in. First, I needed an early appointment so i scheduled all my visits for 8am because i can't take time out of the work day. I arrive 5min early and after waiting for a while, at around 8:15 i see Dr. Dolder roll into the office. Yep, she was 15 min late for her first appointment. They also double book appointments; one day there was another guy waiting for an 8am appointment for Dr. Dolder as well. She must be super woman to be able to see two patients at once. Like I said i came in for some irritants or allergies on my skin and specifically my lips have been horribly chapped, my lips were my biggest concern and i told this to Dr. Dolder. She prescribed an enormous amount of washes and creams. She never told me what they would do, i was just suppose to use them. At the end of that first visit the office gave me a TON of free samples. However, after some inspection i realized i had no idea what any of these samples did or how to use them. No one told me and it wasn't written on the package. I was afraid of using something incorrectly and threw them all out. I then went to get my prescriptions filled and found out that she has prescribed the name brand of every drug and the cost would be in the hundreds of dollars. My pharmacist was an angel and recommended the generic version and called Dr. Dolder to have her switch the prescription. One prescription was so expensive and there wasn't any generic for it so i just didn't get it filled. I figured i would ask Dr. Dolder about it at my next visit. At my next visit Dr. Dolder never asked about the prescriptions and was so fast at coming in and out of the room i never got a chance to ask. I was there for something called Patch Testing. I was told at my last visit that Patch Testing is where they put a few patches on your back to see if your allergic to something. By "a few" i thought they meant something like 4 and it would be no big deal. I found out later that "a few" means something like 48 patches and my ENTIRE back was taped up. Shoulder to shoulder, all the way down my back. It was AWFUL. I wasn't told really what to do other than to not get it wet. Not until later did i learn that itching and scratching the patches was bad and could effect my results. I'm also claustrophobic and something about being taped up like a mummy would periodically send me into something like a mild panic attack. I went back and had the patches removed. I had to go back one last time to see any delayed effects of the patch testing. At the last visit i hadn't developed any new allergies to the patches and then i asked her what any of this testing had to do with my extremely chapped lips. She had no idea what i was talking about, she had forgotten why i had come in in the first place. After all of this i was still using the prescriptions and they were making my skin way worse. Dr. Dolder never followed up on them and i found when i stopped using all the prescriptions my skin cleared right up. I use to think it was rude to say to the doctor "well, i was researching online and..." because i hate when my clients do that to me. However, i think doctors like Dr. Dolder deserve to be spoken to in a very rude way by her patients. She doesn't take the time to listen or care. She could easily be replaced by Web MD and Google. read more

Dr. Geyer is great. He has a sense of humor, he's efficient, and - quite frankly - he's really cute. Regardless, when I had a little thing on my nose I needed to have looked at, he was clear, concise, and direct about what it probably was and what we needed to do about it. I trusted him completely. He called me back when he said he would about biopsy results. And he made a great referral. For some reason, I think he has lots of people who overreact to potential issues and/or test results, because he tried to reassure me - a lot - when I didn't really need it. But other than that, it was a pleasure to deal with him - and with the staff in his office, who also have a sense of humor! read more

The office was cold but beautiful. i don't know much about the cosmetic part of this business as i went to address a potential skin issue related to sun exposure. Dr. Meghan is excellent, very professional and can help you to find a good treatment solution with different price ranges. But, unfortunately, aside from the Dr. and the beautiful space that Tribeca Park has, I had a very bad experience with the Tribeca Park staff today. Both nurse and the two receptionists were rude and had a snobby attitude. One of the receptionists even told me to not ask any more questions while I was trying to alleviate the pain from my very recent procedure, while I was asking some follow up questions I had from my conversation with the Dr during the consultation. It's a shame that we get very excited to do this kind of procedures, invest large amount of money, and in the end, leave feeling sad and humiliated. read more

Saw Dr. Glodny. -He spoke more than listened. A characteristic I tend to avoid when choosing specialists. I like them less dismissive and more open to the possibilities. -He was quick. I'm not saying that he wasn't thorough.. But for all I know--I don't know. I'm not a dermatologist. -He changed his mind after consultation. I went to the receptionist to pick up my two prescriptions and was told that he changed his mind and only received one. The prescription didn't work anyway. And the condition he appeared so confident I had--(even when I disagreed with the diagnosis)--turned out to be wrong as well. Moral of the story: Always trust your gut. Always get second opinions. I had under eye fillers done for the first time with Dr. Glodny. I was super apprehensive going in but could not be more thrilled with my result and the entire experience. During our consultation, Dr. Glodny assured me that I was a good candidate for the fillers and that we'd take a very minimal approach as looking natural was most important to me. He was such a pleasure to work with and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. We used majority of the fillers and then scheduled a follow up for 2 weeks later to see if we wanted to use the rest. I see a tremendous difference and yet no one would know I got them. Since getting them, I've had so many people say I look glowing and well rested! The office and everyone who work there are so kind, professional and supportive. I also felt that the price was very reasonable. I will be going back for any future needs and referring him to all friends and family. read more

I've only had 1 consultation here for a suspicious mole and It was my first time at a dermatologist. As I also work in customer service I have a love/hate relation with yelp and don't often post, but this was the first time in a long time I've left a place feeling the need to review them. As many others have stated, the offices are beautiful, yes. That certainly does help, but also doesn't mean anything if the service sucks. But it didn't. From reception, to the PA, to Dr Geyer- everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and easy- which is great when you're a little nervous going in to begin with. Whatever my dermatology needs in the future I will continue to go way out of my way from the UES to go to Tribeca Park Dermatology. read more

I saw Dr. Bradley Glodny for Botox and was disappointed. Upon first visit, he gave a full assessment of forehead and crows feet. I pointed out a deeper frown line on the right side of my forehead. He assured me it would all be A-OK. The result after two weeks was comedically unbalanced. When I raised my forehead, it was smooth on the left side and a noticeably deeper line on the right. I understand everyone's muscles operate differently, but this seems like a rookie mistake. I petitioned for complimentary correction, which was denied. And I had to re-pay for the corrective procedure. Kinda feel gypped. read more
