Corazon coffee bar is a cute spot with plenty of drink and food options. The coffee shop has a lot of tables inside, vibrant artwork, and little plants throughout. The parking situation is not ideal. I believe there is only metered street parking close by and I was lucky to get a spot next to the coffee shop. I ordered their mazapán cream cold brew. I enjoyed that it had bits of mazapán inside and the coffee was strong. It was good, although not my favorite cold brew. I was hoping to get a little more of the mazapán cream taste within the coffee. The lady at the register was welcoming and sweet. I was too excited for my drink and forgot to take a picture lol. I ordered the mazapan matcha because it was a unique matcha drink I haven't seen anywhere else. It was pretty good, the peanut flavor is strong because they crumble a real mazapan on top of the cold foam. If you like the Mexican candy you will definitely like this drink. The only reason I wouldn't order this specific drink again is because I couldn't taste the matcha because of the mazapan flavor and the drink was close to $10! The vibe is nice though and I would still return for their unique drinks. I walked so I'm not too sure about parking but also just a heads up, try to avoid coming around 2:30/3ish because it was packed with high school students coming after school so the line was super long. read more

The place has so much cultura and artwork and an overall sense of community. They offer specialty drinks as well as breakfast and pastries. Corazon Coffee in Santa Ana is an amazing, small coffee spot. I have tried the hot Cafe de Olla and it is so smooth and delicious. Their Spanish Latte is also one of the best ones I have tried. Their seasonal menu was so fun and I wish it was available year round for the Rompope latte. Parking is tricky but I have not had an issue around noon Monday through Friday. The service is great and the employees work swiftly. There are a few tables inside for people to enjoy either to chat or work. They have light bite menu of different types of toasts and quiche along with a pastry case from Crema. They have a tidy specialty menu that is very interesting and definitely leans toward Mexican flavors. They also have a matcha menu. You know it's good when police hang out and on this morning, they were hanging out and enjoying the coffee! Casual. Street parking that is metered but I came really early so I didn't feed the meter. The sign is located next to the register. The regular items are on a sign mounted behind the counter. As a side note, I really loved the decor. There were little flyers, notes, cards, and info from local businesses that showcases how this (relatively) new cafe is part of the heart of the people. It probably says a lot that we've come every day for the last week since we first found this place. It's located near the Arts school in DTSA, so it can get very busy in the mornings, but clears out after 9. The staff is all super friendly and they work quick on the drinks. The shop has some indoor seating and is usually filled with folks studying or hanging out. The drinks here are amazing, my wife gets the Coconut Macadamia Matcha, and I get the Mint Mojito Cold Brew. Both are some of the best drinks we've ever had, with my cold brew dethroning Philz's Mint Mojito in my opinion. I first visited Corazon Coffee Bar when they were a coffee cart operating at a nearby bar, when the bar wasn't fully operating during the day. The owner was always very friendly and willing to answer questions. Even during rush hour she would maintain her cool and operate smoothly. I'm so glad business has been booming and now they have their own locale. Corazon definitely has my heard when I'm in Santa Ana. You can miss its bright orange walls when you're driving by. I've only visited during morning hours and the cafe is quiet and offers plenty of seating with small tables. Great place to come alone or meet a friend. Some of my favorites: - Carlos V is a chocolate latte with Carlos V bits on top - Como La Flor is a rose latte, perfect subtle rose flavor. The owner makes her own rose syrup, you can truly taste the different and it's delicious! - Spanish latte has a tasty cinnamon flavor - strawberry Matcha Latte is light and made with freshly puréed strawberries. Yum! - Corazon Latte is a honey latte. Rich honey flavor, but not overwhelming. - Rompope Foam Latte was available during the holiday season. This place is a hidden gem. It's in the heart of Santa Ana and very nearby. The way to park is either on the street or they have a couple spots on the back parking lot. I enjoy coming here with my family. It's super cute and feels welcoming. I used to only get the Spanish latte then started to try the different things as well as their matcha. Now it depends what I'm feeling on the day but still an awesome place to go to and hang out. We also love the back patio to just enjoy our coffee before heading out, always nice and quiet. I stop here every time I'm in Santa Ana! I lowkey make it an effort to pull up before they close. During valentines days they had a xoxo which was bomb. I've had the banuelo shaken latte and some other item, never been let down. I love coffee shops with character - unlike a typical sterile coffee chain that's on every corner - Corazon definitely checks all the marks for being unique, decent seating, wide variety of drinks and pastries, clean restrooms. I discovered Corazon Coffee Bar after meeting up with some friends for breakfast over at Pop's Cafe, just a few steps away. I never knew this place existed - it helps that they have one of those folding billboard signs outside - otherwise, you'd probably miss it if you drove right by it. This is just a few steps and across the street from the UCI Family Health Center. Service was friendly and attentive - the barista (?) was patient while my group decided on what we wanted to get. A couple of samples were offered. Our drinks were ready in a matter of minutes. I was deciding on which yummy pastry to pick up, when I also noticed they served quiche! I've been meaning to find a coffeeshop that served decent quiche - but alas, I already had breakfast that morning. We had the Strawberry Matcha, iced coffee, and a macchiato. They all tasted wonderful - and the coffee art on the macchiato was on point. There's plenty of seating inside - both tables and a bar-style seating area along the wall. Outlets are more rare - although I did spot a couple. You probably don't want to lounge here too long anyway, since parking is sparse in this area (if you drove), and you're likely dealing with timed parking anyway. Restroom is clean and part of the cafe (this is saying a lot, since the restroom for Pop's Cafe a few steps away was down an adjacent alley). Free wifi, women-owned, small/local business is another plus! read more
